Shawn, I had on around the time the Dimensions were out, and the hammering was from the underside of the cymbal! I have a polaroid of is somewhere. I believe it was around the time the Dimeansions were discontinued, and models were integrated into the 2002 line that they went "back" to the earlier style, resulting in the version 2. I've always had a soft spot for this cymbal. Bobby Blotzer used them for years, and I always loved his ride cymbal sound.
