I was at that concert weekend in Nordheim. The Ramones and Siouxsie and the Banshees played on the same day. There was a great atmosphere there and there were no annoying smartphones.😜

With that "vertical smile" peeking though, Lux could have easily passed for the classic refrigerator repairman. How his pants managed to always stay up, although not completely so, is surely one of the mysteries of the universe. ;-)
@@kellybrown7671 Oh, hell no; I saw then in '82 with Kid Congo on guitar. It's nonetheless amazing how Lux's pants were always at the same level throughout the show, whatever method he might have used.

One show I saw them in 82 or so (out of about 6 that I caught of them) Lux ended up in nothing but 6 inch spike heels and a thong climbing the PA stacks at the side of the stage. Spectacular shows always! Nobody ever came close to the bedlam that happened at a Cramps show.

I've seen The Cramps multiple times. I've lost count. I can't imagine seeing them in the DAYTIME! When the SUN is out! UGH! With a giant crowd! I did see them at the Fillmore in San Francisco multiple times. I saw them at Shoreline Amphitheater a few times, which is huge. At night. But nothing like this. I'm spoiled. I enjoyed seeing the band up close & personal. Especially when Lux took off all his clothes.
Saw them at the Hollywood Palladium back in the day he fell off the stack and bled all over the ass hole security, they were freaking out, the crowd went insane.
My guess is their being ignored or worse, punished by the egocentric camera, sound, etc techs, and Lux seems to handle it well messin around and all “ok whatever, I dont giv’a fug reaction.” I’d love to know what’s behind this show. If you’ve played clubs and have dealt with or known club house techs, you know they can really be egocentric a-holes that don’t even need a reason to ignore simple requests for volume on monitors or an undamaged mic or cable, and girls in bands can get treated worse just because some jerk gets kix outta cutting sound out, low. There is a jack off jill long-overdue-reunion and special birthday tribute where the band do a ice-bucket-like -fake-blood thing like she used to do but anyway watch that for a good example of technical difficulties live, being sabotaged and struggling to get help and being ignored for too long and messing up the entire special rare reunion at the most important part.

Classic Cramps, ultimately the best live performances I've ever seen, four times I saw them live and they are unforgettable! I miss them.
I've seen them a bunch of times (over 20) mostly at Maxs, one of the best.
Have to agree, one of the best live bands I've ever seen. The line up with Brian Gregory and Nick Knox was, for me, the Cramps at their finest.
Love The Cramps ....fucking hate all you bastards who saw them live ....shut up....!
