This right here was why we all were fans of the guy. Did he win a hundred races and a bunch of titles no he didnt but it was the man behind the wheel that we all loved and cheered for. At his core hes one of us. He even said he just wanted to pay his bills. He may not be around anymore but Dale Jr will always be the man.

It wasn’t just NASCAR it was almost all motorsports. I remember watching AMA Superbikes, Motocross, Supercross, USAC SilverCrown, IMSA and so many more and then one year just nothing but talk shows about Football, Basketball and Baseball. I don’t forgive ESPN or NASCAR but hey maybe one day. We still have ABC

@@rcracer8872 Great gets thrown around way too much. Even he would tell you he probably doesn’t fit that description. Very good driver, especially at Dega and Daytona, but always had the best equipment and support staff as well. I don’t think he fits in the great category, I reserve that for his Dad, King Richard, Pearson, Andretti, Foyt, and a very few others. But he doesn’t need to be. Down to Earth, humble, and very self aware of his own limitations. He’s the definition of a “Man’s Man”. 👍
