    Jay's 2016: All were surprises!
    - Moved country
    - Moved 3 Jobs
    - Building a career
    - 4 months until being broke in NYC
    - 30 Days until his VISA expires
    - Moving with his wife who values family and pulling her out from that
    Challenges:
    - Intense emotionally, mental, and physical pressure
    - Lots of uncertainty
    What he has done:
    - Sending tons of emails out to people to cooperate (What I do and stand for)
    - Shared what he has learned thus far
    - Didn't judge the moment and didn't label the moment to be good or bad, because it would limit it to become what it could become (Gift can turn into a curse, a curse into a gift)
    - When I protect my purpose, my purpose will protect me (Temptation, distraction, opportunities etc.). Not getting lost in the noise. I want to live and follow my purpose and they will happen.

Luke the explanation that you have provided is quite thoughtful, but there is a difference between a peraon who is facing challenges in a 1st world country and a person who face challenges in a 3rd world country. Yes I understand both are completely different, the 3rd world country the problema are existential. Moreover, it depends in the person's own inherited strength also. We only talk about the people who are successful, but not those who have tried and because of many things they failed.

I was feeling too low. Lost job, had breakup, cheated on, depts, struggling with depression anxiety and panic attacks. I was crying before watching this video because of all the mess going on in my life. Still have no clue what to do, where my life heading, feeling like I’m loosing everything at a time. But then ended up here and being very honest this video gave some sense relief, motivation. I believe everything gonna be fine soon… this phase is tough to handle but this is teaching me so much. It’s a life time learning which no university gonna teach me. Thank you so much Jay…. Please keep on making such videos, it helps us..

Jay is a True Source of wisdom and inspiration- Stay blissfully dissatisfied-
1.On the average day, most people make themselves unhappy simply by finding it impossible to accept life just as it is presenting itself.
    2. If you worry too much about what might be, and wonder too long about what might have been, you will ignore and completely miss what is.
    3. The secret to getting ahead is to focus all of your energy not on fixing and fighting the old, but on building and growing something new.
    4. Letting go doesn’t mean you don’t care about something or someone anymore. It’s just realizing that the only thing you really have control over is yourself in this moment.
    5. In most cases, you can’t calm the storm - it’s not worth trying. What you can do is calm yourself, and the storm will pass.
    6. There is absolutely nothing about your present circumstances that prevents you from making progress, one tiny step at a time...
Think about how these points relate to your life right now.
Your present response is often far more powerful than your present circumstance. A part of your life is unquestionably decided by completely uncontrollable circumstances, yet the vast majority of your life is decided by your responses to these kinds of circumstances.
Thus, the goal isn’t to get rid of all your painful thoughts, feelings or life circumstances. Because that's impossible. The goal is to change your response to them starting today. Once you begin to value your inner peace over your need to hold on, engage, react, or be right, you will in fact begin to feel more centered and whole (and in control). Truly, learning to let go of certain things and detach from certain people's behavior, are two of the great paths to inner peace... In a nutshell, we hold on tight to the hope that things will go exactly as we imagine, and then we complicate our lives to no end when they don't.
So how can we stop holding on?
By realizing that there’s nothing to hold on to in the first place.
Most of the things we desperately try to hold on to, as if they’re real, solid, everlasting fixtures in our lives, aren’t really there. Or if they are there in some form, they’re changing, fluid, impermanent, or simply imagined in our minds-Life gets a lot easier to deal with when we understand this.!!!!
    peace🕊

"Don't judge the moment" I literally just learned this a few weeks ago with my baby. People would say she is "bad" when she cried and I recognized that she is just a baby who cannot speak and can only cry to express herself. Why would people call her bad for expressing herself the only way she knows how. 😊

I loved this episode the best. “Never judge the moment “. It brought tears to my eyes! I called my husband 2 days ago and said I’m a failure. I quit practicing medicine in 2020 and dove into running a business. It took me a year to come up with a product and over $15k spent on it but I can’t make good ads and sell anymore products. I’m trying so hard and I am so specific with my brand but I’m not meeting my target market. It feels so demoralising. Luckily my husband recognises this feeing and is constantly reminding me to pull myself apart from business and let it work with spending a humane hours of work per day on it instead of all day with stress.
I’m exercising, I’m meditating and I’m also doing my daily 5AM club victory hour.
Thank you Jay Shetty. The universe brought me to you. I was lost when I found your podcast but I’m slowly finding myself now years later.

A good preventative approach towards trying to avoid stress is to live a life that is in harmony with natural laws and events. Whenever we are accepting certain realities, even if we do not like them, this is a big step towards having a lot less stress in our lives.
Let us take a look at two persons leading different lifestyles. One man is a doctor and has a family with three children. Although he is busy, he is leading a regulated and balanced life. He sleeps from about 10:30 to 6:30 am every day. He prepares fresh, healthy foods and avoids fast foods. He spends as much time as possible in nature and with her family. He does not like to watch negative and violent content on TV or online. By his lifestyle choices he is supporting the health of his body and mind. This way he will not be stressed out very easily. Another doctor with similar responsibilities has an erratic schedule and lifestyle. She does not exercise, does not eat healthy, sleeps too little and is always bombarding herself with a lot of information and activities. By her lifestyle choices her health deteriorates and is creating a fertile ground for illness in the future. As the mind and body feel overworked, they cannot cope well with the demands of life, and such a person may more easily experience stress and tension.
