      Thanks for your feedback which proves our quality of course. We only use the Mirco seat as a basis (we could have used Sparco, Sabelt, ... or other brands as well) but we choose to work with Mirco for the following reasons:
      - Build quality of the seat
      - Stiffness of the shell as we need to drill holes
      - They cooperate with us to reinforce the shell while drilling holes
      The engineering, manufacture and installation of the cooling feature is done in Belgium, so it is a full EU product.

    Nice to see Polish product on your channel. I have a seat from them (different model) and am very happy with it. Mirco's solid company, they have their manufacturing site in Skoczów, Poland.

    Fans moving ambient air don't lower temperature. Evaporation of moisture(perspiration) through air movement is what lowers body temperature. If a temp was taken elsewhere in the room the temps would have to be the same as on the seat other than for hot and cold spots in the room created by the aircon.

    • @DrR1pper
      @DrR1pper Рік тому +1

      @jonasjonaitis8571 he is sweating but doesn't feel sweaty anymore because the moment any sweat is produced, it is able to be leave the surface of his body via the continual replenishment of fresh (i.e. low moisture) air in the regions where sweat would normally collect. This also has a positive feedback loop of reducing rate of sweat produced too since the sweat produced is able to evaporate away from his body which is what cools his body in the process. When the sweat is unable to evaporate, it acts to insulate and thus rate of sweating increases as old sweat remains (the opposite of it sweatings intended purpose but the autonomic systems in the brain regulating body temp systems doesn't have any means of knowing and factoring this in. It relies on us becoming irritated enough by the elevated body temp and sweatiness to go find somewhere to expose the body to fresh air so the sweat can evaporate and have the cooling effect it is designed to cause).

    No doubt a nice seat and I'm tempted (especially as swamp ass is a guarantee in my rig even in the winter months). However, for what is basically just a regular seat with a couple of fans and some 3D printed sorcerery, £700 seems exceptionally overpriced

    I was wondering if you could recommend the fanatec csl dd with the 8nm boost kit.

    The small pads are for your kidney support. Mirco makes good equipment, comparable to Sparco at lower price and with custom fabric/embroider options.

  • @zemi2750

    Suitable if you have AC on full blast, enough for the fans to push through. For the price, it should have cooling gel, would make the price somewhat considerable, price is on the high end for just fans. I'll reconsider if it gets a discount. On the wish-list it goes. On a positive note: This is a good step forward for comfort, specially for us not on the north.

    I'd like to see more seats with less wrap around support tbh. As someone who uses my simrig as a workstation as well (great real-estate for productivity), bucket seats are not comfortable.

      I had that issue. I ran a NRG wraparound seat in my rig the last couple years but once I added hinges to my keyboard tray so I could do away with the separate gaming desk, I wanted a seat easier to climb in/out. Looking to sell my NRG that looks new still, as I had a custom padded cover over it. Hopefully since it was a $650 seat, I can sell it and buy one of the XL NRG Prisma seats. My brake, like most is very stiff and that's why I went with a solid back seat. I tried the Prisma seat tho and it's got less movement than I expected in the back. I know there's a way to lock the back as well. May have to weld the recliner or something, not sure

      @@koenallard yeah, that's what I've done. Pulled a seat out of 1998 Honda Odessy. Super comfortable. But it doesn't have ventilation so summer is swampy.

    Barry, could you help me understand why hydraulic sim pedals have become an aspirational product. Doesn’t the hydraulic just transfer a push? Is the feel just down to the spring/rubber withing the system? Regards, Rowland.
