Alfetta another Planet!
Een paar foutjes: Het eerste type E12 is nooit af fabriek geleverd met een 5-bak. Pas met de introductie van de 528i werd een 5-bak leverbaar, standaard op de 528i. Het eerste type E12 518 is evenmin leverbaar geweest met een injectie-motor, deze keuze bestond alleen bij de (4 cylinder) 520.
No other family sedan was ever engineered like the Alfetta. And nothing has been made since. Back then my 3rd Alfetta had VVTi. Think how far ahead of the market it still is.

De overdrive 5-bakken kwamen pas per September 1979 als optie ter beschikking.
Altijd een e12 met een 6 in lijn uitkiezen, 4 cilinders zijn toch wat iel voor zo'n relatief grote sedan.

Ne ho possedute due, la 1.6 e la 1.8 ultima serie. Automobili con anima corsaiola dentro e tenuta di strada impeccabili ( con pneumatici ottimi s'intende). W l'Alfa di una volta!!

For the Alfetta it seems like a first series, so-called narrow shield, given for example the external door handles, but the front shield seems wide to me. I err?

ma l'alfetta 1.8 i 180 li faceva in quarta marcia. aveva un cambio abbastanza lungo, un po lenta sotto, ma agli alti faceva paura. di velocità max minimo i 195 li faceva. io l'ho avuta, il modello del '74 prima di questa in video. ma quali 180 velocità max.......
Heb een BMW 518 uit 1975 gehad. Een fijne auto. Niet bijzonder snel maar wel heerlijk om te rijden.

We had two Alfettas when I was growing up. A blue one and a red one. They were great. But they rusted badly

Beide auto’s veel gereden. BMW biedt meer ruimte en comfort, superfijne auto. De Alfa is strakker maar ook een stuk lichter. Engineering van beide auto’s is mooi, de Alfa wel geavanceerder met de transaxle, daarom ligt ie ook een stuk strakker en veiliger.

Io sono alfista da sempre l unico tallone erano i lamiera ti io ne ho ancora una e sana ma ho tribolato a trovarla così x il resto magica alfa.
Forse Bmw meglio come comfort e sicurezza passiva in caso di incidente (forse), ma Alfa sicuramente meglio per frenata, tenuta, stabilità, accelerazione, ripresa, velocità e rispetto alla Bmw anche meglio come consumi.
Su cambio e sterzo non saprei: il cambio Alfetta non è mai stato famoso per manovrabilità. E lo sterzo forse sulla 518 era servoassistito...

My Holländisch friend, you forget to say that this 1978 Alfetta was projected in the early 60's, ans lasted till early 80's in Italy longer. The "Fahrwerk" of the BMW is a joke compared to the Alfa, you call it comfort, but drive 50 km/h in 5th gear with Alfa and BMW, there you see Fahrwerk and engine are 10 years ahead of BMW, even the BMW was projected over 10 years later. A 5er BMW you must compare more to a Berlina, vs. ALFETTA IT IS A CAR FOR OLD MEN. COMFORT YOU SAID IT, THE German Car Mafia Carell was always the biggest liar in car world till today, but the big sheep hordes believes all because they don't know about cars. `72 mijn eerste auto en een vriend had een BMW 1602 vond het niet fijn rijden bokkerig ed.

Le alfa romeo di allora erano delle vere auto, poi dopo l'alfetta hanno cominciato a perdere colpi. Un vero disastro fu l'ultima ammiraglia di Alfa Romeo, l'alfa 6 fu davvero una pessima auto, arretrata tecnologicamente, poi il passaggio in Fiat ne ha letteralmente distrutto la sua entità. Ti ricordo che l'Alfa Romeo era un marchio di proprietà dello stato, poi il comunista "Romano Prodi" all'epoca al vertice dell'Iri la regalò alla FIAT...
Non esiste più un alfa romeo dagli anni 80, quello che vedi oggi è solo una rimarchiatura di carrette Fiat, completamente snaturata, la Giulia ha solo la trazione posteriore, ma è totalmente svantaggiata con i tedeschi.. è inutile che metti un motore di origine Ferrari su una Fiat; ma chi la compra un auto cosi??
Non hanno un 2.0 benzina in linea con quello che chiede il mercato più profittevole. Poi gli italiani che facevano e progettavano auto italiane; oggi sono finiti per fare da camerieri ai tedeschi che lavorano in Italia.. il capo di Alfa Romeo è un tedesco... questo la dice lunga...

La bmv faceva cagare le alte vincevano su tutti i livelli ,se non mettevo o la tecnologia di antislittamento la bmv faceva una brutta fine insieme alla Mercedes io avevo una alletta dell 1983 un mio amico aveva una bmv de 1982 una 318 i voleva fare la curva come la facevo io in velocità ,non vi dico come è andata x la bmv ,quindi prima di parlare a vanvera leggete la storia dei due marchio
