- This is the RSeat P1, a heavyweight steel sim racing rig, available in many colours, but clearly, orange is the correct one. This rig is built like a tank. I’m an Aluminium profile fanboy at heat, but this one impressed me in terms of strength and stability.

Chris you look like you are in a terrible position to avoid hitting your legs on that wheelbase mount, that mount looks like a serious oversight and would rule this rig out for me.

I can already hear delivery drivers yelling bloody murder lol. It sure looks great and does take adjustments headaches of a profile rig out of the equation. Love my next level elite buy everytime I want to fiddle for better position I tend to put it off lol.
I got mine about a year ago. The doorbell cam footage of my 4'10" wife and the 5'2" delivery lady trying to get it just to the front door....priceless lol. It was waiting on the front walk way where they left it when I got home from work.

Regarding height, I’m 6’6” and decided to make my own rig out of cls timber to my own specifications. It looks ‘okay’ but I sim in vr so it’s not an issue. Sturdy as a rock and under £100!!
It is a clean good looking chassis. His legs look awfully close to the wheel deck though. I still like my P1X. You just can’t go wrong with profile if you like changing things around ever.
I have the same rig. Really impressive and looks great. The RSeat rep was very helpful making sure I had all the right options.

At 4:06 that's quite the safety hazard, I cringed hard when I saw that imagining fingers being anywhere near it. Obviously nobody should be sticking their hands and fingers inside a moving mechanism but accidents can happen, the way that came down hard down like a guillotine
I've got the P1 rig as well with the TX40. Quite the good looking rig!
In a similar position.. Got the P1, Its a great rig as it suits my needs, looking at the TX40 to go with it, is it a good stand Greg?
@@Bash11011 it's a solid stand, I had some issue getting some pieces installed. Took a while to get the monitors to my liking. Their customer service is amazing if you have any issues
@@gregwootton may I ask if a minor flaw in them might be the lack or adjustable angle for side monitors?
@@Bash11011 just found I had to tilt the side monitors to line up with the centre. Check out some aluminum profile mounts, see which is better.
It certainly looks good and stirdy! The delivery drivers will definately want one to "have a forklift" available. Taking it out the box piece by piece, would that actually mean you've got movable chunks to go to the "upstairs" ? (as in, one-person-operation)
Also, in that last piece of footage of you driving, i noticed your shoulders not even being near the backrest of the seat. Might be because of your (yes, and mine more than yours) burly-ness, or the seat positioning/angle. Or the seat itself, that your lower body is supported, but your upper is not... i got that same issue with driving garbage lorries... whereas my simrig (obutto) is quite "supportive". Sidenote, on the usage of osw20 with obutto revolution, i emailed them (obutto) that the wheelbase needs an upgrade, as it cracked at those little rods underneath the wheelplate. A collegue of mine welded a steel strip vertically underneath , basically around the rear side of the underside of the wheelplate/deck, so it helps with dealing with the torque of the osw20 (at around 12 nm).. if i'd break that one, he told me to come back.. (since i hadn't within a week, he already knew it was a good fix.. it's just that not everybody knows how to or knows who to aks to weld something)
Mate, you need to check your driving position
Just received my P1 and the base, seat mount/slider, and pedal platform were missing. All I received was the racing seat and the welded tube steel wheel base mount. Pretty bummed.
I think I'd go for the GT omega prime for £709 with the R6 seat .p.s Why is youtube only showing our @ names atm btw ?

I have a rseat p1 but i have a problem, i buy it prebuild on rseat and i cant arrive to move the seat on the rail and the pedals too? Any help? Thanks a lot

You can't raise the wheel height very easily. It is a tank, but very limiting in design. I would never buy one.
Pity they cost a fortune in South Africa.
Poor ergonomics tbh.
I'm interested to buy one of these but I've been e-mailing Rseat America for about a month and don't get any response. Does anyone know if they are still in business?
