Since I moved back home to Cork, one of the things I really miss about Dublin is being able to drive to and go for a walk in your garden at the garden centre! Griffins in Dripsey is the next best thing. I love your selection of plants and flowers. So inspirational and of course the talks you do are great. A fountain of knowledge so happily shared. Thanks for setting up the UA-cam channel, now I can still be inspired.

5 years ago vs now is a striking comparison. 2:46 vs now, it's so much more filled in.

I love watching your videos! You have such enthusiasm for gardening and it's easy to tell that it brings you so much joy. I live in Newfoundland, Canada, but I've always wanted to visit Ireland. Now I have yet another reason to come to Ireland; to meet you, and see your beautiful garden.

From grapes to spuds, you don't get a better spread in gardening than that and all blooming marvelous. A great garden, a great host. Looking forward to more of these videos, almost as good as the walks around the garden with yourself.

Great video and garden. I live on a small Island off of the west coast of Canada and we grow all of the same plants here . Mild wet winters because of the Pacific Ocean

I just discovered your channel today and I LOVE it. You are terrific. I am so jealous of your wet summers, too. Here in the Pacific NW, after about the 4th of July, we are very dry for about 2 to 2.5 months, just when we could use rain the most.

I've just come across your videos and I am very impressed with your knowledge. Brilliant to watch and very inspirational. I've been to your garden centre once before and I will be back to buy lots of plants, you deserve the custom for the great videos you are putting on youtube. They are such a great help for people who don't know a lot about gardening but want to learn. Well done and keep them coming.

You have given me courage to declare war on goose neck loose strife in my garden. I am praying I eventually get it out. Who is the idiot who put it in the garden, you ask? I did it to myself. Rookie mistake that is costing me lots of time digging. Only wish I had found your videos sooner!

Love the video, looking forward to more over the summer, John said flowers are for bees, people like flowers because colour is a mental stimulant, Wordsworth and Keats wrote about it, the most powerful nations have blue and red in their flags...

Would love to know how you bunny proofed the place. Mine have eaten my everything including my thorny roses. I can't grow anything. Thw only thing our garden centers tell me is to spray deterrent. Here in Massachusetts we get a lot of rain and have to remember to spray or else. Please tell me how you take care of your Peter Rabbits. Lol. Much appreciated.

For 18 Tears I struggled with very old Hydrangeas at a house we bought, and now have a potted one, from a friend. A lovely H. paniculata was too big to move with us: one bought from RHS Tatton Park has been a miserable plant. Last week I bought six (mad!) different ones, for pots to control their 'diet' - its limey here but why do some grow so big? I've a craze coming on.

Funny about the willow herb! Sorry! I’ve never encountered it here in the USA. But the purple loosestrife is indeed a plague! And the starlings and sparrows! I want to know how skunk cabbage was got into UK and environs.

I’m seed shopping and I see that there are many willow herbs available which I ‘m not going to get. But I AM gonna get some of that Buphthalmum salicifolia (I know I spelled something wrong) etc....🙂
