  • This episode is the first of a mini series where I’ll be talking to three people who have been helping me in three key areas - movement, sleep and breath.
In this episode I chat with my trainer Jonson, Co-founder and Head Trainer of Nirvana Strength here in Canggu, Bali. I started working with Jonson approximately 14 months ago, and as you may have seen from my posts, when we started working together we were doing the smallest of exercises, to slowly increase my mobility and strength, and more importantly, to build up my confidence in my own bodies ability to move and recover.
In this conversation, we talk about how Jonson and I have worked together over the last year, how things have progressed for me both in terms of physicality but also mindset, when to know how to push and how to hold back, and flare ups and how they are all part of the process.

Hi great info thanks. It is really important to go slow and really listen to your body. I have tried this in the past and did it too quickly and crashed for months. Now I am doing it much more slow and having much better results. Miguel Batista (CFS-recovery) helps many people reintegrate movement in their lives. People following him and Toby Morrison are improving. These guys have recovered from CFS and know how to coach people. Miguel offers many free tips on how to do it yourself at home without the coaching. But coaching is probably better way to go, if you can afford it.
