Fun fact: the Starkhaven fish and egg pie is based on an actual dish known as "stargazy pie", named for the fish heads peering up out of the dish. "Stargazy" also happens to sound a lot like "Starkhaven". en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stargazy_pie
Truly wild to call starkhaven the most pretentious place in thedas when a whole orlais exists 😂 Perhaps just home to the most pretentious prince! (I love you seb, truly, may my viscount hawke and your marriage create the strongest alliance the free marches has ever seen!)
Aiding Kirkwall or Annexing Kirkwall. In 9:42 Dragon Starkhaven will either help rebuild Kirkwall, or invade Kirkwall by the creed of Sebastian Vael. This is in fate if Hawke saved, or killed Anders. However, the outcome is in fate of the Inquisition. Sebastian must be recruited in DA2 of course.. Or..Rather , in Dagon Age Keep.
I love how thoroughly you cover topics in your videos. You're by far my favorite channel that discusses Dragon Age content. I'm always looking forward to your next upload.
Is there a chance that the heraldry is related to the Blight? The dragons could be referring to the three Archdemons and the cup in the center is signifying the chalice the Grey Warden use for the Joining?
I really want a Dragon Age Movie and book to be set in the Free Marches and really dig into their culture and lore. I feel DA2 left a lot to desire with only using once city instead of the entire continent
"Thats is what we have about the most pretentious place in Thedas." How you finna say that when Orlais exists? We all saw Val Royauex. I love the vids tho please keep up the good work 💗
Helo yes, big fan of your work, Like litterally binge watched all your videos in three days. Might I inquire what are your thoughts on TYRDA BRIGHTAXE ? Because honestly that woman's story is driving me crazy and any kind of pointers would relieve me.
Couldn’t it be possible that he was prince before king instead of going to King or going to Prince? Versus illuminating the need for confusion meaning that he was prince for X amount of years and at some point and Herton the title Kate or change the title of king
Kinda lazy how since Sebastian was so holier than thou and pretentious, and he was the prince of Starkhaven. They just kinda labeled the whole place as pious and pretentious.
Maybe second most pretentious. I think Orlais (typing on mobile and always forgot how to spell it lol) is just a bit more pretentious with The Game and all
Kinda mad Starkhaven gets the Scottish accent, it's wasted on that pretentious lot. Hopefully their power and influence in the Marches can be used to exlpain non-starkhaven characters with that accent
Was waiting for Starkhaven because I’m Scottish and I need as much content as possible on my companions of equal accent.
Holly Adam isn't a town at northern Scotland called Kirkwall?
There is!
Yeah but hey there is a place in Scotland called kirkwall

@Melody Ackerman I now understand why my ancestors left then declared independence from it.

I thought the most pretentiious place in Theda was Val Royeaux. Guess I'll have to visit Starkhaven to find out.

Those images in the Starkhaven crest look like fish swimming around the cup.
Thanks for all your awesome lore vids. They are a treat to watch.
I love your lore and theory videos, thank you for all your excellent work. This might sound bizarre but you have a nice voice; calming =3
What a treat, thanks for pumping all the content out as of late! Keep up the good work
so excited for the next DA, thanks for a awesome videos!!

Pretty sure the heraldry is fish considering it's in a river. Plus the one recipe from there is a fish pie

The symbol on their crest looks like helmets with flowing hair
Imagine the pary in Dragon Age 2 going to dinner together and everyone is just staring at Sebastian with his Fish and Egg Pie.
Yet another wonderful video! I expect nothing less. 😍😍
Can you do a video about erasure in Thedas? Like Tyrdda, Ameridan, Shartan, the Qunari slaves in Tevinter, etc?
ah the heraldry kinda looks like an ouroboros
I laugh how for a pretentious country it has a Scottish accent....and most of us aren't like that! ...usually....I think. Great new vid though :)

How do grey wardens know which old god they’re killing?
6:32 demon heads with long hair.

Well thank you!
And normally I would but... SOON. Although to to sum it up in a few words: Man, I don't even know.
that seems uncannily accurate. I shall be waiting thks for answering that!

I think the idea was to point out Sebastian as a relatively good person but a product of his environment.
Well he is an aristocrat meaning that he will some day become pious and pretentious once he’s crowned Prince.
Excellent video :). Is Starkhaven similar to Venice?
Yeaaaaah fish and egg pie noooo thanks hahaha
Am I the only one who thinks that Stark Haven looks a lot like Walls Sina and Rose from Attack on Titan?
