I may have never got to see them, but growing up my dad would always play the cramps, and lux would come and hang around in the garage sometimes cuz he and my dad were buddies. Was sad when he passed. R.I.P

Never got to see them back in the day but I was privileged enof to take my little brother to 71st and lewis to the other side and share one of my best nights ever got to hang out after the show take pics and see my little bro become a punk rocker thanks for all your year guys rest in peace lux and my little brother I'm on my way
A couple of these songs sound like early versions of Drug Train and Hot Pearl Snatch. I really, really like hearing the numbers with bass forward, truly an oddity for my beloved Cramps
@@matttkonture70 In terms of 'pure rock'n'roll performance' they won hands down. - Saw them many years ago as a teenager in the 80's. They were something else live.

@Pete Testube Hey Testube, you obviously don't know how to use the word proto...it means forerunner. Jim Morrison wasn't proto punk? Certain Stones songs weren't proto punk? You're stricter than a school marm.
Feel pity for the generations that will never see the Cramps live. We who did were blessed.
Hear,hear🎶🎵💓

For what it's worth should be in the hall of fame
yep
wow this is great! thanks so much for posting.

Garbage Man is probably part of my greatest teenage emotions

The best concert i"ve seen in all my life was The Cramps one yes
@@matttkonture70 In terms of 'pure rock'n'roll performance' they won hands down. - Saw them many years ago as a teenager in the 80's. They were something else live.
I don't need to go to a concert to rock man
“Oddities” implies that they did some normal things.😂
haha was thinking the same thing
Gives me an urge to hit the bottle.
Thank you.
More good stuff from the best ever.
brilliant cheers mate!!!!
Wish Elvis Fuckin Christ had lived long enough to hear his namesake tune. I wonder sometimes if he was aware of their magnificence.
Yea, agree, too bad He was dead 2000 years.

Was IGGY the chief inspiration for Lux's stage persona?

Not an actual album. A handmade compilation.

I'm A Cteature
The Ultimate Cult Band.
I like the Chicken song.
if this ain't proto-punk i don't know what is...it's punk and surfer music rolled into one...great sound
@Pete Testube Hey Testube, you obviously don't know how to use the word proto...it means forerunner. Jim Morrison wasn't proto punk? Certain Stones songs weren't proto punk? You're stricter than a school marm.
@Pete Testube Ok, use your imagination and make the argument. You don't have to wait for Spin magazine or whatever you read to tell you how to think.
@Pete Testube Oh yeah, Velvet Underground was also proto punk...Iggy Pop was the transition from Rock to Punk. Iggy Pop was the missing link.

no rarities. only you're gonna miss me & maybe My Flah on you is really rare
You forgot some songs
Well that was ambiguous
Maybe you could enighten me on the tracks i missed
@@DaleDucktail Was just being ambiguous. I meant in the description.
@@DaleDucktail Great upload though, I listen to this everyday
Louie Louie never sounded so good. How many bands have had a go at this classic? The Cramps show how it should be done.
I wonder who was the dummy that voted this down?
maybe the name of the post / video ... "oddities" ?
to a cramps fan this is normal. everyday.
not oddities.
@@bilwisss the cramps are the best i like all there albums...
@@bilwisss So you downvoted this for that reason? If that is the actual reason for anyone downvoting the video, that would be incredibly dumb.
@@Splattermelt that was just my theory, but who knows how i voted? lux knows.
Everything they do is odd.
