They announced a pre-order but when I check out the PS store, no pre-ordere yet, I called my local gamestop and they said it's not on their pre-ordere list
Keeping the original audio/voice acting, camera, filter, etc. is so clutch. I was really worried about it after the launch trailer, but it looks a LOT more faithful to the original than I ever could have expected. Copped the Deluxe pre-order, can't wait!
I'm VERY optimistic at this point which may ending up burning me in the end but I'm choosing to stay hopeful. 😂

This all looks great! I'd definitely like to see certain maps getting a couple of alternative paths, that compliment the already faithfully recreated 1:1 maps. It'd mean so much to me to find something new in this world as a returning player.

From the previous trailer for delta snake eater by seeing the holes and rips in snakes uniform got me thinking “what if having damage to the uniform also effects the camo index” the more damage the uniform takes the more of the camo index depletes food for thought.
The thing about the Mosin caught me instantly too.
I’m not necessarily mad that it’s a shot for shot remake with mgs5’s modern controls. I’m extremely excited. Hopefully this brings the series back from the dead. Give us a remake of the original MGS.
They absolutely need to keep the end dying after a week. And If possible, keep quick reloading
I still have a few reservations about this game.
If you use the legacy style, does that force you to use the old fixed camera or are you able to switch back and forth like in subsistence?
If you use the new style, are there still ways to go into first person and peek around corners or go onto your tiptoes?
I can't shake this feeling that there is a compromise regardless of which style you pick.
I feel that way too i really hope we can use like our own custom controls like being able to mix the new controls and camera movement with some of the old stuff too

Imagine first time players doing The shagohod chase with the new controls not having the option to see the cinematic camera during the chase.

I want more remakes but I'm concerned the lenght of Delta will hurt sales. Maybe they should have expanded the map.
If the game were longer, maybe MPO and PW would also be remade and would be available after Snake Eater delta or have those two as DLC. That would be the big boss trilogy that way.

@@KahosSaint I thought choosing different characters in MPO was fun. Like playing as para-medic, sigint, EVA, ocelot and others including Zero and Frank Jaeger. Seeing that in a remake would be fun to experience again.

I would love if that extra dlc sneaking pack was for the game. I always fantasized about playing MGS 3 with the MGS 1 sneaking suit or MGS 2. so im hoping that pack includes those suits for 3!
Would like to wear the Shadow Moses and tanker and plant suits from MGS1 and MGS2, respectively. And even with Solid Snake’s hairstyle from MGS1 just for fun.

it looks great with any classic game as long as they keep the story line the way it is no harm with improved gameplay and controls i think graphics are big like with original MGS1 improved graphics would be great and keep storyline is a must
In the Hayter video he mentions they got "almost" all the original voice work..I wonder what is missing 🤔
Probably the specifics of how to control snake, because it was recorded with PS2 control in mind. The 3DS version uses new recordings for these instructions.
I grew up with mgs3 subsistence, I personally would like a legacy control scheme with the Free View camera.

kinda upset that it is so 1:1. i’ve played this countless times, and it’s incredible, but I know it by heart. I would have loved some expanded sections. Like altered maps, or more areas between between the places we know. I really hope there is extra content that delivers on that. Fresh content with this stealth system is what I’m really hoping for.
Too many risks for Konami to not screw it up. They would need to adjust the very coding the AI uses, as well as rehire the old voice actors to do even more lines than they already did for this remake.
I think that this safer approach is needed for a game like this, but if this does well, I would like to see more risks taken if they were to do a remake of metal gear in the future.
Shut up. Every single remake does that and they usually fail hard. This is the most perfect remake of a game I've ever seen. Everything lines up perfectly. There's no need for expanded locations or extra locations. You want all that garbage, go play the FF7 remake. There has never been a remake this well done ever.

I think it should happen as a Big Boss trilogy that way. And make some parts of Portable Ops non canon. Would like to play as all the other characters like the other members in the remake like in the original.

THIS GAME LOOKS SO AMAZING!!! Also being able to walk across beams and stuff brings a whole new large amount of possible stealth tactics now that you don’t have to hang or hug a wall you can traverse easily and probably walk over enemies at some points. That would be sick
Literally the only new traversal mechanic in the game is the crawling backwards thing. You could walk across beams in the original too.

Rifle slings have been changed over the years and differ from rifle to rifle. With this taking place in 1964 though, they'll all be back straps and it'll still be proper. Do your research before posting some dumb shit like this.

Great video. I just hope the game is good. I don't know if you heard, but voice actor Jim Piddock confirmed that new lines of dialogue were recorded. On the Xbox Podcast, Okamura said that the new dialogue is for tutorial purposes only. But I still hope there's a simple phone call from Major Zero to Skull Face in the game's post-credits. We don't even need to hear Skull Face, just Zero talking to someone on the other side.

It looks like this new MGS uses auto aim , as the original mgs 3, it doesn't use aim system like mgs V on third person
If I remember correctly, MGO had auto aim and MGS4 also had it as well.

I’m very excited but have two concerns. 1. Why open pre-orders for physical copies and no release date? It’s not a greed thing because they don’t get the money until release. I think Konami’s marketing is pretty poor and this was a stupid decision on their part. 2. Are they upgrading enemy AI and/or making the game harder in response to improved controls and combat? If not the game would be too easy for people who have played it before.

I have already played the original game to death, and it's no longer fun to me. I hope they will find a way to somehow make it fresh again, because honestly, graphics are not a priority for me when it comes to MGS games. The fact that they got The Boss' face so wrong, makes it even worse. In the original, her expression was sharp and stern, but also sad. In the remake she just looks tired like a zombie. Why would I want to play something that might capture the original's general aesthetic, but not its soul?
This is the most stupid comment I've seen on a MGS remake video so far. Sounds like it's time for you to move on cause even after being shown, you obviously have no idea what's going on with this remake.
why does snake's face looks so weird and also.....wow this game is blurry asf, probably cause of unreal 5's default tsr and vaseline taa. The lighting and colors look stock too, did the metal gear staff actually work on this remake, feels like they didn't even touch it especially with The Boss looking a man with a wig on

This game could be $100 for the base game and I would still buy it. Not everything needs an online mode. No one would play it anyways. MGO in any iteration doesn't bring a big enough crowd. People don't play these games for online, they play them for the story and characters.

I also don’t believe every game need multiple players but if they could give us it would be a plus. I’m a huge fan too but we shouldn’t just drop big cash on remakes cause it could set a bad precedent cause their are a ton of remake one the way and a high price tag doesn’t mean a great game , old or new.

Would like to see Portable Ops and Peace Walker remakes included maybe as DLC. Or wouldn’t mind if they were added after beating Snake Eater Delta to complete the Big Boss trilogy. Wouldn’t mind if it were released in 2025. But the manga-style scenes can be cinematic cutscenes like the console games. I would like to see the MGS1/MGS2 walking stance when holding a handgun, even as an option.
Wish there’s a 2nd wave announcement for the collectors edition.

What if Code Talker is in MGS Delta since TPP ending timeline revealed he was in the same place where Operation Snake Eater takes which explained about him getting The End leftovers ( prob his teeth ) and he ll be like those Dwarf Gekko spies or stalkers in MGS 4 Act 3 or trying to hind from places where we cant reach 😅
He wasn't in the OG, he won't be in this.

So if anyone is wondering when the game is coming out i jus found out in GameStop website and apparently it released window in 12/31/25 basically end of the 2025 year but not sure it true but could be less days before that date but damm literally mext year😭😭😭 i jus want to re experience fighting the boss again and want to feel hesitant before pulling the trigger that scene is mad powerful i literally think before pulling it because i truly have love and passion for thus game definitely 1 or 2 of my favorite game og all the time rn god of war holds 1st then metal gear

MGS4 needs more single player experience and make it longer, expanded and enhanced, and more cut content included.
Between the amazing CQC, smooth movement and keeping things mostly 1:1, I can only ask for this game's version of VR/Alternative missions and something that stablishes from here the presence of Skull Face (make it related to your performance so he does his cleanup or not).
