The Linga Longa at Gundy is a great pub with great food. Just be weary on Sundays as they charge a 10% surcharge on everything. It cost me $40 for a beer and steak sandwich there one day. It could also be on Saturdays too.Oh and they're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays
Thanks, good info. We were there on a Thursday. There’s lots of places charging Sunday surcharges these days - we don’t mind if it’s remote and it helps them stay open.
Great video -thanks for putting it together.. Is there any chance you could also share an actual route map that we can use to base our own journeys on?
The GPX file is in our RideDay Dropbox. It’s in the Gloucester-Oxley folder. www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/cgdzmchhw36eraajm75ge/h?rlkey=hzm1jq2aqvb11ce9ytl7azpl1&st=dhn700z0&dl=0
@@rideday01 I've only been there (Grey Gums) once, when I camped overnight. circa 2018 I think. The best apple pie I've ever had. Maybe I'll ring Kim and ask if it's still on the menu. Coffs Harbour is a little too far these days for me to just 'pop over' and ask!. 😇
Thank you for actually stating the roads you are using. Not many others do.
Thanks. It's info we always look for when planning a route so hope that it helps others. 👍
Fantastic... Thank you.
Thanks for watching.
Thanks for posting this mate, I enjoyed watching it

The Allan bridge crosses the Pages river, a short distance from where it joins the Hunter river.
Thanks. It was the first time we crossed that way so it was a pleasant surprise. 👍

@@rideday01 Awesome. Many thanks.
Loving your rides. On Putty Rd do you stop at Grey Gums for a break?. They used to have the most amazing Homemade Apple Pie. Yum !! 🤠👋🏍
We mostly stop at Grey Gums, did on the way home but didn’t on this ride - they were closed (Thursday morning). Haven’t had their Apple Pie! ☹️
