Can you recognize a watercolor flower by its center? Let's paint a peony, poppy, anemone and dogwood! Of course flowers differ in the size and shape and color and even texture of their petals. But in my opinion, one of the most recognizable part of a floral tends to be its center. so we will paint for beautiful flowers together, adding texture and shadow to make them more three-dimensional.

Hey Tammy. Just a random question. Which is better to use tube watercolor or cake watercolor.? Do you have a pteference?

Great question! I started watercolor painting with tubes, then switched over to the pans because it definitely is easier. But, I like having a palette with a large mixing space and I don’t seem to find those in pans. Pans are more affordable upfront but if you purchase tubes, they will be more expensive but will have more paint for the dollar and last longer.
