I love the premise you came up with for this video. Many of the singers that I love, whatever the genre, don't have a lot of range. But they have a lot of character and soul. And you started with one of my favorites Leon Russell.
Exactly! I love all of these singers. An argument could be made that I love them because their voice isn't the best but they're able to utilize what they have in the best way.
It’s style. It’s passion. It’s uniqueness. They aren’t trained singers but they are all confident performing artists. Thanks for not putting Willie Nelson on the list. 🤙🏼
I was going to possibly put him in but he’s using his voice almost as a piece of the music, to me. It’s another texture within the music. So took him out.

Kurt Cobain is one of the first people I thought of when I saw this video..lol I like the dude and I like Nirvana he just did not have the best voice.
Yep, he really stretches his limited vocal range. But I like it. Haha!
@@AsTheTableTurns like Mick said it's only rock and roll
if you're gonna mention Bob Dylan(whch i agree) you should mention Kris Kristofferson too!
First like
Haha! Thanks, bro!
Tom Waits.
