    When putting my kit on I was torquing the bolts to the 56nm had the torque wrench set to 41.3 ft-lb and 2/3 bolts snapped right in the middle same spot in both

      That’s crazy. I’ve had mine snap too but that’s usually because they were weakened from stress if they were over-tightened before.

      @@NoClutchGarageI found out it’s because if you have the m8 bolts it’s only 30nm not the 56 but if you have the m10 it’s 56

      ah, that’s crazy I’ve never seen the M8s use there before!

      Also, always replace stretch bolts once removed.

    when you add the catch can , is it normal for it to smoke a little bit out of the top of the catch can?

    Hi LJ , at 9:55 you push the braided hose elbow into the manifold. My stock setup has a heat shielded breather hose from that manifold down to turbo inlet pipe. What should I do with that stock breather hose? Thanks

      You meant to say the Valve Cover. Yeah so this kit effectively forces you to delete that system. There are a few ways you can go about it.
      1. You can delete the line altogether and via custom tune you can have the code that will trigger when the heater attached at the end of that hose is unplugged removed, and that will be the end of that. Then you will need to plug the intake pipe where the hose used to plug into with a heavy duty rubber cap and a clamp.
      2. You can remove the hose only and leave that end piece (heater) plugged in and supported somehow (I have done this temporarily, so I know it works) and then cap your intake pipe with a rubber cap and clamp.
      In either case you either need to plug that inlet or get another inlet that deletes that hole altogether. At the moment I have deleted the system altogether and I don’t have to bother with any of it.

      @@NoClutchGarage thank you , I just realised the kit has a silicon plug to cap the oem hose, held in by vacuum but feels a bit loose. I think I’ll remove the hose and cap it somehow down at the turbo intake pipe

      @747Richie Those work but they will wear over time sometimes. If you message me on instagram I can send you a link for a better one you can use!

    What about the other end of the breather hose? What do I do with the OEM one?

    Would this still fit with a top mount turbo?

      @NoClutchGarage  Рік тому

      This particular configuration is specidic to BigBoost kits, other configurations can accomodate top mount turbo kits
