I think these endings are such a letdown. Not only do they not show what happened to each faction, like the previous Fallouts did, but they're basically all the same.
Zero Fox Given it’s late here let me try to give you different ending. The Minutemen ending: As I pressed the button, the heat reminded me when the bombs fell, the day I lost everything. I thought I could get Shaun and make it normal again. But the future could in instance wether you’re prepared or not. Even though it wasn’t the future I wanted but still I helped people in need(cutscenes of side quest from settlements and other people) and there were people who had my back at all times (flashbacks of all companions). (Cutscenes of minutemen) I joined the people who protected others, who cared about others, who truly wanted best of humanity in exchange for nothing. I have lead them to become the dominant force of the commonwealth,my home that I swore to protect and all of them are my family now and I shall protect them to the end. Railroad road ending: As I saw the explosions, the heat reminded me of the past when things were perfect. I thought I could reverse it just by getting back Shaun, but I lost him. Like everything. But I seen that others are suffering wether there were humans or not I still decided to help. The commonwealth may not be what it used to be but it will be a lot safer now. The Brotherhood of Steal: The heat and radiation from explosions reminded me of the old days. How I missed them but I knew I had go forward. As I wondered throughout the wasteland I met the people who thought only of the future what is truly good for mankind and I lend my gun to fight with them;as brothers and sisters. I knew I was fighting against my son but I had to do whats best for everyone, for the commonwealth. The institute ending: I still lost Shaun. Thought I could finally get things back to normal but everything changed,it’s not what it used to be. But I will guide my sons legacy for best of humanity whatever it will cost.

Such a disappointing end cut scene. First time finishing the game and my jaw dropped, thinking, was this really it?! Not to mention the fact that all of the cut scene have half the same material as all the rest.
One day, a man approached me and asked me to grow a new world. I sowed the seeds I was given, and tilled as hard as I could. The crops grow quickly and bravely, but like every other fruit this earth yields, they are leathery and misshapen, half-dead, tasting faintly of poisons I cannot find names for. Sometimes they whisper to one another in fear, and ask me if I will destroy the demon-child that threatens their lives. One day, a man approached me and asked me to stand guard over the old world. He shone as bright as an angel, stood as tall as a giant, and promised I would be as mighty as he. I almost knelt before him, but then I saw the footprints left by his brothers and sisters, ever smoldering and reeking of blood and ash. He told me of the demon-child that he sought to exterminate, but I was not listening; I was looking at the evil seeds that took root in his every track. One day, a woman approached me and asked me to set the world free. Her friends surrounded me and took me in their embrace, their eyes ablaze with a fire I had not seen since the world was snuffed out. With their hands on my shoulders and my heart and my wrists and my mouth, they promised me I would be doing the right thing when I slew the demon-child that threatened the freedom of all men. I asked the woman what would happen after I had broken every man's chains; she smiled reassuringly and covered up my mouth again. One day, a dying man approached me and asked me to raise his son. It was little more than an infant, but he showed me in its cradle, new, healthy, and beautiful. It was a special child, he told me, a mighty one that would one day grow to rule the world. It opened its eyes and smiled at me lovingly, and told me it was hungry for blood, for slaves, for power. I almost recoiled, but I saw the innocence in its eyes, and I knew what its little heart really needed. As I knelt and took the infant into my arms, I heard the earth roar with indignation beneath me. I felt a chill down my spine, for I knew what I needed to do to protect my child - and I hoped it would never find out.
Nathaniel Krinock I got the Shaun Synth even tho I didn't believe in the Institutes cause I still got the Shaun synth I was originally I was with the Minute men but soon I joined the brotherhood of steel only to kill maxon then to join the minute men again My time playing the game was just wow
Nathaniel Krinock ,if it makes you feel any better Shaun is a piece of shit, he said his mother was collateral damage when hearing Kellog killed her and he doesn't care about his father. He said that he released him only to see what would happen and didn't even expect him to survive. He could've helped if he wanted.
Say what you want about Fallout 4, but the second half of the story really delivered. It delivered an emotional gut punch that both previous games failed to deliver. While I liked New Vegas and it's story, and I liked the options it gave, but I felt so... Detached from the mojave because I never really cared about the consequences of the end. I cared what happened at the end of Fallout 4, the consequences, the reactions. What will my actions do to the people I know? I never felt this with Either 3 or NV. People bitch too much about 4. It has its flaws, sure, but it had so much good.
In my gameplay I was with the brotherhood first before continuing with the mission I visited father and since he didn’t wanted me I put him out of his misery took his weapon and clothing and put it up in my room in sanctuary in shaun’s room I displayed it so when I enter I could remember him
Just another reason why New Vegas is a superior game. That game had endings that reminded you of decisions and actions you made long before the end. It showed you the future of those who had met the Courier. In Fallout 4, you basically get two different endings and it never tells you what happened to all the factions and companions.
I completely agree. The same for fallout 3 tbh. The endings are too simplistic and inconsequential for them to mean anything. This game pretty much gutted the endings and the choices.
@@reganbrannigan3006 I haven't played outer worlds, but I think i'll give it a shot someday. I just love the open-endedness of New Vegas's story and endings. it's so intricate, you know? Lots of thought is put into the choices the player makes.
Can somebody please explain to me what happend to the ending, I mean in Fallout nv you had 4 or more endings for each faction even some I did'nt expect, the misfits for example (and a epic slideshow). And here all of the endings are almost identical. What the hell happend ?
New Vegas was developed by Obsidian, or more specifically, the team who created the original Fallout games. 4 was created by Bethesda and their game studio. Both teams have different methods of game design, different approaches. Bethesda is excellent (most of the time) in terms of world design and environmental design, but are absolute trash in terms of story writing and characterization.
and once you've completed a game with multiple endings, grab yourself a drink, sit back and watch all possible endings on UA-cam :p Did I make the right choices, should I have picked different options, am I satisfied with my personal outcome? Always very interesting :D Institute ending on pc here btw, reply with your ending (y)
Rail Road ending screw those genocidal bigots except Paladin Danse and scribe Haylin I felt bad they got in my way. GOt a peaceful minutemen ending my next playthrough.
wow. i wish there was an ending that when you take over the institute you could put an end to synths, and use the resources of the institute to restore the world, and collaborate with all; the railroad, the brotherhood, and the minutemen, and the be able to all fight against the remaining threats in the commonwealth. Ill be honest the first play through I sided with the institute because they did have the best potential at saving human life. But of course the synths gotta go. and yes the institute synths become known to the public and accepted into society, but i hated that i had to kill the brother hood, and kill the railroad. Shitty ending. Kinda feels like bethesda wants you to feel bad either way you look at it. Because if you kill the institute then you destory mankinds best shot of rebuilding society. But if you destory the BOS and railroad then you just kill innocent people who wanted to restore the world also.
MrBroxMan, I did that on my first play through. I gotta say, I was honestly a little disappointed with the way this game ends and how short it was compared to the previous installments of the Fallout series. But the graphics and gameplay are 10/10 in my opinion. Plus the weapon mods, power armor, scrapping random shit to use for building everything else, so on and so forth really made this game enjoyable. Just the main story line and ending was kinda meh.
I had choosen institute ending, ans I think it's the best because Shaun can remain as a nice memory, and I don't feel bad for annihilating the BOS and the Railroad, BOS looked a bit evil and foolish, and Desdemona had the most bullshit... Now minuteman and Institute are working together 😁
Dakota Sumor sadly it's only implied, and never actually put into place as a gameplay element. so much lost potential hopefully they can fix it next game
man if i had to make endings. "the lone wander. From every event was fear and death. he looked the road in front of him. then build his own. Preston: after the wander saved the settlers in concord he joined the Minutemen and became the general. After a while, we retook the castle and continued to help and recruit settlements. the wander rebuilt the broken power. dogmeat:(bark) (bark!) after meeting dogmeat the two of them were together hunting Kellogg.codsworth:after the bombs fell i tried to look back the past. but sir it's still hard to accept it. curie:after being freed from vault 81 i continued to work with the wanderer and perhaps, vault 81 resident's will come out. Paladin danse:after the wanderer became leader of the institute, our mission became clear to destroy the insitute and kill their leader. but we lost, so did the fortress in the sky. Deacon: it was only a matter of time before he would attack. when the insitue attack the railroads HQ it was over. bunker hill and Randolph safe house will be gone too. Macready: after the wanderer hired me to me his guard it turns out it was a favor. We killed the two gunners that was a annoyance to me and, everything felt easy. cait:after that guy stirred some trouble with the combat zone,my boss dandy seemed realeved. After a small adventure with him we went to vault 81 and cured my phyco problem.guess that was dandy's plan all along. piper: after blue sided with the institute. mayor mcdough turned out to be a synth.he was dead on the spot. and the bogeyman of diamond city still roam. nick Valentinem: after helping the wanderer with his investigation with Kellogg he killed the basterd. but i still have a few enimes left. like the stranger. handcock:after siding with the insitute the goodneighbor got a watchful eye on the wanderer. Especially me traveling with him. sentrybot: after a successful flight with the u.s.s constitution me made it suitable place on top of this tower. but soon in a few years we will be sea worthy! Strong: after strong agreed to travel with human to find milk of kindness. we still Search it. Virgil:after the Wanderer successfuly grab the F.E.V virus.i injected into me making me normal. after realizing he was the institute leader ill probably leave this cave and start anew. cabot: after dealing with lenorezo i gave the wandere a artifact gun. with no vials of the serum left or no way to extract more it was only a matter of time,a matter of time. paladin brandis:after the wanderer manage to locate my team i reward him with ever he wanted. after seeing the prydwen crash i felt desmay again ready to end it all. and that was the wanderer story. what he did change our story forever. Except war, because war never changes
Shawn: Thank you, Father. You're helped a boy achieve his dream Me: 🥺 Ad plays: NOW I CAN SHOW YOU HOW I JUMP!! Me: AAAAHHHHH The ad plays fuckin loud at the wrong timing :p
Everyone complaining that the end cutscenes are similar. Unlike fallout 3& NV, fallout 4 was designed from the start to continue after the main story. Plus the ending can change after. I chose the brotherhood ending, then turned on them and destroyed their airship at the castle. So the ending wouldn't work as it isn't definitive
I just finished my first playthrough and went for The Railroad ending like 6 hours ago. I told Shaun I’d see him in hell. Watching this made me tear up. I wish it could have been different.
One of the main reasons I actually hate Fallout 4 (although I still played over 200+ hours of it) - is this. The endings First of all, not using Ron Perlman is just a crime of massive proportions, that man's voice is part of Fallout as are ghouls, Super Mutants, BoS, and PipBoy. Secondly, it was great in F3 and FNV to learn what happened to different locations, factions, characters, and your own companions AND the whole of Wasteland, and how your actions mattered. We just got a generic ending - the Institute and "no-Institute" one. Or imagine if you romanced one of the companions and then it showed you had a kid? Like you had a second chance at normal family again? BETHESDA MUST FIRE THEIR WRITERS
Is there a way to not side with the institute and not have to kill Shawn at the end (just let him die naturally). Adopt the robot Shawn. Convince the institute drs to come to the common Wealth (seriously we could use those drs). Blow up the institute, and not feel completely bad about your choice in the game?
I butchered everyone, my name was Chaos Incarnate, so my "son's" fate was sealed long before i ever met him again. I dont remember how but i killed a few npcs and didnt think any of it when like 5 quest turned up failed. I "cleaned" up the brotherhood, then took out the fools in the sewers for crimes against The Crown. Nick abandoned me meaning he needed to be terminated as well. Preston was the only survivor as you can not kill him. No cut scene for me, but i brought order thru chaos
Yeah u can play on your save after, though there wont be other guests maybe dlc guest or minutemen settlement ones or bos crew guests or railroad guests or just creation club ones hope this helped
@@Navyairkidhey also the minutemen get a guest to blow up the prydwen and the castle get attacked by bos soldiers but first you need to build 4 artilleries at different settlements and i doesnt matter if it doesnt face the prydwen or if they are far + you need to be tuned to radio freedom and speak to the radio operator
And the bos will destroy the railroad afterwards (return to prydwen, speak to captain kells and theres the guest, then you need to kill all railroad soldiers including desdemona, etc and running a programe on pams terminal that is a holotape you get from the guest at the start proctor ingram gives it to you, and you get into the hq by blowing the main door up, there will be an explosive planted there, (if you havent gotten into railroad the code is: rail road)

@@waffentagere1009 Bethesda Fallout 2?
The first time Shaun scolded me for betraying him I got super depressed
Ya same I was like what have I done
I never hated him poor bastard was made into that
Say what you want about Fallout 4, but the second half of the story really delivered.
I disagree from what you just said
In my gameplay I was with the brotherhood first before continuing with the mission I visited father and since he didn’t wanted me I put him out of his misery took his weapon and clothing and put it up in my room in sanctuary in shaun’s room I displayed it so when I enter I could remember him
Man’s got the entire Joestar bloodline wreaking havoc on the wasteland
Shut up
Nice frame drop when talking to Shaun during the railroad ending xD
Just another reason why New Vegas is a superior game. That game had endings that reminded you of decisions and actions you made long before the end. It showed you the future of those who had met the Courier. In Fallout 4, you basically get two different endings and it never tells you what happened to all the factions and companions.
I completely agree. The same for fallout 3 tbh. The endings are too simplistic and inconsequential for them to mean anything. This game pretty much gutted the endings and the choices.
@@ryantabor9582Obsidian does endings so well in their games. The ending to the Outer Worlds was great too. Very New Vegas esque
@@reganbrannigan3006 I haven't played outer worlds, but I think i'll give it a shot someday. I just love the open-endedness of New Vegas's story and endings. it's so intricate, you know? Lots of thought is put into the choices the player makes.
I nearly cried the first time I played through and found out Shaun was older than his dad then dies later on... It's really heart breaking
Yeah it’s sad
the only one that is unique is The Institute ending. Then the other three endings are just copy pasted
I had to use max sound and its not even hearable like that
Can somebody please explain to me what happend to the ending, I mean in Fallout nv you had 4 or more endings for each faction even some I did'nt expect, the misfits for example (and a epic slideshow).
Fallout 3 was made by Bethesda and they had a similar ending style to nv. Fallout 4 wasnt very strong story wise
I've always got bit of nastolgia watching the Institute ending and the chill I got when he said "Shaun has died"
and once you've completed a game with multiple endings, grab yourself a drink, sit back and watch all possible endings on UA-cam :p
Did I make the right choices, should I have picked different options, am I satisfied with my personal outcome? Always very interesting :D
Institute ending on pc here btw, reply with your ending (y)
Minutemen ending here
For the Brotherhood of Steel.
Ad Victoriam
Staff Sargent, is that even possible? I mean, how could everyone of them coexist?
Rail Road ending screw those genocidal bigots except Paladin Danse and scribe Haylin I felt bad they got in my way. GOt a peaceful minutemen ending my next playthrough.
Institute ending, XBone. My tears are crying.
wow. i wish there was an ending that when you take over the institute you could put an end to synths, and use the resources of the institute to restore the world, and collaborate with all; the railroad, the brotherhood, and the minutemen, and the be able to all fight against the remaining threats in the commonwealth.
In my first play through, i went with the institute lol. on my second, i shot Shaun the first time i met him then shot everyone else lol
MrBroxMan,
I did that on my first play through.
Have you killed all of diamond city
@Mr.Springtrap i know it's just something that happened
7:36 Trevor what are you doing? XD
In my longest playthrough I got endless black screen instead of ending. Bethesda really never changes
Right after the first ending, an ad appeared going “AT BEEEEEE-KAY HAVE IT YOUR WAY”
I had choosen institute ending, ans I think it's the best because Shaun can remain as a nice memory, and I don't feel bad for annihilating the BOS and the Railroad, BOS looked a bit evil and foolish, and Desdemona had the most bullshit... Now minuteman and Institute are working together 😁
Good choice
Yeah it's only logical.
That's the one I end up going with every time. The BOS are the real evil in every Fallout.
The institute ending is the best ending
It would be if u could actually do something as leader afterwards
Dakota Sumor sadly it's only implied, and never actually put into place as a gameplay element. so much lost potential hopefully they can fix it next game
“Alright. You can come with me.” “Really? Do you mean it?” “On second thought...”
My ending crashes on a grey screen in the first frame of the cutscene.
_Because war, never changes._
man if i had to make endings.
Every time I see the fallout 4 end cutscene I feel like I’m on the brink of tears
Hey guys you know what "war never change s"
Shawn: Thank you, Father. You're helped a boy achieve his dream
Me: 🥺
Ad plays: NOW I CAN SHOW YOU HOW I JUMP!!
Me: AAAAHHHHH
The ad plays fuckin loud at the wrong timing :p
Meanwhile Fallout New Vegas
*"Lol you need 17 minutes for all ending? I only need 15 minutes for each ending"*
Don't take this seriously pls
*takes it seriously*
@@redneckjenkins9527 *//You have gained Evil Karma*
Everyone complaining that the end cutscenes are similar. Unlike fallout 3& NV, fallout 4 was designed from the start to continue after the main story. Plus the ending can change after. I chose the brotherhood ending, then turned on them and destroyed their airship at the castle. So the ending wouldn't work as it isn't definitive
Am i the only one who almost cried a little because of the institute ending
I just finished my first playthrough and went for The Railroad ending like 6 hours ago. I told Shaun I’d see him in hell. Watching this made me tear up. I wish it could have been different.
Yes
All the endings.
All one of them.
Meanwhile the gunners and raiders next to the C.I.T ruins:
So is it better to go with the Institute or others. Also does the nuke kill everyone else?
-I dont want to set the world on fireeee.
All endings: nuke commonwealth again but ally with different faction 😐
Why is everyone nukeing the Institute instead of using it as a shelter or outpost or whatever??
Every other ending: It’s the end of the world... all over again...
The institute ending: *I’vE LOsT ShAWn ALl ovEr AGaIn*
The institute ending is the best one
Leonardo Cadena they are all identical
*Jesse Gordon* Except for the one where Shaun dies
It’s a trip how saun is old af but you still older than him😂
You character looks like Michael from Vsauce.
One of the main reasons I actually hate Fallout 4 (although I still played over 200+ hours of it) - is this. The endings
First of all, not using Ron Perlman is just a crime of massive proportions, that man's voice is part of Fallout as are ghouls, Super Mutants, BoS, and PipBoy.
Remember, settlements always need your help.
So the ending is the same with minor differences?
Who is the real Shaun?
LORD NERD The old one that died
Your mom
Who's here after Fallout live action?
Is father really Shuan or no
I got the definitive Minutmen ending which all factions gucci with you
Me too
holy shit joshuag from 6 years ago was right, the ending never changes.
Truly one of the endings of all time., It just works.
Is there a way to not side with the institute and not have to kill Shawn at the end (just let him die naturally). Adopt the robot Shawn. Convince the institute drs to come to the common Wealth (seriously we could use those drs). Blow up the institute, and not feel completely bad about your choice in the game?
No
@@Shutcat99 darn
@@eburel506 sorry but you can keep shaun the real one alive till you explode the institue
the best ending is the institute one, no one can change my mind
I butchered everyone, my name was Chaos Incarnate, so my "son's" fate was sealed long before i ever met him again. I dont remember how but i killed a few npcs and didnt think any of it when like 5 quest turned up failed. I "cleaned" up the brotherhood, then took out the fools in the sewers for crimes against The Crown. Nick abandoned me meaning he needed to be terminated as well. Preston was the only survivor as you can not kill him. No cut scene for me, but i brought order thru chaos
I am glad to be sided with the institute.
Am I still alive after it? Can I play more? Or does it just delete my save
Yeah u can play on your save after, though there wont be other guests maybe dlc guest or minutemen settlement ones or bos crew guests or railroad guests or just creation club ones hope this helped
@@Shutcat99 thank youu
@@Navyairkid no problem i like helping people
@@Navyairkidhey also the minutemen get a guest to blow up the prydwen and the castle get attacked by bos soldiers but first you need to build 4 artilleries at different settlements and i doesnt matter if it doesnt face the prydwen or if they are far + you need to be tuned to radio freedom and speak to the radio operator
A wise man once said (war never changes)
-sole survivor
Why does it say that shaun is the father isn't he the son?
Probably because everybody who lives where Shaun is calls him father or sum idk I haven't beat the game yet
Its cause the dna from him ( the reason he got taken from you) was perfect and they made copyes of it and thus synths
This games endings are beautiful. If you nuke the institute with Piper and then talk to her after the cutscene, you will share a beautiful moment together
what beaty fun ending?
An ending for a game that established pathos and existentialist malaise throughout it's plot... unlike the actual game it's attached to.
at the same time you pressed the detonation button, Classic Radio lost it's signal. F
i was a bit confused on if i beat it or not because the lack of end credits. I loved the ending though, a touching moment between you and Shaun.
Preston Preston never changes sometimes in your dreams you just hear that another settlement needs your help yet this is the world you find yourself in it’s your home now
But... When you finish the game you can freeroam and break balls to all?
How hard could and ending slideshow possibly be?
Who else thinks lone wanderer is in the fallout 4 picture? (I mean this vid thumbnail)
Can you turn the volume down more? I can almost hear what they're saying
its all the same ending what happened to everyone you don't find out at lest in fallout new Vegas the different missions different ending and and unlock bonus clips for side quests
Heisenberg, is that you?
In the fallout universe if the everyone dies and one person survives dogmeat and that surviver is all we need
What about destroying the brotherhood?
What's the last faction you showed
The railroad?
I think my mods did it beacuse every time i blow up the institute my game crashes so i have to skip the cutscene so it doesnt crash
