I'm 29 YO and I've been single since 2016. I don't have kids either. I do desire a relationship but I've learned some things from past relationships that have made me more cautious of who I let inside my life. I used to beg for love. I used to think that when I got the guy, I would be happy. I was wrong. I found, self love is what I needed. I'm still on the journey to self-love but I now feel better and happier. This doesn't mean I don't long for a relationship. I do, but I also feel okay not having one. So, if you are reading this and feel sad for a love reason, cry and let everything out. Just cry. Feel the sadness. Then, tell yourself that you are worthy of love and little by little lift yourself up.

I am too. Got my dogs and life is good. I admit it is exhilarating to be in the beginnings of a relationship but then it gets messy and emotional. Im happy to give up those first few weeks of excitement for long term peace and happiness on my own.

Hard work took my parents from me, that's why I deny it as a means to validation. Being a tough guy is a lesson I never received, so I can't count it.

I found myself in an unending nightmare. As hard as this is, you were blessed that the narcissist left you and your child. Co-parenting is not easy. It is better now that I have detached emotionally and have taken my power back I have done some real soul searching as to why and how this all happened. I needed answers. It is in this that I finally came to the knowledge of what I have been dealing with my entire life, starting with my family. I was raised in a narcissistic abusive home. I also came to the knowledge of who I am... A super empath. I realized that I had been conditioned from am early age to ignore red flags and to accept abuse. I also realized that I needed to quit searching for a man to love me and validate me... I needed to to this for myself first. I needed to heal on all levels and know my worth. If you do your soul work it will attract your equivalent soul mate. Work on yourself first and foremost: validate the past, heal from it, but also acknowledge it will travel with you but it does not have to define you or the next relationship. You can love another while you learn to love yourself. you can heal with another while they too heal, but you must do the soul work to find the compatibility that Jay talks about. So good!
How does one start then? We can no longer do it alone, we're constantly running en empty.

0:01-0:30 he’s got a good point. Earlier relationships help you learn from the mistakes. Every relationship is a new start. Different scenario. Each situation and person is different. Not a one glove fits all. Keep your experiences but understand that not one situation is the same. Not all men/women are cheaters and want to hookup. Trust the process and grow. If you’re skeptical, you need to let go. A few bad habits, I can tolerate because I appreciate and love uniqueness in the other person. That person who doesn’t appreciate me in my worst, doesn’t deserve me at my best because I appreciate them unconditionally. With all their flaws, so I expect the same.
The older the harder to find love or soulmate. I give up. I’m going just to focusing improving myself and make my life better. Life is too short to waste on someone else.

Most people miss one key point.
Relationships is not about love.
Relationships is more about sharing and caring.
You establish a relationship with someone, the moment you start sharing and taking care of them.
Relationships is not about the other. It’s more about how we want and keep giving what we know we want to share.
Love does not come from being in a marriage or dating or one night stands.
Love is the result of sharing and taking care for someone that is already inside our hearts. Not for what the other done. But for our genuine choice and decision to care and share.
How fulfilling loving someone you no longer can be in a relationship with, actually is? Even if you love that person genuinely and sincerely and wish her the best in life, even when it means not you?
It's true love I think, but what's the point?
It's impossible to find a person to match all 5 points. Period.

There is nothing in this world that is going to change my view on relationships with women my age. I have had nothing but negative experiences. So I have decided to stay single for the rest of my life and to keep my money in my pocket, because in my view relationships are a waste of money. I was taught from a young age that money is extremely valuable.
Well I am past 40 and we will leave that there lol. I'm 5"10 and womanly on top. Males in all of their extreme horniness get stuck on the physical. Then they go deeply into Operation Get Her Naked mode.
They have no sexual self control. It's ok to be attracted to the physical. My problem is, they get stuck there like a juvenile and cannot function outside of that attraction.
Or, they think bec we are nice we are easy to manipulate. I can be nice. I can also snap on someone if they need it. So they need not assume anything just because they think I'm nice.
Then there are tons of narcissists everywhere. They gravitate towards empathic ppl. Like moths to a flame.
None of those scenarios are conducive to me being attracted to any of them.
I don't give a rat's ass about someone's money if he is a narc or just place misogynistic for whatever reason, I'm noping out of that.
A guy in medical school wanted to marry me.
He knows it looks good on paper to be married.
He had zero interest in me getting to know him as a person. Zero. I don't get turned on by servicing his needs while he ignores mine.

When I was younger I looked at relationships as a way to validate myself over the course of time I broke my heart many times and slowly I learnt about self worth . I'm 30 now and single but now I'm confident people are attracted to me , they compliment me and want to be my friend , I can deal with disappointments, I'm whole I'm complete and independent .Now I'm finally ready for a healthy relationship 😊

I agree with all types of love. My personal experience about acts of service, I never help anybody expecting anything in return. I am not a people pleaser. Im very introvert and those who dont know me think I am mean because I am kind a quiet person.

All of my relationships have ended because I got past the first three phases (Chemistry) and realized there’s no Emotional and Spiritual connection (comparability). We need to find balance in everything we do.

I wholely agree that most people search for someone based on the first 3 chemistries. But I know for a fact including myself that wealth would not be my #2. My #2 is spirituality, my#3 emotional. My#1 matches yours. I am single and love the freedom I've experience in being single. I learned and practice self love continuously. I want a relationship, a partner to grow with. I believe when the time is right the person God has for me will come but until then I am living my life to the fullest. I found my purpose and the joy I found in doing my purpose allowed me to fill a gap that I once thought I needed a man for. I never thought my happiness was in another human . I knew there was something I could excel in that topple over the cup of love I have to give. My cup runneth over in my purpose and helped me see that I am okay with or without someone. Collective find your purpose and be overwhelm with joy from something that belongs to you. Loving yourself is the beginning to loving someone else. When we learn to love ourselves and how we want to be love we set healthy boundaries for others to love you.
