I've got a Granny and she's a Hindustani. She's my Hindustani Granny from Bombay. When she feeds me on chapatis and curried mince and tatties. I'm vindaloo all day.
Al, I made this today for the first time it was delicious and I will certainly be making it again. Thank you for sharing this recipe. I use many of yours they’re easy to follow and produce meals. Thank you very much and I hope you keep them coming
I heard about your channel just over a year ago after a recommendation from a friend. Loving your channel. It has inspired me to make at home curries again. Will definately be making this, thank you x
I've been enjoying your channel, Al. You have a very friendly and welcoming presentation style. Thanks for doing what you do! This looks like a great meal to make for the family, I think I'll give it a go this week.
Love a Keema... Thanks for showing this! I'm happy that my method is not too different to yours! I must be doing things right! (I also added fried paneer to mine, as well as potato and peas. Works a treat!)
Hiya Al , hope you’re well . Received my burgundy apron Thursday 30th oct well made up now . Cooking the chicken pathia at the weekend, my wife’s favourite ❤️. Keep the great food coming. Regards Dave , Derby 👍
Very nice. I used pre-cooked mince which I had in the freezer. Keema bhuna is a firm favourite up here in Bradford. Very nice with pieces of chicken tikka instead of the veg. Keep em coming Al and try the Theakston's Old Pec in your beer pump.
I like your mince breaker. I've just been making some wine from home grown grapes and I could have done with one of those to break up the grape mixture.
Tell me you haven't looked through his channel without telling me you haven't looked through his channel, he has already done all of those, tut, tut, tut.
Really enjoying the channel. You have almost single handedly given me the boot up the backside to start making my own curries. i even got a bit cocky and made an indonesian Beef Rendang today. You should try it!
Absolutely one of my favorites! In fact it was this dish that got me so interested in Indian food add a restaurant in Chicago Illinois. So I have a question to ask I'm in the US and you guys all talked about adding green chilies. I haven't seen those Chili's where I am do you happen to know what the US equivalent to those Chili's would be?
Hello mate, I want to add a spice collection to my Christmas list, what do you think are the top 7 - 10 must haves to start of with? Cheers, is it still the same as the vidio 3 years ago?
Hi Big Al, I hope you're well. This is a mammoth amount of mince, how many people would you typically expect to feed with this sized meal. Ps still loving the show, keep it going kidda
Al it’s all your bloody fault 😢since I tried this recipe I’ve had to cook this 4 times now for the them lot at home ! It’s been voted the best and I’ve had a go at pretty much all your 30mins curry’s keep it going buddy your the best
You know.. I’ve made keen & pea’s quite a few times… but never with potato. In fact I never did like potatoes in curries.. But as I follow you repulsive I have been putting potatoes in the dishes.. Our local butcher has steak beef mince at 5lb for £15 I buy and get him to split into 5 and freeze The biggest thing is when you fry it there is no liquid to tip off I ask him he said supermarket adds water and fat to bulk it out You can absolutely tell the difference and far cheaper
So many innuendos in the Al, mincing on grinder, grinding your meat, it’s up to you how moist you want it lol you could have thrown in a Frankie Howerd “oh no missus”

Have to say that looks delicious and will be definitely making this.❤💘😍
Hi Al. Love your channel and I have tried a number of your dishes. Keep up the good work!
Definitely a great midweek meal, can't wait to try it.
I like your mince breaker. I've just been making some wine from home grown grapes and I could have done with one of those to break up the grape mixture.
Al, please can you do a series on side dishes?? Like aloo gobi, tarka dhal, mushroom bhaji, ocra bhaji etc...
Tell me you haven't looked through his channel without telling me you haven't looked through his channel, he has already done all of those, tut, tut, tut.
@sdm197 yes I have thank you... updated versions.....
Ohhhhh updated versions, so why didn't you say that? To any outsider it appeared that you hadn't looked. I do apologise.

To me that’s a good consistency…
Yum 😋 looks great. I’ve got so many curries to cook… it’s going to be a few weeks to get to this one…
I'm doing this tonight and using tinned new potatoes. Find that they hold their shape better
Loved this video you make it look so easy. Can't wait to make this. Poor John could hardly get a word in 😂
I think that’s inspired me to make my first Keema. Thanks Al.
The mince crusher could come in handy at work controlling cheeky people 😆

Weird that you should be talking about mash at the start - cos you were well and truly mashed when you filmed this. Proper Lad. Legend :)
Thanks man!! 👍
Great looking fish Al , big John enjoyed it 😊
You could save even more time by using tinned potatoes which just need warmed through. I'm always looking for shortcuts, though!
A nice 1/4 teaspoon of king narga chilli goes well with this yum yum 😋
Yes it does!
That's my Saturday night curry sorted - thanks Al, you're the best
Cooking this right now.
Looks delicious

We’ve just had a new Kitchen fitted, I used to have a proper aluminium curry pan on my gas hob, now it’s an induction hob (the wives choice 🙄) what pan can I get for the same results to caramelise for my curries?
Hey stainless steel. Take my advice. Never listen to the wife. You'll get in all sorts of trouble lol
Great bud

Sure you don’t want to watch me grinding my meat! 😅 Al that absolutely was on purpose! Making it now. Looking good.
Al u doing well.. But can I ask a favour.. Can u post how to do a korma paste.. Can't find anything on recipe.
I like it a bit moister with halved hard boiled eggs
"Grinding away at my meat" 😂😂😂❤
Where is Al’s mix ? I always use that
Al, great vid.
That mince nasher is spot on for mixing small buckets of gypsum plaster and does a cracking job of stirring 5 ltr paint pots..brill 😅
Also , great for dealing out dungeon beatings. make sure the paint or gypsum is washed off first. Might be messy otherwise😮
And olive oil ! Someone's won the lottery
Al grinding his meat is the last thing we want to see on a cooking program 🤭
October is not the 6th month of the year Al 😂😂😂
I was pissed
@@AlsKitchen😂😂😂 Good lad😅

😂😂 ffs sounds like me
It is if you start in may lol
"Grinding away at my meat." Mary Whitehouse would turn in her grave 😂
It’s a problem free philosophy, not a film😂
🙂😋❤
You can always nip into the Indian butchers and ask for Keema , I think its minced mutton but it works for me and its cheaper.
hakuna matata, it means no worries , for the rest of your days 😂
Can't wait to give this a go
My local indian here in Australia does an insanely good paneer curry, that has spinach in it. That would be good to do Al.
Where in Aus?
You mean palak paneer lol
@@Mozz_ica Sunshine coast QLD
@@Battlestar_galactic there's more to paneer than just panak paneer.
@@jpl2803 lol, bit far for me to come. WA.
Oh Al, how little you know us. We would love to watch you grinding away at your meat!

@@AlsKitchen thanks al, love the vids, going to make a batch of gravy next! check out a curry called lal maas, dark and rich ...
??? When does salt go in ?
Half way
If corriander looses all its flavour when cooked, why is it added at the beginning of base gravy which takes 3 hours?
I've done a rapid version of Base that doesn't Inc coriander
Live hot spicy curry but I think there was far too much chilli powder 😮
So many innuendos in the Al, mincing on grinder, grinding your meat, it’s up to you how moist you want it lol you could have thrown in a Frankie Howerd “oh no missus”
You are on it. Not many catch them all.
