I have a similar engine which is made in india with a rc throttle bought it back in 1999 still have that engine but have not run the engine since many years.
Good morning Mark. They are one of my favourite engines and have been around since the 1950s. I still have my PAW 2,49 from my control line days. And oh that smell of burnt diesel fuel.

You should, they are lovely engines. Have you seen the video I did of the PAW 19 with the throttle! Wow!
I’ve several of those 2.49 engines. I really like them!
I tend to use 8 x 4 props with mine on control line models.
Certainly great runners, bet it screamed lovely with an 8x4, must try it

Exactly the engine I had as a young boy flying control line. Unfortunately I somehow lost it a few years ago when moving house...
