The point is the A's are in the middle of relocating to a new city (well, trying) and yet before they even have a shovel in the ground they're already telling their new city they want to play nearly 10% of games somewhere else. Orioles, Mariners and Dodgers have all been in their current cities for decades and aren't moving anywhere anytime soon.

This is not true. The three teams to have have most recently opened new stadiums have it stated that they will play no more than 3 "home" outside the venue. Why do the A's need more than double that? Especially considering they are the ones who used 81-game projections in their financial presentations.

Makes you wonder tho - with some many sell out games needed in Vegas to pay off the bonds at home why is fisher trying trying to play an extra 10% on the road to build brand….
