    Nice engine. I have one still going great in my Flair Puppeteer since 1986. They are well down on modern 60 size 4 stroke power, probably equivalent to a modern 40. I have the open rockers protruding from the top of the Pup's chrome cowl......👍

      I'm currently looking at buying one. I have a Telemaster 2000 I could put it on, train newbies with. Nice and floaty airplane should be fine with the power it makes.

    Sweet looking engine and a sexy sound it makes! Just a quick question what exhaust system was used with the engine? I don't particularly like the stock mufflers supplied with the 4 stroke engines and I think it sounds a lot sweeter with an after market muffler? Any idea what after market exhaust solution is being used?

    ENGINE LOVER FROM INDIA

  • @Brobolio
    @Brobolio 3 роки тому

    The valve adjustment should be as close as possible in contact with the rocker arms when the engine is cold.
    In this engines, the gap increases with the temperature as the cylinder expands. The lifting rods don't expand as much as the cylinder. Since the rocker arms are on top, the gaps increment with higher temps. I do have one exactly like this.
    Nice vid and great engine!!

    Very nice run on the 60 or. You did a great job. I have a 55 ax os engine that when i hand start it 90% of the time i have to back flip it also. The compression is just so high that it wants to run backwards on hand flips. Man and the compression really boggs down my electric starter. Anyhow congrats and look forward to more engine runs.

    That engine is really nice and clean! If you'd like to see another OS FS-60 with an O&R 14/4 prop pulling an 84" Quaker look here. ua-cam.com/video/g1GQbPcxICA/v-deo.html
