It’s a K custom hybrid trash smash so it comes like that. I guess it funkifies the sound. Zildjian machine presses all their bells so as long as they have the right mold, it’s the same process as any other cymbal

Been stacking my cymbals for years gives it that trash sound personally I think they sound better than normal ones

Or…… you can check your cymbals after every song, set, or service, and if theyre barely cracked, find someone that will repair them the correct way to where theyll last as long as you let them last. Repairing and modding cymbals is my side hustle. I do cymbals for several drummers in the Chattanooga TN area
