I loved the original incarnation of it and this video is also how I found out it was back. The one clip you showed where the scoreboard ticker was just a video of the scoreboard made me HOWL. Even university sports here (hi from western Canada) have a mostly uniform score ticker (sometimes the font for the score varies a bit, but whatever). If you can’t even figure out how to get a score bug onto your broadcast, you don’t really have a right to exist as a pro league.

There was Real San Jose when the Earthquakes franchise moved back in 2005. It did draw a few thousands fans for a number of years. Still going on to this day.

I've been an Earthquakes fan since I was 7-8 years old, and im turning 20 next week. I've never seen a football club that is so seemingly neglected that every time an ounce of progress is made by the team it gets reported as huge news. I'm hoping a new team can start in the South Bay/Silicon Valley area so while I will never stop supporting San Jose (unless fisher moves them to Vegas) I can have some hope of having a local team with owners who care about them.

As an ex-A’s fan, I decided to pick up cricket this year. I was pulling hard for SRH in the IPL which was a lot of fun. Now I’m excited to cheer for the Unicorns!

For cricket to grow in the states the local cricket grounds needs to be improved for local talent to hone their skills. I play in the Midwest league in Chicago and the 80% of the grounds(outfields) are like cow pastures.

For big success of major league , they need big players from india, england. But how you gonna pay them , they are getting big paycheck (more than a million dollars) for few month of league cricket. This t20 wc can be launchpad for cricket in America, if this fails then no hope.
