Watching your faces as Chris hit those high notes was perfection. Now watch the official video. Deliciously sensual and just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Yes, the Official is better sound quality but recently I was told that this studio version was the best, and after hearing it I'm forced to agree--it's miles above all of the others. Props to the sound engineer and all involved: ua-cam.com/video/mOjTweUPt3Q/v-deo.html
Chris has a stunning voice; everything he sings sounds like grammy winner. His live shows are to die for. He's so funny that if he hadn't become a singer/songwriter, he could have been a standup comedian. His singing is clean enough to reproduce his records on stage, so it sounds exactly like the record, though he sometimes chooses to do a song a little bit differently. For a completely different look at Chris, try Baby Did a Bad, Bad Thing. Chris never did a bad song, you can enjoy anything he's ever done.
This song won 3 MTV Video Music Awards for Best Cinematography (Official video), Best Male Video and Best Video in 1991. The Official video is very sensual with him and Supermodel Helena Christensen on the beach.
An all time favorite of mine. Love to see people experience this song. Bout a year os 2 ago, a young lady named Diana Ankudinova, performed "wicked games" on a singing competition show and 🤯. Extremely unique voice, and if you decide to check it out, YES! That is her voice. Consider reacting to it.
For as long as this song has been out , this is the first time I have heard it live and I am not disappointed. Off camera you should check out the original music video that he did. Great song 🎶
Chris Isaak is one of the goats of Rockabilly. He's just amazing. This song is brutally hot. It was on heavy rotation on MTV when it came out. He's got a fantastic catalog of music. This song, though, stands alone as his best.
Ooooh he is soooooo good!! Will always have a special place on my catalog, forever...the original video is pretty steamy with model Helena Christiansen!! 👍🏽❤
I have seen Chris Isaak live and it remains one of the best concerts of my life. He gives it all... he keeps going and going with the band afterwards and nobody wanted to leave. He and his band are tight, clean, and seem to be able to just fall into almost any song, originals or covers. This is a real artist here. I recommend, "Baby Did a Bad Bad Thing," "Somebody's Lyin;" "Heart-Shaped World," "Blue Spanish Sky" and heck, just pick anything he does and you won't be disappointed. Oh, I rarely like remakes as much as the original, but he did an awesome remake of Neil Diamond's Solitary Man.
Did he do the thing where he wears the super sparkling sequined suit with the spotlight on him and goes out among the crowd to sing? I think when he came out in the suit he said something like "the flashier the suit, the more white trash is the singer"
Isaak and his band give a great concert, incredible voices, musicians and fun rapport with the audience! HIGHLY recommend everyone see him in person in concert...
The chorus actually says “no I don’t wanna fall in love”. He’s afraid of getting his heart broken. You should check out the studio version and watch the official music video. This unplugged version is great but the original is even more haunting IMO.
The music video to this song is hands down one of the best MTV ever aired. I love Chris Isaak and I’ve seen him in concert, he pulled me on stage - lol.. The best version is still the video though. 😁❤️
What a reaction! What an underestimated singer! I am still melting every time I listen to that song! Chris isaak is for the heart and soul, ears and eyes 😉
This style of music was very popular in the 50's and early 60's, but it hadn't really been heard in several decades. It's rockabilly. I love this song, but Roy Orbison and Elvis Presley could have created this sound.
I'd been a fan of rockabilly (Elvis, Eddie Cochrane, Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison, etc.) for 2 decades before Chris Isaac's debut album... but none of them ever had the arrangement or production Chris Isaac's music did. He became so huge because he had something new to offer, not just redoing the past.
His original video for this song was pretty incredible too, but seeing him sing it live was amazing. What a talent. You really described that beautifully Mel, that is exactly how it makes me feel too.
I fell in love with this song & Chris Isaak's voice when this album first dropped and it remains on my all time favorites play list to this day. One of the sexiest songs ever! ❤️
that was worth the watch. Chris Iisaac played a role in Friends as one of Phoebe's crushes lol. The actual video for this song is groundbreaking and worth watching, in terms of artistic sensual expression.
David Lynch used this in his movie Wild at Heart it made this song famous and his career took off. David is very into music and works with many of the muscians. David did the Thriller intro with Michael Jackson. Also, is still doing work with Ringo Starr. He also writes his own musicDel
I moved to Arizona about 10 years ago, and i love just driving in the remote deserts and mountains while listening to this song. Great scenery for the tune.
His voice has so much depth to it and is almost haunting in this song. P.S. Mel, your hair looks fabulous. I'm loving the Bob on you. You're making me think it may be time to cut my long hair.
This 1 song made his entire career. And still puts food on his table today! Just goes to show you musicians out there what writing from the heart can do.
Combine Chris's country crooning abilities with a slow melody performed on a steel guitar and you capture a trillion hearts and sell a gazillion albums. I was 32 when this song was published and I can assure you I danced many a slow dance for years after.
The song that brought me to Chris Isaak was I Wonder from the 'Fools Rush In" soundtrack. I HAD to find it. But there was no soundtrack cd released for the movie. Soooo I bought several of his albums. It was also used in 'Tin Cup'.
One of my fave singers ,have seen him plenty of times in concert over the years .S&M definitely need to go to a show of his you will not be disappointed!!check out his sun records tribute album of 50s rock and roll covers
For 3 seasons, Chris had a sitcom that was a fictional look at his life. It was set in San Francisco where he lived at the time. It's kinda fun to watch.
Chris is also an actor. He was in Little Buddha (where he played Keanu Reeves's father), and Silence of the Lambs, among others. He and his band had a comic talk show on TV for a while. He has a sly sense of humor.
Chris Isaak was an Elvis impersonator, that is what most people thought when he first broke onto the scene with this song. His Elvis influence is very apparent to anyone that knows Elvis' catalog of music.
The official video is super sensual.
The guitar work sends me.
Chris Isaak is the best, every song he does is fantastic. Listen to Baby did a bad bad thing …..
Watching your faces as Chris hit those high notes was perfection. Now watch the official video. Deliciously sensual and just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Never heard this version
Thank you. It's more beautiful than the original 💃🌹❤️💃🌹❤️
Most haunting lovers song ever made
Chis Isaak is a genuine hidden gem of a singer/songwriter. His voice is simply incredible. I really wish he was more widely known and appreciated.

Yes to all this.
He did have a pretty funny show on TV a while back "The Chris Isaak Show".
So true! I have been disappointed at concerts where the guy or band sounded great on record, but couldn't do it like!
My wife would add, "He could have been a model, He's so dreamy"
@@stempo1 I dont think anyone here would argue with her.
honestly the live version of this is pretty amazing too.
Yeah, Chris Issac can sure sing, amazing voice, and I don't know to many women that don't melt into a little puddle when they listen to this.
I do, he melts my butter
This song won 3 MTV Video Music Awards for Best Cinematography (Official video), Best Male Video and Best Video in 1991. The Official video is very sensual with him and Supermodel Helena Christensen on the beach.
He’s incredible live but you have got to watch the music video.
It ranks right up there with the best. Great reaction!
One of the sexiest videos. Oh my!.. video.
If Roy Orbison and Elvis had a baby...
Never thought of that. But that's dead on!!
And now I can’t get that picture out of my head..😂
And he was nursed by Dolly Parton.
@@matbritton6816Lol!!!
@@matbritton6816I don't know...i think anybody nursed by dolly parton would never come up for air.
"Baby Did a Bad Bad Thing" should be next up!
Agreed 👍
🚨 The Official Music video of him singing this is WAY WAY better and sexier…along with the famous female model he sung to !
Portland Oregon USA 🇺🇸

Man, Chris is wickedly talented and wickedly gorgeous ❤💃🏼🔥
Ooooh he is soooooo good!!

You'll have to check out Chris' Baby Did A Bad Bad Thing next...🔥🔥🔥
Such a great song.
This song is stunning in every way. One of the greatest songs ever written.
Hi Shawn and Mel - He also has another song that's awesome. It's called Baby Did A Bad, Bad Thing. The title alone should make you curious...:)
I have seen Chris Isaak live and it remains one of the best concerts of my life. He gives it all... he keeps going and going with the band afterwards and nobody wanted to leave. Your comments are spot-on! Chris is probably the best singer I’ve ever seen live.
Did he do the thing where he wears the super sparkling sequined suit with the spotlight on him and goes out among the crowd to sing?
I think when he came out in the suit he said something like "the flashier the suit, the more white trash is the singer"
Hauntingly beautiful song.
One of my favorite songs of all time. But he's saying, "I don't wanna fall in love."
I thought he alternated - first saying 'I don't want to fall in love' then later saying ' I want to fall in love' ?
Spooky and sad sounding at the same time.
Isaak and his band give a great concert, incredible voices, musicians and fun rapport with the audience! HIGHLY recommend everyone see him in person in concert...
Agreed. I saw him in Montreal and he/they were great.
I have been waiting for Chris Isaak, please do more he is incredible his videos and live 💋💕💓
His voice is fire!!
You need to see the OG Video for this song.
Amazing song....you NEED to watch the video with this!
One of my very favorite songs ❤️
The music video is hottt 🔥🔥🔥
The original video is soooo hottt. Chris and supermodel Helena Christensen omgoddd.
Video is definitely sensual!! 🔥
I'm so glad you reacted to it live. The video is wonderful, but his voice is too stellar live.
This song is so beautiful and memorable 💖...love Chris Isaak's voice...reminiscent of the fantastic Roy Orbison ❤
The chorus actually says “no I don’t wanna fall in love”. He’s afraid of getting his heart broken. You should check out the studio version and watch the official music video. This unplugged version is great but the original is even more haunting IMO.
Great song when this came out I was going through everything he was saying -- it was a hard lesson to learn but SURVIVED IT ♥️
Me too. See comment above.
Haunting
My first time seeing this live version. Beautiful. Please check out the official video for this 🔥
"Somebody please give this guy a Grammy...he needs one now". Right?!
The original video is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Watch the video it’s a must
Multi-talented. Music, writer, actor and comedian. He was even in the Silence of the Lambs movie! 😉
The music video to this song is hands down one of the best MTV ever aired. I love Chris Isaak and I’ve seen him in concert, he pulled me on stage - lol.. The best version is still the video though. 😁❤️

Well they were his 2 main influences

He's almost certainly channeliing Presley by looks and style here.
Yes one of the epic songs of our time. Remember when I heard this song, for the first, so beautiful and haunting in a good way.
I'm
You know what? For a live performance, this is fantastic.
love starts with butterflies and ends with being alone in the dark drunk with this song on repeat
🤣 yes!!
Hahaha good onee 😂
I have his cd and I like every song on it.
Haunting / Chilling vocals with a twangy guitar hook .
Incidentally STILL holds true today .
He says "No one knows Nobody" at end
This song is hauntingly beautiful. It touches the heart.
His original video for this song was pretty incredible too, but seeing him sing it live was amazing. What a talent. You really described that beautifully Mel, that is exactly how it makes me feel too.

Thank you! I forgot how much I love his voice!
Shawn's facial expression reaction is making me teary eyed. Shawn is really feeling this.
Every time I hear this song I love it more. So glad you love it too!

For 3 seasons, Chris had a sitcom that was a fictional look at his life. It was set in San Francisco where he lived at the time. It's kinda fun to watch.
And he is absolutely gorgeous
Official video is beautiful...island guitar sound...beautiful
Goosebumps, had a CD of his, with uncharted songs and was my favourite. Going to try to download now. Happy Valentine's Day all 🇬🇧🤗
Hi, one of the most amazing songs ever writen....beautiful Love from Portugal.
Love starts with butterflies in your stomach, and ends in a dark room with a bottle of booze & this song on repeat.
I remember this song , I was so captivated by this song when I watching the video as a kid. It's one of my songs on my playlist. 😊
Chris is also an actor. He was in Little Buddha (where he played Keanu Reeves's father), and Silence of the Lambs, among others. He and his band had a comic talk show on TV for a while. He has a sly sense of humor.
And in "That Thing You Do"
Wow... didn't know he was an actor. What role did he play in Silence of the Lambs? (amazing movie)
@@rebeccasimantov5476 He was a cop.

Bought this album when it was released.
So enjoying watching you two dig it!
Makes me feel young again.
The official video is amazing. You must see it .
Beautiful Song. Should be a #1 Hit.
Chris Isaak was an Elvis impersonator, that is what most people thought when he first broke onto the scene with this song. His Elvis influence is very apparent to anyone that knows Elvis' catalog of music.
This girl is only gunna break your heart. Great lyrics.
Chris Isaak was born within a few days of me in 1956 and I've been a fan for years and years !
My adult crush ❣️😂😘💓✌️
The video is amazing, but so glad you watched him live❤❤❤ I'd climb him like a tree😂😂😂

I was sitting in a movie theater when this song came on during the film Wild at Heart. The next day I bought the Chris Isaak CD.
