I've seen pro-choice people being psychos just yelling slogans and cuss words, and I've seen the radical pro-life activists yelling "You are going to hell", "repent", "you are a sinner", "you will face God's wrath", etc. They are using the right words but just not in the right way. It's hard to find a sensible person of the pro-choice movement to have an actual conversation with, but yelling at each other will not make a difference.
I don’t see many comments about women who have had abortions. Sadly I have had three. I could sit here and tell you all sorts of different reasons why I CHOSE abortion, but all I have come to realize is... that I am very selfish, and I believed the LIES that everything would be easier. It never got easier especially thinking about my babies! I have since been saved from my sinful ways through what Jesus Christ did on the cross for people just like me. It was a major struggle to believe that I could be forgiven but the LORD JESUS CHRIST is so FAITHFUL! One day soon I will see my babies face to face along side my savior! I wish more people like you would come forward and share your stories. One of the biggest criticisms that pro-lifers get is that we have no right to have a say since we've never been in such a situation, which is fair enough. But sharing your experience can be enlightening to many.

32 years ago, when I was 17 years old I became pregnant. The nurse at the clinic started to PRESSURE me to have an abortion. Telling me I was ruining my life if I kept my baby. I got up off of the table and went real close to her and told her that I WOULD NOT LET HER MURDER MY CHILD and left. My son is the best thing I have ever done with my life. My pride and joy. My reason for living. Never, no matter what has happened over the last 32 years, have I ever, for one second, regretted my decision. I am certain, had I allowed that "nurse" to bully me into an abortion I would not have survived it. I would never have forgiven myself and I would have long destroyed myself by now.

I once saw a video about women who are constantly deeply depressed because they had an abortion 30 years ago and now all the guilt and regret comes up inside them. So I'm sure that's a very common thing among women who had an abortion. I'm sure even their male partners feel terrible sooner or later.

That is very true. My family is pro-life but when my aunt was 15, she was raped and my grandmother worked with her to get an abortion, worrying that she was too young. After it happened, both my grandmother and aunt very much regretted their decision to this day.

My friend was pressured by her father to get an abortion when she was a teenager. She heavily regretted it and repented and became a Christian. I'm so thankful she became a Christian years after the abortion. She died in August, but I know she's with the Lord because of her faith in Christ. I share this because she asked me to tell people if they're on the fence about getting an abortion, please please don't. It is murder.

I am Pro-life and I am not sure where I line up. I believe I am either Deyist or Agnostic. But I never use my spirituality to debate and argue with pro choicers. Citing bible-phrases will get you praise from people who agree with you. When debating those who do not agree with your spiritual belief, you cannot argue using religion. Because they do not believe in your religion. And many centrists, who are still smart in some cases, not like those absolute nutcases that we see. You need to speak with them, using the things they believe in: science, common sense and morality.

This encounter shows how many who think they are Christian do not know what it means to be a follower of Christ. To initially support abortion and to also mention zodiac signs which shows belief in horoscopes, it is clear the Bible was not taught correctly or not taken seriously or maybe never even read. This is what many people do...mix the Bible with pagan beliefs, creating their own version of "christianity". They are so lost and confused. My 18 year old daughter was almost murdered !! I found out late in my pregnancy and her Dad did not want her ! I called for the appointment and they said no I was to far along ...I called back and they gave me a number to call , I called and made the appointment and went to sleep the night before ...I had a dream that I was holding a pink blanket with a beautiful bright light ...all these family members that loved me , I could feel their love ...I never met them ..they were speaking over the blanket with the bright light illuminating out of the blanket.. saying things like this is the most beautiful baby girl I've ever seen... She is so smart she is going to do wonderful things for this world..she has a heart so big ...on and on...they were speaking so many gifts she would bring to the world !! The alarm clock went off and woke me...I began telling her dad about the dream and that it was a girl and then it was the most beautiful baby girl I've ever seen and all these wonderful things that they had spoken...all he could say was hurry up and get dressed we're going to miss the appointment you don't don't have any idea it's a girl...hurry up come on you're going to be late you're going to miss the appointment they can't make another appointment...you're going to regret this you're going to end up screwing up your schooling blah blah blah...I said No ! It was real !! So he was pissed he stormed out !! The next day when I got home from school he had my bags packed!! He said where do you want to go I'm dropping you off!! I'm done! if you want to keep this baby you're keeping it on your own!! She literally makes friends anywhere she goes!! She is amazingly beautiful and smart!! She is God's gift to me!! You can even do an open adoption and get pictures and updates!!if you do your adoption open and put it in there you can even have visits every so often!!! I have a friend who was raped & that rape resulted in a pregnancy. She had that baby & he is now a grown man, married with his own family. Those two were as close as a mother & son could be when he was growing up & still are. They have an amazing relationship & she focused on her son, not how she got him. She never looked at him & saw the perp because she refused to focus on that. It's all about your mindset & how strong that sound mind God blessed us all with truly is. Oh the other hand, my stepkids mother has had 8 abortions that I've been told about, using it as birth control because she wanted to live a life of sin but not carry the consequences that resulted from all that sin. It breaks my heart. I couldn't have my own kids & let me tell you from someone who wanted children but didn't get that blessing, its absolutely heartbreaking to see women use this as a form of birth control. Babies are a blessing that should be appreciated. Take it from someone who would love to have your "being a parent" hardships & issues. I've raised 2 teenagers that weren't mine & got the "you're not my mom. You're nobodys mom" rhetoric from them & I'll still trade with you to get to know that love & connection.

Had my son 23 years ago, un unexpected pregnancy, I never considered abortion although I was offerd straight away on health grounds. My son is the best thing that has happend in my life as well as a relationship with Christ. My son has now graduated and I am so, so greatful to God for the gift of my son and all he has done for me.

I wish someone would have offered to help me when I was in the situation of being pressured to abort my daughter at 20 weeks and 3 days. I had nobody to turn to. Even as I was taking the pills to begin the procedure I was thinking "I'm killing my own baby".The grief and guilt of what I did caused me to become suicidal - then Jesus reached down to me, spoke to me, (literally spoke to me in an audible Voice) lifted me up, gave me hope, and I trusted Him and became a born-again Christian, all praise to Him! So my dear daughter is with Him and one day we will be re-united!
We must love and forgive our brothers for trespasses against us. We have hurt people in ways we couldn’t imagine so we aren’t any better. Love you. Mt sister had an abortion over 25 years ago. I'm 7 years younger than her and had no knowledge of her abortion. One day I came into the room and found her crying on the couch. I asked her what was wrong. She said my child would be 5 today. I'm a Christian and I pray that people understand that this memory NEVER leaves you. She is still haunted by the fact that she murdered her baby out of inconvenience.She told me back when she had the abortion she thought it would be easy, she was only 3 months along, just go in and have the procedure done. She felt empty inside after that day and a horrible guilt, of course. Her child's heartbeat had been forcibly stopped. God bless everyone and I pray that all women stop making the selfish choice of killing these defenseless children.

Many if not most people think that the unborn baby is part of a woman's body. It is not and that has to be stressed over and over again. It is not a voluntary amputation of a troubling body part like an appendix or gall bladder, or a cancer! It is as if a person has invited another person to come to their house to live. When the house guest shows up, the householder changes her mind, secretly calls the police and says that she has an intruder in her house that is threatening her life. SWAT steps in and kills the guest, who had no idea that they were dis-invited. When you have unprotected sex there is a good chance you will be inviting someone to live in your house. You can't just call SWAT to come kill your guest--they are a SEPARATE person with separate DNA just like a baby in the womb. Deal with it.

We have 3 daughters more than the 2 children we began with due to embracing Gods plan for our lives, instead of resisting it. Psalm 103:17-19 lays out the blessings we are enjoying. My comment is based on my own experience, and it's something most women/girls are not counseled in or prepared for when they have an abortion; what happens after. 32 years ago, when I was 17 years old I became pregnant. The nurse at the clinic started to PRESSURE me to have an abortion. Telling me I was ruining my life if I kept my baby. I got up off of the table and went real close to her and told her that I WOULD NOT LET HER MURDER MY CHILD and left. My son is the best thing I have ever done with my life. My pride and joy. My reason for living. Never, no matter what has happened over the last 32 years, have I ever, for one second, regretted my decision. I am certain, had I allowed that "nurse" to bully me into an abortion I would not have survived it. I would never have forgiven myself and I would have long destroyed myself by now.

Beautiful, truthful story. Glad you decided to keep your son! I'm sure you are right about the "never forgiving yourself" part. I once saw a video about women who are constantly deeply depressed because they had an abortion 30 years ago and now all the guilt and regret comes up inside them. So I'm sure that's a very common thing among women who had an abortion. I'm sure even their male partners feel terrible sooner or later.
You should check out the show East los high on Hulu, its sickening. They pressure minority women into getting g abortions! It's a brainwashing show to indoctrinate desperate poor women.

That is very true. My family is pro-life but when my aunt was 15, she was raped and my grandmother worked with her to get an abortion, worrying that she was too young. After it happened, both my grandmother and aunt very much regretted their decision to this day.

My friend was pressured by her father to get an abortion when she was a teenager. She heavily regretted it and repented and became a Christian. I'm so thankful she became a Christian years after the abortion. She died in August, but I know she's with the Lord because of her faith in Christ. I share this because she asked me to tell people if they're on the fence about getting an abortion, please please don't. It is murder.

I am Pro-life and I am not sure where I line up. I believe I am either Deyist or Agnostic. But I never use my spirituality to debate and argue with pro choicers. Citing bible-phrases will get you praise from people who agree with you. When debating those who do not agree with your spiritual belief, you cannot argue using religion. Because they do not believe in your religion. And many centrists, who are still smart in some cases, not like those absolute nutcases that we see. You need to speak with them, using the things they believe in: science, common sense and morality.

This encounter shows how many who think they are Christian do not know what it means to be a follower of Christ. To initially support abortion and to also mention zodiac signs which shows belief in horoscopes, it is clear the Bible was not taught correctly or not taken seriously or maybe never even read. This is what many people do...mix the Bible with pagan beliefs, creating their own version of "christianity". They are so lost and confused. And it's not surprising in a world that brings eggs and a rabbit and Santa Clause into the Church. These churches lure people in with hypocrisy and wonder why they produce no fruit. God help us all. My 18 year old daughter was almost murdered !! I found out late in my pregnancy and her Dad did not want her ! I called for the appointment and they said no I was to far along ...I called back and they gave me a number to call , I called and made the appointment and went to sleep the night before ...I had a dream that I was holding a pink blanket with a beautiful bright light ...all these family members that loved me , I could feel their love ...I never met them ..they were speaking over the blanket with the bright light illuminating out of the blanket.. saying things like this is the most beautiful baby girl I've ever seen... She is so smart she is going to do wonderful things for this world..she has a heart so big ...on and on...they were speaking so many gifts she would bring to the world !! The alarm clock went off and woke me...I began telling her dad about the dream and that it was a girl and then it was the most beautiful baby girl I've ever seen and all these wonderful things that they had spoken...all he could say was hurry up and get dressed we're going to miss the appointment you don't don't have any idea it's a girl...hurry up come on you're going to be late you're going to miss the appointment they can't make another appointment...you're going to regret this you're going to end up screwing up your schooling blah blah blah...I said No ! It was real !! So he was pissed he stormed out !! The next day when I got home from school he had my bags packed!! He said where do you want to go I'm dropping you off!! I'm done! if you want to keep this baby you're keeping it on your own!! She literally makes friends anywhere she goes!! She is amazingly beautiful and smart!! She is God's gift to me!! I have a friend who was raped & that rape resulted in a pregnancy. She had that baby & he is now a grown man, married with his own family. Those two were as close as a mother & son could be when he was growing up & still are. They have an amazing relationship & she focused on her son, not how she got him. She never looked at him & saw the perp because she refused to focus on that. It's all about your mindset & how strong that sound mind God blessed us all with truly is. Oh the other hand, my stepkids mother has had 8 abortions that I've been told about, using it as birth control because she wanted to live a life of sin but not carry the consequences that resulted from all that sin. It breaks my heart. I couldn't have my own kids & let me tell you from someone who wanted children but didn't get that blessing, its absolutely heartbreaking to see women use this as a form of birth control. Babies are a blessing that should be appreciated. Take it from someone who would love to have your "being a parent" hardships & issues. I've raised 2 teenagers that weren't mine & got the "you're not my mom. You're nobodys mom" rhetoric from them & I'll still trade with you to get to know that love & connection.

Had my son 23 years ago, un unexpected pregnancy, I never considered abortion although I was offerd straight away on health grounds. My son is the best thing that has happend in my life as well as a relationship with Christ. My son has now graduated and I am so, so greatful to God for the gift of my son and all he has done for me.

I wish someone would have offered to help me when I was in the situation of being pressured to abort my daughter at 20 weeks and 3 days. I had nobody to turn to. Even as I was taking the pills to begin the procedure I was thinking "I'm killing my own baby".The grief and guilt of what I did caused me to become suicidal - then Jesus reached down to me, spoke to me, (literally spoke to me in an audible Voice) lifted me up, gave me hope, and I trusted Him and became a born-again Christian, all praise to Him! So my dear daughter is with Him and one day we will be re-united!

Mt sister had an abortion over 25 years ago. I'm 7 years younger than her and had no knowledge of her abortion. One day I came into the room and found her crying on the couch. I asked her what was wrong. She said my child would be 5 today. I'm a Christian and I pray that people understand that this memory NEVER leaves you. She is still haunted by the fact that she murdered her baby out of inconvenience.She told me back when she had the abortion she thought it would be easy, she was only 3 months along, just go in and have the procedure done. She felt empty inside after that day and a horrible guilt, of course. Her child's heartbeat had been forcibly stopped. God bless everyone and I pray that all women stop making the selfish choice of killing these defenseless children.

Many if not most people think that the unborn baby is part of a woman's body. It is not and that has to be stressed over and over again. It is not a voluntary amputation of a troubling body part like an appendix or gall bladder, or a cancer! It is as if a person has invited another person to come to their house to live. When the house guest shows up, the householder changes her mind, secretly calls the police and says that she has an intruder in her house that is threatening her life. SWAT steps in and kills the guest, who had no idea that they were dis-invited. When you have unprotected sex there is a good chance you will be inviting someone to live in your house. You can't just call SWAT to come kill your guest--they are a SEPARATE person with separate DNA just like a baby in the womb. Deal with it.

The struggle to raise righteous kids in a fallen world is our everyday reality & drives us to our knees to seek God's Strength.
It's all part of how He loves & redeems the world - Psalm 22:27-31, 1 Cor 15 - so that it belongs to Him & Satan us cast out, bit by bit.

Yea OK I'm confused are you saying this lady has had an abortion, if so we can't just assume this lady has had an abortion, we don't know that, we can't just judge and assume, if I misunderstood your comment then I apologise,
I'm not sure how my comment made you think I was saying anything about what she did or didn't do or that I am assuming anything. My comment is based on my own experience, and it's something most women/girls are not counseled in or prepared for when they have an abortion; what happens after. But it's something all women need to hear, read, see, because you don't get to go back and change your mind when the "after" effects kick in. I wish someone had told me this.

I'm 54 years old I had one when I was 18 it was my second child there was no one out there at that clinic to tell me I was doing wrong 20 years that haunted me the guilt laid on me I have three boys now I always wanted a little girl and I know I never received one because of what I did God has forgiven me for that and I would like to be able to help others at these clinics to make them see what they're doing is wrong and there's options God please help us make these people see what they're doing is wrong going into these clinics and getting their child murdered
