Barbel are easy on here, June / July not much chance but they seem to migrate back up here towards september/october. Had many a good session on here including multiple captures but nothing over 12.5lb as of yet. Didn't renew this ticket this year but might give it a go next year. Also had a 6lb Chub out of here last year from the matress peg ;)
Not sure I would describe the barbel fishing as easy but there are still a few good fish about. Nice chub from the mattress peg, I've not fished it this season!
Brilliant fishing mate but please please please stop standing up with the fish, not only is it putting the fish in danger of kicking and you dropping it but it really is sending out the wrong message to any inexperienced anglers watch and then thinking it’s ok and it really isn’t. Again fabulous fishing and well done on the PB.
Awsome,
Cheers 👍
Nice fish😊
Thank you 👍
Fantastic fish nice to see their are still good barbal in there.🎣👍
Yep, still a few about, cheers 👍
That 15 was absolutely amazing and gorgeous mate. My best is 12lb 3oz from the Don . I can't imagine almost 3lb on top of that .
Cheers, it was a very good fish, a 12lb fish is still a nice fish 👍
That's excellent, m8. I'm pleased for you well done bud, lovely fish 🎣👍👍🎣

Good to see there is still some decent fish in the Derwent I have struggled to register a bite in my last few visits
Probably not the volume of fish there was once, but still a few decent fish about 👍
@@DeggersFishing which ticket were you on for the featured stretch please?
Sorry I don't share exact location or club ticket as regulars don't tend to like it.
@@DeggersFishing no problem
Recently caught my first double. Can’t wait to improve on that. I fish the Dorset Stour and the Avon. I’m lucky that I can cycle to both rivers.
Well done on your first double, good luck with improving on that fish 🤞
Fortuna shines on you👍
Yep, it does sometimes! 😊
Great video, any crayfish activity?
Thanks, no sign of any crayfish 👍

Could you say what card you were fishing

You need a bigger net my friend that's the only mistake you have made just beer it In mind for safety ov the fish
Maybe it doesn't look that big on the video but it's a Gardner 32 inch deep pan barbel net.
