Wow good info. Thanks everyday is an opportunity to learn something new. There is a saying I like. " Don't limit your challenges, challenge your limits. I try to live by this daily. Awesome job once again.
Float is handy in certain situations. Those wood chips would be nice to have around for muddy spots! When we had a sawmill I used the sawdust to cover areas where the mud was getting bad. Be safe!
Hi Phil! Yep, the FEL float function is great, but it takes a little practice to be effective with it for the reasons you said. Thanks for sharing some good info!
My family likes to give me a hard time for always reading the manual - theses are the kinds of things that make them worth reading! Cheers, hope you all have a great summer.
Thanks for the tip Phil this is something I knew about and have actually have put my loader in the float position. I have never used it though, but maybe I will remember now for future use. Take care brother.
Hey Phil great video. I have found that if you tip your bucket all the way back as in lift the front off the ground you will then be able to do the same thing going forward, it works for me pushing snow on gravel so it should work on your wood chips as well. All the best.
Thanks for the feedback. I've definitely tried that before and I felt like the bucket just lifted over the material and left it in a pile. Will give it a shot next time I get gravel delivered.
10 acres of weeds and trees. What I’ve learned after 35 yrs growing trees. Don’t sell those wood chips. Instead, place those chip in your tree rows several inches deep. That will smother your weeds from growing and cut down on your mowing. Saves gas, and improves soil as to fertilize your trees, saving more and more money.
As the old saying goes, you don't know what you don't know. The float feature is nice. My LA805 also has two dump features, I don't know if the LA525 has that hidden option also. You read through your manual and get so much information that it is easy to miss items.
@@Austin-zw6ux From the manual: Position bucket control valve type This control valve has two stage dump positions. The first dump position by moving the lever to the right features greater speed for dumping. The second dump position (to further right) is the "Regular" dump position. It has good power and control for dumping precisely. This position should be used when operating another implement with this control valve. These two positions are separated by a "Feel" position for your convenience.
YOUNG MAN , NEXT TIME , TRY THIS FIRST > U DO NOT NEED PUT THE TRACTOR IN FLOATING AT ALL BECAUSE > LOAD YOUR BUCKET UP WITH SHAVE OR WHAT EVER U WANT THAT WOULD BE CHIOCE > DUMP YOUR 1 ST . LOAD WHERE EVER U WANT THEN GO BACK GET ANOTHER LOAD , DON 'T DUMP 2 ND LOAD BECAUSE RASIE LOAD UP GO OVER THE TOP OF THE FIRST LOAD THEN LEVEL BUCKET OUT BACK DRAG THE 1 ST . LOAD , THIS WAY U WILL HAVE LEVEL LOAD OUT EVERY TIME , DO THIS UNTIL U GET FINISH ! ! ! ! .

Hey Brad! I don't think my loader has that option, but guess I need to double check the manual. 🌲👍
Regular dump and fast dump?
