Hi and thanks for your reactions to some great songs :) My humble suggestion is that you react to a song called More than Fair by Mickey Jupp. This song was never a big hit and Mickey was never a superstar. But he was what we call a "musician´s musician" meaning contemporary musicians loved his stuff. I´m sure you will love the mood and the lyrics of this song. / Take care
Yo wats good Empress Joy Jean, how are you? Im glad to hear that you like and enjoyed the live music video version of Chris Issak wicked Games (the live version song). But you should also listen and react to Chris Issak wicked Games (Official Video). Dont get me wrong, the live music video you listened to ago was good. But you got try this song by Chris Issak Wicked Game (Official Video ) is way more romantic, passionate, Smooth, sexual, relaxing and so on. Yes i know you already listen to this song already but the music video environment and appearance is different in this one. Please once again React to Chris Issak wicked Games (Official Video).
I totally agree with you. It is kind of sad that people only know him for this song because he has so many amazing songs but this one is very iconic. He is a great singer.
Chris Isaak once quipped...."It's hard sometimes being a celebrity in music. There's times when girls won't quit knocking on your hotel room door in the middle of the night, and you have to get up and let them out......:)
This is by far one of the most beautiful songs ever written, and Mr. Isaak is one of the most criminally underrated singers ever. He just pours his emotion into the song, you can feel the pain someone did to him.
It’s a double negative, so maybe it means everybody loves somebody? The tone certainly is mournful, great ending and ambiguous to me, which makes it even better!
Yes, it's the extreme devastation felt by someone who has been through such powerful unrequited love and been heartbroken, as if there's no love in the world that will be reciprocated.
I used to hate this song when I was a kid when it would come on MTV. Now nearly 40 this song really kind of tells my story of lost relationships and broken feelings. Timeless, personal, tragic, beautiful...
This song is beautiful, but it is also filled with pain and loss. For anyone who has ever had someone play games with your heart, or when you cared for someone only to never have it reciprocated...this is the song that embodies that feeling. Heartache.
Definitely my favorite Chris Isaak song. To me, the song is about unrequited love. You can just feel the pain and heartbreak. Anytime I've had a relationship go sour, I find myself drawn to this song. Helps me through it. One of my favorites.
The best thing about this video (besides Empress's reaction) is that it's not just a live version, but it's an off-the-cuff studio sound check!! Just a brilliant version !!!
There was a period of many years back in the day when this was my top favorite song, it had such a unique hypnotic sound to it that it stood out from any others.
I heard a radio interview with Mr. Issak where he explained how this song came about. His girlfriend called and said that she needed to come over to his apartment and "talk. So in the 15 minutes between the phone call and her arrival at his apartment, he had written this song.
This song came out in 1989 my wife was pregnant with our first child I remember having this song on Cassette.I kept on playing over and over we laid on the bed together and fell asleep in each others arms. I remember that day like it was yesterday we’re still together Been married for 30 years we have three children and four grandchildren I don’t know where the time has gone . Don’t take it for granite be sure to tell the ones you love how you feel enjoy life don’t take it too serious.Simplicity is the key to happiness
So glad "this generation" has a chance to hear "Wicked Games" by Rick Isaak. It is a classic and if you never heard of Roy Orbison, you will hear the sound of a timeless era that was as naturally beautiful as its stories were pure of love. BTW, Empress, your name is fitting for the brilliance of your smile!
Simply haunting. I]'ll never forget the first time I saw that exquisite black and white video with Helena Christianson on MTV all those years ago. To see it now, live...and watch Empress - Joy's reaction. Wow...well done Chris and thanks E J-J
I drove 4 hours to see Chris in Canton Ohio three weeks ago and he did not disappoint me. If you get the chance buy his Greatest Hits cd it’s the best one.
ive never seen facial reactions better than the ones on this girl : ) so so expressive,, Expressive Impress : ) and shes right,, that melody is so so peaceful..
The cover arrangement by Ursine Vulpine featuring Annaca will forever be associated with these: , , and . The latter two being actual U.S. market commercials.
I think this song is about unrequited love. That's why it's called Wicked Game. The band members were singing "This world is only going to break your heart." white Chris sings "No, I don't wanna fall in love." because he doesn't want to be manipulated and be out of control. But you can tell that he can't help himself. Great reaction! Happy Holidays!
You are so pretty and well put together! Your channel popped up and so I had to subscribe because you were absolutely adorable reacting to this song. He is one of my all time favorite musicians. So happy I got to see him live finally a few years back. Even though he has aged quite a bit, he is still perfect! It’s really cool when people will step into what’s unknown and give other music a chance. A lot of people are stuck on one thing. So thanks for that dear! 😘 xo
My favorite song that showcase his wonderful voice and everything about his style, so control and the amazing clarity in his singing. The guitar and the rhythm just so outstanding different to all the bands in the past 30+ years.
Chris Isaak - Wicked Game Bought this album when it was released. Your face and eyes… Beautiful. Emotional overload! Yes, I'm crying 🥲 Your emotional perceptiveness is incredible. What a soul you are. The World is better because you are in it. Thank you. I’m a mess. I need a shot of tequila. You are a dream. ☮️❤️
This is maybe the 3rd video I've seen of this young lady reacting and... I have to say, I think I'm falling in love with her! Oh my goodness, such beauty, such emotion! (okay, deep breath...)
I said when you reacted to Diana Ankudinova's version of this that there was no denying her talent, but I preferred the original by Chris Isaak. I'm glad you reacted to it. Love your hair by the way.
i hate country but i loved this song the minute it came out... I love it.. still a tear jerker 34 years later. I still wipe a tear listening to it.... He turned into an actor.. Just a beautiful song. steven from Canada.
If you love what you just watched, kindly support me by SUBSCRIBING, LIKING & SHARING this video. Thanks😘

Definitely hear a good stereo version or the music video version.
Are you absolutely certain that you arent some kind of goddess?
Chris Isaak, one of the most underrated singers.
I totally agree with you. It is kind of sad that people only know him for this song because he has so many amazing songs but this one is very iconic. He is a great singer.
Agreed
Definitely
think he is well thought of, just didnt get on hairball radio
Legit.
Awesome song, yes Chris Isaak!!
Chris Isaak once quipped...."It's hard sometimes being a celebrity in music. There's times when girls won't quit knocking on your hotel room door in the middle of the night, and you have to get up and let them out......:)
Love that.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yup, he's very quick-witted, his live performances and interviews are full of humour, often of the self-deprecating kind.
girls? mhm, sure mr. isaak 😜😆
He's very entertaining to see in concert. Probably could have been a stand-up comic.
He is one of my favorites, and you are as beautiful as the song.
"Haunting" is the perfect one-word description.
Hit the golden buzzer for him my lovely
Some songs caress your cheek, some reach in and caress you soul
His voice is like liquid velvet. Sends chills up my spine.
Very beautiful comment..... Liquid velvet... It's so true..
The guitar sounds great too
One of the most ethereal melodies I've ever heard in music.
Like Wild Horses by the Sundays.
The official video for this song is one of the sexiest things you'll ever see.
Helena Christensen

Love starts with butterflies in the stomach, and ends with you drinking alone in the dark, listening to this song on repeat.
you are not wrong
I'll drink to that
Hahahahahaha
So true
You got that right!
This is by far one of the most beautiful songs ever written, and Mr. Isaak is one of the most criminally underrated singers ever. He just pours his emotion into the song, you can feel the pain someone did to him.
so true all of the above
I love Chris Isaak.
I've seen him live a few times, there wasn't a dry thigh in the house.
Hillarious 😎
Eeewwwwww
😂😂😂
Haha good one
😂😂😂
"Nobody loves no one." Best and most devastating end to a song.
rather final
It’s a double negative, so maybe it means everybody loves somebody? The tone certainly is mournful, great ending and ambiguous to me, which makes it even better!
Yes, it's the extreme devastation felt by someone who has been through such powerful unrequited love and been heartbroken, as if there's no love in the world that will be reciprocated.
One of the greatest songs ever written.
This song always makes me choke up....
this is one of those songs that you play on the way home when its late at night and the road is dark.
Right on! Top down on PCH or the 101 and nothing but stars...
@@stuckinmygarage6220awesome
Once
That guitar twang, that sound.. .
“The world will only break your heart “
This line is real.
Seen this man three times live.....fantastic live performer
The whole time I watched this video..I just repeated in my head.."Damn She's Pretty"..
and really high maintenance lol.
I agree, she sure is.
She really is. Pretty, I mean. I would not insult someone I don't know by calling them "high maintenance." That's just rude.
Never simp
Look at her being transported by this song! It's great to see.
I used to hate this song when I was a kid when it would come on MTV. Now nearly 40 this song really kind of tells my story of lost relationships and broken feelings. Timeless, personal, tragic, beautiful...
40 here and was so annoyed by it as a kid. They played it so often!
Best reaction to this song. Pure beauty
This song is beautiful, but it is also filled with pain and loss. For anyone who has ever had someone play games with your heart, or when you cared for someone only to never have it reciprocated...this is the song that embodies that feeling. Heartache.
haunting is the perfect world
Such a great singer, "Baby Did A Bad Thing", "Graduation Day", "Blue Hotel" & "Blue Spanish Sky"
are some other great tracks from him.
That's Baby Did a Bad Bad Thing.
Spanish song!!!!!!!
And "The New Girl".
Somebody's Crying
Wrong to Love You.
Such a great song, great performer.
Amazing voice, and the guitar chords on this song are just "Killa"....classic song, it never gets old....
100%
Brings me ta tears as well so. Your not alone!
song gives you chills...what a talent he is
Yes, he is soulful and sensual. Now you have to listen to "Baby did a bad thing" 😊. I loved your reaction. You felt those words and that melody.
His live concerts are amazing. He loves his work, and shows when you get to see him live.
The most sublime and romantic song ever.
Definitely my favorite Chris Isaak song. To me, the song is about unrequited love. You can just feel the pain and heartbreak. Anytime I've had a relationship go sour, I find myself drawn to this song. Helps me through it. One of my favorites.
His voice..hmmm😍
I love to see how just the music.....guitar line.......can make someone feel.
This song reminds me of simpler times
The best thing about this video (besides Empress's reaction) is that it's not just a live version, but it's an off-the-cuff studio sound check!! Just a brilliant version !!!
he's playing your heart strings
He sure is... Thanks dear @Dustin Jonhnson
Empress, your facial expressions and emotions make this worth a million dollars!!
@David Barker Thanks dear. A million dollars is soooooo much money 😀
You just keep that look, You look Gorgeous, ❤
There was a period of many years back in the day when this was my top favorite song, it had such a unique hypnotic sound to it that it stood out from any others.
I love playing this song in the girl that did the video is absolutely gorgeously beautiful
I heard a radio interview with Mr. Issak where he explained how this song came about. His girlfriend called and said that she needed to come over to his apartment and "talk. So in the 15 minutes between the phone call and her arrival at his apartment, he had written this song.
Best reaction ever !..loved it !
I love the music video released with this song. Those opening guitar phrases always sound so mystical to me. Haunting is the perfect word.
I try not to hear this song, breaks my heart every time. I still love her.
Songs like this are powerful if they can make one cry.
I remember when this song came out, I love this song and always have. It gives me goose bumps.
That strat riff with the tremelo and the notes being plucked is heavenly.
Amazing song 😊 And a beautiful lady 😉 xx
Smooth, melancholy and cooler than a deep frozen cucumber, sung as if his heart is broken and the band feel his pain...
Atmospheric. So real. Lovely reaction.

Do you like Orville Peck?
I've been listening to this song for years. You summed it up in a single word. Haunting. Bien fait.
This is a beautiful song. I love how much you "feel" the music. Great video.
I drove 4 hours to see Chris in Canton Ohio three weeks ago and he did not disappoint me. If you get the chance buy his Greatest Hits cd it’s the best one.

"Somebody's Crying" from this same set is just as amazing!
This is a song you listen to when you are heartbroken .
your reaction is priceless. I still cry when I hear this
"Mesmerizing" "hypnotizing" "haunting". Yep. I think you've hit every nail on the head. Beautiful. Thanks for posting such a beautiful reaction video.
This is one of those songs I never tire of hearing. Beautiful lyrics and vocals.

This is my favorite song. I dont even know how I found this reaction video of you, but I love how much you enjoyed it.
Listen to the studio version, if you get a chance. Haunting was the right word for this song.
Been in love with him ever since I heard this song when I was 11, 30 years ago.
@Jim lastname lmfao best reply ever. In the same boat😁😁😁 my daughter just turned 21. Where did the years go!!!!
@Jim lastname fellow Aussie 😄😄👋👋👋
He shows us the power of that 'cry' in his voice...it tears at the heart...
This song is about what a trap love is. You know you're gonna get your heart broken. But you can't resist.
That is a very accurate way to put it.
Great to watch her blushing.
Chris’s voice is holding up so well, especially in a live performance. You would have lost your mind if your reaction had been to the original video!
I love your reactions because you can’t hide your emotions. You are so real.
The OG vid is intoxicating. You simply get lost in it. Try it.
Just a beautiful Song! Haunting is right Empress Joy-Jean!!!!

I've always loved this song. I really appreciate how tenderhearted you are. You are kind and sweet.
Watching her reaction reminds me of the first time I heard this song when I was in college a million years ago.
Not everyone can make a guitar cry like that. Emotion through a guitar.
I'm starting to sound like a broken record, but I love your genuine reactions to songs like this. You're a gem!
Thank you 💕
