Not for beginners - mountain hike to Mount Pilatus

The hike from Lucerne to Mount Pilatus is a challenging but very beautiful hike. If you want to save about 1h, you can take the bus to Kriens and start the hike from there. Experience and good shoes are mandatory for this mountain hike. During the last 750 meters of altitude it has chains from time to time and it is quite steep, but also interesting and the view becomes more and more beautiful with increasing altitude.

Ich bin den Pilatus auf einer anderen Route hoch, da brauchte man nur viel Kondition, aber es war nicht gefährlich und machbar

Hoi Alexander. Ja, es gibt mehrere Routen. Wenn man Wandererfahren ist und gute Schuhe hat, ist keine gefährlich. Wer keine Erfahrung hat, scheitert wohl schon an der Kondition. LG, Benjamin
