Good morning Mark. The ED Comp Special holds very fond memories of my school days when we used to fly control line in the play ground. Mr Dilly was our technical drawing teacher and an aeromodeller back in the day, and the ED Comp was the motor we all learned to fly on. Also one of our club members has Pete Coxes original ED Comp that he won the first control line stunt competition in I believe was in 1948. His wife gave it to the club as a gift.

Great little engine, steady runner with lots of snuff. I will be waiting with anticipation to see it perform in the air.

Thanks for the comment, yes can't wait to get it working in a plane, just need to build the plane, think it's destined to go in a 1939 50" Cloud Snooper

A 10x6 prop on a 2cm³ Engine, doing 6000rpm, that is quite impressive. I had a 10x6 on my 6.5cm³ SuperTigre. Well, it did well over 10000rpm, but stll.

@@tonywright8294 the plan says it’s suitable for 1 to 2cc engines also don’t forget about the added weight of the battery, servos, receiver, push rods and control horns also these vintage engines are not known for being particularly powerful
