Dr. Cohen, we need you in the Los Angeles area. I hope you could open a clinic in L.A. I looked you up online and I found your practice is in NY. I would have a knee consultation, but NY out of my reach.

What do you think the role of adipose derived stem cell or mesenchymal stem cell therapy? You mention PRP but leave out those modalities

0:13: 🏃‍♂ The knee is more unstable than the hip joint, with the kneecap, ligaments, and menisci playing important roles in maintaining stability and distributing force. Running and other activities can put significant pressure on the knee, but moderate activity is generally beneficial for cartilage health.
6:22: ✅ ACL injuries can lead to increased risk of arthritis later in life, but ACL reconstruction surgery is still necessary to protect the meniscus and maintain knee stability.
13:31: ⚕ The speaker discusses their experience with ACL injury and the potential for injury prevention.
17:13: 🏥 The speaker discusses ACL injuries and the different types of grafts used for reconstruction.
23:17: 💡 The hamstring tendon can be used as an alternative to the patellar tendon for ACL repair, but it may result in weaker hamstrings and kneeling pain.
29:40: ✂ The difference between a meniscus repair and a meniscectomy is that in a repair, the torn piece is sewn back together, while in a meniscectomy, the torn piece is removed.
34:37: 💡 The knee is a complex joint and pain can come from various sources, including the patellar tendon, quad tendon, cartilage, bone, and fat pad.
40:38: ⚕ The recovery time for knee replacement surgery is typically a year, with some patients continuing to improve beyond that.
45:52: 🏥 The orthopedic surgeon discusses post-operative care and activities for patients after knee and hip replacements.
51:01: ⚡ Repeated knee instability and ankle sprains can increase the risk of arthritis.

And what in the world is up with women turning 50 and getting knee pain with peri menopause!

Try fasting like a girl. Warning you might become furtile again. Post menopausal women that go keto sometimes get pregnant if they aren't warned that good health can extend fertility lol
