lu bu running around in front of the enemy army, kicking everyones ass as they stand there stunned for a solid minute. "should we DO something?" "we should DO something!"
Well to be fair they don't want to engage him with their officers because... Minced officers, and Lu Bu munches his way through rank and file like me through a cream scone.
Xun Yu was a military adviser of Cao Cao. He followed Cao when Cao Cao took the emperor "hostage" as "a pretext of uniting the nation under the Han banner with me (Cao Cao) as the protectorate of both China and the Han Empire". He in the end became of one Cao Cao's greatest ally in his own camp, even helping him in decisive decision making in defeating Yuan Shao at Guandu which allowed Cao Cao to rule the whole of Northern China.
Thank you @MonstersAbound, you're honestly the only person playing this right now that doesn't make me want to rip out my eyeballs and rip my ears off.
Cao Cao is indeed very paranoid but he isn't unstable. In fact he was a masterful genius. He could accurately predict what his enemy's next move was and played it well into his hands. The sole reason on why both Shu and Wu couldn't capitalize on their victory in Chibi (Battle of the Red Cliffs) was that he predicted that despite his major blunder and huge loss, both the alliance won't last and despite him still having a major army up north back in Xuchang, he would abandon Jing province for both of the other forces to kill each other over it. It proved him right as both sides started to kill each other over it time and time again while he was busy defending Hanzhong from Liu Bei. When Guan Yu was executed, Sun Quan sent Guan Yu's head to Cao Cao, wanting to set him up for executing Guan Yu while Lu Meng was the one that caused the mess. Cao had already predicted and figured out what Sun Quan was doing and ordered a grand funeral to honor Guan's military achievements to both his state and the Han Empire in name. He knew that once news leaked out that he was in fact honoring Guan Yu's honor rather than being the one that caused him to die, the wrath of Liu Bei would not point towards him but instead to Dongwu and yet again, Cao Cao was right as when the news reached Liu Bei, he instantly retaliated and attacked Wu. He's certainly paranoid as hell but you could call him a superbly cunning genius but unstable? No.
So, basically there was a bug. Sometimes attacks got reflected back at the attacker. This meant some very strong duelers got wrecked. As they kept getting powerful hits in but they got thrown back at them... Effectively killing themselves. This was known internally as the "Stop hitting yourself" bug... It has been fixed.
Gao Shun is more like a special force commander, Cao Xing is the leader of another more regular force, so its more like a join operation, but I do think Gao Shun out rank Cao Xing by a lot. btw Gao Shun is a very cool character look him up u be surprised
Looking forward to this new DLC I must admit, if you wanna play fast and aggressive you can play as Lu Bu or Sun Ce! Plus all the new unique characters look amazing as well

@@MonstersAbound fair enough, and historically he may have been a different guy. I've read romance of the three kingdoms several times and it's not quite as confusing as it seems.
Honest question. Looking for a gaming laptop or tower.. what's the lowest graphic card that will still make 3 kingdoms enjoyable that is available? Not looking to spend like 2 grand or something but somewhere in the hundreds. This game is insane and the first game in a long time I'm so excited for. Any responses are appreciated. God bless :)
So... I'll be honest I'm not great at PC hardware, but I know Heir of Carthage did a video for building a pc, with budget in mind, based on the recommended specs ua-cam.com/video/xT3yaYTFzro/v-deo.html
Huzzah! I've missed your Three Kingdoms content. I know the stories, yet it's always fun to hear them recounted. On another note, does anyone know if the new lord to the south is in the game yet, or does he come with the DLC? Keen to get back into this, but it's kind of annoying having to deal with the Suns as one of the three kingdoms every time. Oh, and is there a point to Commanders now?
@@MonstersAbound Thanks. I didn't actually know he was only a bandit. Hopefully it means there'll be more competition in the south now. You can let CA know your video convinced me to buy the DLC, haha.
CA's Blondie confirmed that the new FLC bandit lord is available in both the base game and in A World Betrayed. In the latter, Wang Lang and Liu Yao both start further south than they did in 190 CE -- and CA's thrown in several additional AI factions in the south, even if they're all minor afaik -- while Sun Ce is a landless-on-turn-1 vassal faction of Yuan Shu's in the southeast in Yangzhou, while iirc Liu Biao's now the one starting south of the Long River near the middle of the map.
why no original chinese voices? english sync is ok but the "original" is much better then the others. I watched u first time and i realy like ur voice and ur speed of talking. I will look more often after ur channel. And shouldn't xiao duan survive? i think he has to fight guan yu normaly later in the story?
It's more like "Chao Chao". "Tsao Tsao" is more of what you westerners say which is technically... Wrong. There's no "sh" pronunciation in his name. It's more of "cha"
I like the idea that fighting battles as Lü Bu is basically Easy Mode, while governing and empire-building is more of a hassle. Very true to history.
well.. seeing his character and attitude.. yup.. that very accurate
