Steve I tried watching other bartenders on youtube, but the entire time I was like "where's Steve." lmao. thanks for the killer content dude, keep it up!
Agree.
I don't why but his shaking technique is awesome
Perfectly to the point, eloquently put, and you made it look so easy! Subscribed.
That's so Raven

Isn't he married...?
@@woofdes1480 He is. He's mentioned his wife in several videos.
If you wanted to make enough of the blended version for a group, it’s so easy to multiply this and use a larger blender to make a round. Awesome!!
😀never thought it was this simple to make. Thanks for the recipe !
No probs Jen! It's surprisingly simple to make :)
Piña Coladas a holiday favourite of yours?
@@StevetheBartender_ yes it is!!!!
the fly climbing into the coconut 😅😅

That's me. Lol
Little extra. Drink the extra!
Same here all the time 🤣
Now that's a real pina colada. Very good.
Thank you for getting straight to the point, not smiling creepily like a maniac, being overly hyper and not shouting in the video. Subscribed and ily ❤️
1:16 That fly wants some too.
Haha, keen eye!
What coconut cream are u using in this is it coco lopez ? Or the diy cream u make
I’m allergic to pineapple why am I watching this 🤦♀️
Personnaly pina colada must been done in the mixer because the cream of coconuts is heavy and only with shaker you can't properly mix all ingredients.pina colada in the mixer with mini slices of ice can resist much longer in the glace before passing in 2 layers.
Found your channel a couple of weeks ago and it's brilliant I've been keeping busy using up all the different spirits I've accumulated over the last few years into fun and nice cocktails you're a good man ✌😁😁☘
You make it look so easy. Subscribed, and we will be using your recipe for our housewarming/ engangment party. Thanks Steve!!
Thanks Kellie! Have a great party!!
Puertoricans don’t drink Bacardí!! We drink Don Q!!!! Wayyyy better!!
As a bartender myself , you inspire me and helped me in so many ways, I watch your videos every night, so thank you so much 😁😁
@@CraggyIsland123 come again?
Wow! Steve looks just like Russell Crow, and a better-looking version too. Keep them videos coming, and thanks for those great recipes.
I needed to learn how to make a pina colada and I went straight to your videos. I just enjoy watching you so much. Love from Arizona ❤️
Ask Shakespeare would say, "That is the question."
Back in my clubbing days, most of the places I went to never wanted to make Pina Coladas. I hope this is different now.
It’s not. They’re annoying because the coco Lopez takes time to get out and then i need to wash my shaker set afterwards. Or worse, use a blender
I really love this one. In addition it looks so creamy. I bet if you make it with coconut liquor instead does not taste as good as this one. Thanks Steve!! The 23d of this month I am starting a Bartender course in New York. Any tips you Steve can give me? I really look up to you as a professional and I'll take into consideration your advice!! :)
like your colada recipe. others i've seen call for 180 ml of pineapple juice. granted you added some fresh pineapple which would be more than 90 ml I guess. either way
Hi Steve what's the name of the coconut cream you use? I have used so many different ones and they all taste dreadful.
Andy Hake it looks like the brand “ayam”
We played around a bit and came up with this recipe.
2 Plantation 3-Stars, 2 pineapple juice, 1 Coco Lopez, 1/4 Lime Juice, 1/8 Giffard Orgeat.
The lime adds a touch of tartness to the pineapple and the orgeat adds a subtle nuttiness to the coconut. I plan to try some other rums with this but we're very pleased with the results so far.
Hi Steve, I have tried a lot of your recipes and I and the wife have loved all of them so far, looking forward to trying this one over the weekend. However, I wanted to point you to a typo in the description; you've typed 15 ml lime juice but you don't add it in the video.
cheers brother amazing video.
Thanks Yummy!
Pina Colada! One of my favourites. Steve-O, do you still like this recipe? This is one of your early videos. I'm feeling like you may have done a new video with another recipe. Seems like it's heavy on the pineapple. My personal preference is to use canned pineapple. When fresh pineapple is blended it can be very fibrous if it's not super ripe. You can always garnish with the fresh piece of pineapple. Also I think it's important to have a floater of dark rum, or better yet 151 dark rum. As usual another great video. You are THE Cocktail Shihan! 👊💥 OSU!
I prefer to blend at the bar but due to the weekend rush, I usually just shake at the bar
i'm a bit confused, on the video you say 90ml but on the list of ingredients it's 45ml of pineapple juice or did I hear wrong?
In the description it notes that it has been updated.

@stevethebartender could I get the recipe before it was updated please
Awesome contribution to the socially apathetic non-connoisseur newly interested drunkard. :)
No smile yet in this one? I felt empty 😪
Isnt the original pina coloda with cream of coconut?
Yes: ua-cam.com/video/OPovSmDHlZk/v-deo.html
My not a big drinker but I do love a Pina Colada and a Mojito. 2 of my fav cocktails and a Baileys. Yum 😋
Why did you not just use the ice from the shaker which already has the flavours from the shaking. Instead you put ice in the glass then strained it onto fresh ice. I'm asking because the blended version you blended the ice with the ingredients.cheers
OMG Steve, I didn't have any pineapple, so made my own coco lopez and added mango instead of pineapple. Hubba Bubba
I have a good quality blender, Nutri Bullet.😀 I like your cocktail recipes a lot. I already made few following your channel.
I know this coctail from TWICE's Alcohol Free
THis is my favourite drink, I only can make the shaken version at home though, no blender.
How would you mix coconut cream into a cocktail when the coconut cream is thick//is blue dragon coconut cream the wrong type?
It is very annoying because it is cheesy. Even your cocktail looks like it has cheese. Maybe the egg white added to the mixer will solve this problem.
I drank one yesterday but felt like there was not a drop of rum, do you think i just did not notice it or i have been scammed XD?
That fly :o
wow steve
you have come along way
So interesting to see these early versions of your channel. especially no smile. Just seems wrong not to see that. I like your setup behind you and the white slats from your current look. Cheers and thanks for the tips.
I've done many a shaken, but I'm a sucker for the blended!
I am your new subscriber since you making my favorite drink 🍸🍸🍹🍹🍹🍹
You forgot the limejuice! Gamechanger
Pinacolada without malibu?
Correct, the original recipe did not include Malibu..
*Piña colada* and yes, piña colada go without Malibú. 🍍
👍
Gd teachin ❤
Just made these using the homemade creme de coconut and without the rum and it's amazing. I used half a fresh pineapple frozen but it still needed a bit of ice to make it frozen but this tastes so good.
Great virgin option for sure! 👍
The shaken ones better then the blended
Agreed!
May I ask what’s the brand of the blender?
Cool
Oh wow, that looks so good. Me & the wife have been trying so hard to make the perfect PC.
Thanks!
I can make it pinagolada
Golada? 😂
Pina Colada by Prince Harry
Ey?
Little extra 👍
I shake it, and I use Malibu
I know this is old but seems no matter which way I try to make pina colada it always curdles
Try adding a 1/4 teaspoon of xantham gum to your blended drinks… it’ll fix it 👍
Ok great thank you very much!
deliciouse
i'm thinking of having shaken pina coladas for our wedding. do you think we could have just the pineapple juice/coconut cream pre-mixed ahead of time and stored in like gallon jugs for bartenders to serve?
Pre-batching is a staple of mixology culture and is definitely so handy to do! With cocktails like this all ingredients can be mixed before hand, poured then shaken and served!
Thank you! This helps a lot ❤ and so refreshing lol~
Legend
Rum, bit of pineapple juice, stick it in glass, stir, repeat 4 times, happy days! These guys are unbelievable!
That is decidedly NOT a piña colada 😂
I took a vacation to Hawaii in January this year and I got to know pina colada in O'ahu island for the first time. I really like this drink and wanna learn this recipe for a long time. You give the right answer.
Nice video Steve, what kind of blender is that?
U
my mums making Pina Coladas for me and her for a lockdown birthday celebration sorry i don't know how to do that fancy n
Doesn't need to be fancy, if you're enjoying/enjoyed them then they got the job done! 👍
how about bacardi pina colada ? does that count as a real cocktail? lol I'm wondering cause I spent my cash on a bottle and I'm curious if it tastes like a real one.
I used Bacardi for these Pina Coladas so not sure what you mean 😳
Steve the Bartender lol my bad. I meant the pre mixed 15% pina colada bacardi. it's like a cooler
Steve the Bartender the question was Do these pre mixed coolers taste anything like the real drink? :)
I’ve never tried them but making it fresh will always be better... the sweetness from the fresh pineapple really makes them! Of course the bottled stuff could come in handy if you’re at the beach say, and cant bring your blender with you! 😆
Got inspired and made a batch- absolutely delicious!
I put a shot of Malibu in my recipe
Yum , my favourite……
Steve the bartender
Ryan Reynolds wants you do his signature drink.
"The Vasectomy"?! I can just imagine the comment section and commentary 😂
Amazing work❤
Blending! What an ingenious idea! Always wondered why my pina coladas are so ... chunky.
Seriously.
Maybe use double strainer the normal and an extra small for the small crushed ice bits
Thanks for this:)
Which blender does he use?
A big thanks Steve! I've just learnt how to make one and it tastes brill :)
Why are the ingredients updated in the description?
This is a really old video.. I must have updated to a better recipe.
Every video I watch uses different proportions and ingredients :(
@@C0D97 yep, you’ll find that with most cocktails… try a few and you’ll find your preferred.
I’m so used to using oz I’m new to the page
Don’t worry.. I mention ounces in all videos now and the measurements are in the description too 👌
Thanks, great video
how many ml is this glass?
I prefer shaken 😉
The no shake smile hurts 😢
your videos are amazing
It looks amazing!!!
pina coladas without the smile....
Kat didn't remind him😅
Os Bacardi a favorite or just your go to cheap house rum?
Bacardi or Havana are the classic choices and a great quality for 'house' rum!
Grave boooon
Blended of course!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love your videos
Hi, I like your video, its so easy and well done, I would just like to know, if I froze those pineapple, would I need to add the ice
I imagine you would, to help dilute the sweetness.
I like it
He said and for those who don't have a shaker ... I think he mean for those who don't have a blender.
Probably had a few too many cocktails by that stage, I'm always fumbling my words!
Cheers bud.. You make it look so easy.
