lovely soft voice,,,soothing, and thanks for not pinning all the pieces on while doing the tutorial...that also was nice the way you organized. thanks so much. I have a chance to purchase three boxes of material,,if the person still has it and I am going to make oodles of these or christmas. Years ago one of my son's girlfriends gave me one and I was taken away by how beautiful it was and now I am making them. thanks again.
excellent teaching....slow and understandable...thank you so much...will make lots for christmas,,and to give to nice people I know along the way...thanks again. Juniebeth
Awesome video!! I've watched so many where I"ve not been able to follow along very well but you were very patient and explained everything very well :) I do appreciate that! I also love how you can use any bits of fabric with this to "custom" make the ornaments for people. Very creative!! Thank you again!
I'm a ironer. Can't help it. I watched another tutorial and wondered why they didn't iron the fabric. LOL. I'm so compulsive. Had to smile when I read your comment.
Hi--Do you use a regular styrofoam, or a special type of styrofoam? I thought perhaps regular styrofoam, with its large pores, might not hold the pins in as well. Thanks for the nice video, I'm excited to try this!
I would keep the fabric squares at 2". You might just have to set the rows apart a little more, or even add a row. Even if the rows don't meet at the middle, it shouldn't really be a problem because that part gets covered anyway. Experiment! :)
What a perfect demo and explanation of this classic craft. Calm and careful explanation, would be great for a beginner as well. Thank you Angie 🦋
you have a soothing voice and a makes it a pleasure to listen to your tutorials.

Thank you for this! I've got a bunch of vintage fabric I've been trying to find a home for and this should be perfect! :)

Thank you so much for posting this tutorial! I will be making and giving these away for Christmas this year.
Very pretty! Thank you for teaching this craft. I will attempt to make several, if my first one turns out well.
First ironing the fabric into triangles makes this look easier! Ty so much!
Tried one never turned out this good
You made it so easy to make!!! Thank you!!
Does it have to be cotton or can I use flannel ?
I think you can try with any fabric you like

I could only find 3" styrofoam balls, would this require larger than 2" fabric squares to ensure full coverage? Thanks!

+John3and16 I have 3" Styrofoam balls and use 2-1/2" squares.
@akrejci1000 Regular styrofoam works just fine.
There are other tutorials that have the same end result- but without all the ironing. Nice balls! But there is a less time consuming way.
