Reserved left over water, that reduced and smelled aaaamazing,and whisked it with 1/2-1tsp of corn starch, and few tbsp of pure date syrup(i don't have starch syrop). Sooo very good!! This is a timesaver for sure. Thank you. I have one child who doesn’t like sesame in any form, but they’ll happily eat my japchae even though it contains sesame oil. I have to pass the sesame seeds to everyone else at the table though.
My oma was from Busan, and my absolute favorite dish of hers was japchae (I loved her gimbap too). I do prefer it with the bulgogi strips, but something about those cellophane noodles is so delicious

I don't know how to exactly japchae be this but all the vegetables looks like raw. It is impossible to cooked in 1 or 2 minutes. Thanks for the video however I need some explanations.

그런데 고대로 따라했는데 면이 탱탱하긴한데 끊겨버린건 왜 그러는걸까요?!ㅠㅠ 소스에 넣고 끓일때 자꾸 건드려서 그런걸까요?
소스에 끓일때 저어주는게 좋죠~ 너무 오래 끓이신건 아닐까요? 면은 원래 끈어지지 않아요~
아마 면을 행구고 물을 충분히 안빼줘서 볶을때 물이 많이 생겨 오래 볶으신것 같네요 ㅠ
