This is also partly due to the board he is typing on. The Alu plate is relatively neutral, and when paired with the Acrylic case (+ the Keycap material / profile) the sound will be MUCH different than a similar metal case build. Also the recording can be another variable, yadadadadada.
Definitely keep this in mind when listening to sound tests!

If you add the shipping and the import fees because KBDFans declare up to the last cent for shipping, this ends up being a board of around 250$, which for many, is definitely not entry level if you add another 100-200$ for switches, keycaps and stabs.

Hey Slime, I do have a fume extractor/purifier that I use for soldering. I usually film the first couple joints without the purifier for the clean aesthetics, but I put it on right after for the rest of the joints! Thanks for worrying about my health 💛

@@JaeyouPark Apologies for the delayed ass reply, but np! I was just a bit worried you may hurt your lungs but it seems my worry was for naught.
Thanks for the videos on the Tofu btw! It's making me super interested in the Keeb hobby haha.
Now I'm just wondering if Acrylic is better than Alu or vice versa 🤔 😊

I want to build my first keyboard but Im torn between this or the gmmk pro, I know they have different form factors but im not too bothered by differance in65/75 boards, but I like the look of both, what would you recommend?

I'm very new to this scene. I don't know where to start... Where should I buy these items? How long would they take to get here? What do I do if I can't get soldering tools? Can I mod my Ducky One2 mini? What even is a Group buy? Which switches should I use?

So are there LED's for the case, or are they only in the switches themselves? Considering getting this case for my Wooting 60HE.

How much did it cost to build the whole thing in total?

I just looked at the switches, and just the switches alone would cost you upwards of 500$... Was thinking it would be cool to build one of these, but after looking at the prices... Hell nah

@@mlgpro6194 How high were you when you wrote that comment? Milky yellows are like a $0.24 switch. 70 switches (which is more than enough for a 65% build) is like $17
