- Charlotte, NC (Cot 2017) Dream Kid Bryson, from Rutherfordton, NC, experienced the surprise of a lifetime when he spent time with his hero, Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Bryson was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 9 months and battles every day to overcome the side effects of the exhausting and unpredictable seizures. Despite his condition, Bryson is a positive young man with a big personality. His favorite things to do are ride motocross and watch NASCAR. He says he "loves high speeds, the roar of engines, and the thrill of victory!"

I'm an Aussie and don't know much about Nascar but what I have learned so far is that the drivers/teams do a lot for kids. Just gold.

Dale Earnhardt Jr is one of the most nicest drivers you'll ever meet. Back in 2012 I won a sweepstakes through Wrangler jeans to have a meet and greet session with him and his brother, and 3 laps riding shotgun with him driving 180MPH at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Junior has been my Idol from the first time I watched him race. I used to go to as many races as I could afford to just to watch Junior. I always wished for a best friend to hang around like Jr. but maybe in my next life. Dale Jr is an amazing person with a heart of gold. God speed my friend! Thanks for being YOU!

Nascar is the most fan friendly sport in the country. Nascar treats the fans well with drivers being accessible and allowing fans on pit road and in the garage area. You are guaranteed to become a fan if you attend a race.

I just gave my thumbs up to this heartwarming story I looked over and saw that 11 people disliked it I'm giving my thumbs down award to those 11 people doesn't matter if you like junior or not it's about a sick little kid and making his day pay attention people the world needs this kind of thing.

His accent is very similar to Junior's, and I should know 'cause I'm from North Carolina too. I wish I was back there too so I'd be around people who talk normally instead of this central Florida gibberish! Also, is it just me or does Bryson look like a young Cole Custer?

After 50 yrs of trying to get any autograph of any driver...I gave up...on all of it...no more. No more watching. No more swag..sold all of it for garage prices.
