I actually started off with mix media and art journaling first then ventured off with watercolour and the great thing about art is that is so versatile and you can create some amazing stuff with trying different mediums together ❤❤❤
A wonderful way to start my day with coffee and you showing me loose flowers, and multimedia. I forget to use my pastels! I will try this today! You always show me something new to think about and to try! Thanks, Karen Dirmish, learner 14:3514:35
3 years ago, all I wanted to learn was watercolor. In a heartbeat I was learning all about using all types of pens for mark making, watercolor pencils and wc brush pens, posca paints, acrylic paint pens and paints, gouache, inks etc. etc. etc. AMZ was constantly at my door LOL. All that to say I LOVE mixed media. However, I just don't have an interest in a medium like the pastels that I would have to keep wiping off my fingers as I have to attend to a household member regularly and that would be problematic, at least for now. Thanks so much for sharing this deeelightful piece of art.
I personally think mixes media is awesome! It’s art, who dictates how art should be made? If it’s joyful and educational to one’s artistic endeavour then why not? It’s art, I say why not?
Love this Tammy! Thanks for sharing! What do you use to keep the piece(s) from smudging onto other pieces of paper that might be in a sketch pad, etc? Also, I assume you used watercolor paper or did you mixed media paper and what brand? Many thanks!
As always your amazing and love your content ❤🎉🎉🎉❤
Thanks a ton, Kerri!

I just used watercolor paper. And there is a wax medium that you can buy to put over your pieces so they don’t smudge.
Love this! So pretty! Definitely going to have to try this!
Oh thank you so much! It was really fun to make.
I am so interested in mixed media for sure. This looks great! What fun.
Thanks for that! I don’t usually mix it up but this was really fun to do. Somehow I felt less pressure?
Superb beautiful 😍
Thank you so very much!
So amateurish , sorry. 🤷♀️
