Thanks for reacting to this so quickly, my dudes! Glad you liked it! KEXP is an independent radio station in Seattle. They’ve been King Gizz supporters since way back. Their studio sets (which this tune is from) are badass. Stu (main singer, blue guitar) did the mixing of the audio for this and the sound is incredible! I’ll be requesting more from King Gizz soon.
@ Ha ha you got me! Just spreading the love, you know?! It’s especially fun when the reactors know their shit and/or are passionate about music. There’s more coming for these guys. Any suggestions? It might sway me if I’m 50-50 on a song. Cheers
@@dignan4you the man, these dudes would be psyched on magma from red rocks 23 psych metal is the path they’re on. Would love to see them hear some new blood incantation as well
The mainstream turned its back on good rock/metal music years ago. Indy Music is the genre where you find it nowadays. KEXP, Jam in the Van & Tiny Desk Concert are three good web venues where you can find it.
Saw them in Chicago in the fall for a 3hr marathon show. I've been to hundreds of concerts over the years, and King Gizz was the greatest show I've ever seen. They have two dozen albums and never stop exploring.
Best band on the planet at the moment. People have been saying "guitar music is on its way out" since the early 60s when Decca records rejected the Beatles, and it's still huge and still great! This performance really shows just how good of a band they are. Super tight, incredible musicians, just awesome people really. "Catching Smoke" or "If Not Now, Then When?" would be my recommendations, but I don't have any money to give you, so let's just hope Dignan or some other Gizzhead comes through with it!
These guys are Australian. They been around since 2010 and I just recently discovered them. They are pretty bad ass with a lot of really tripped the fuck out music. Very eclectic and complex musical compositions and some wacky freaking subject matter! I read on wiki that all their albums are connected to this one main story concept. Fans call it The Gizzverse. Hahaha. I been meaing to try and check out more of their shit lately, they have a shit load of albums out in the short 15 years they been around.
I like these guys a lot! Their organic approach to building a track and raising it irresistibly in intensity feels true, right. Only 2nd or 3rd I've heard by them, going hunting for more. I'm a convert. 🖖🏼😁🎶❤️🍁❤️🎄🥃✨️🕊
Just started watching you guys, and you’re great! If you want another great Gizzard song, check out their performance of ‘Nuclear Fusion’ on KEXP! I’m sure you’d like it :)
Please react to more King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard!! After 13 years they have 26 studio albums, 300+ songs, amazing videos, and live albums! They've dabbled in almost every genre, and every album sounds different from the last
You should listen to their album Polygondwonaland, first and foremost because it slaps, but on a practical note they released it copyright free and encouraged people to remix etc. so you could do the full thing without worrying about strikes. I'd also recommend thinking about other full album reactions, even if you split in editing, since that's the way the artist intended it to be heard, in the case of Pink Floyd the songs even transition and there's a continuing storyline.
I don't know how this band slipped past me! So retro a jam band! Your subs are giving you some great material! May I suggest some Steely Dan, Allman Brothers Band and Blues/Rock, soul and jazz queen Beth Hart...anything live! TRUST ME!
Ok Y'all are really getting into it. KGLW Are tte second best live band going currently!!! KEXP is a radio station. K's : West coast. W's : East coast. Ask someone over 40. 🫅🫀&🦎🧙
2nd best live band going . Live streamed American summer tour free on UA-cam. Which is Awesome 💯 & they're just as Awesome. Hugely eclectic band. And prolific songwriters!!! 98 out of 100 💯

Welcome Home Normally when I recommend music, I always start from first album and listen straight through(The Second stage turbine blade- SSTB/TimeConsumer). This is a great introduction to this band. I don't want to say to much- please read up on them to understand how crazy conceptual this band is.
if you guy's want some funk jazz soul and FREE Style all in one song give a listen to The J.Geils Band Musta Got Loss off there Live Album Blow Your Fase Out you will dig it thanks orgive a listen to Grand Funk Railroad Insidw Looking Out Live video will blow you away
Not to criticize taste, but i dont get how Iron Lung is the favorite from this album. Didnt like this one much at first, but omg, Magma's live performances are always out of this world. All their lyircs are underapprciated as well, as they may not coalesce into some greatest meaning, maybe, but holy hell are they melodious and creative and just plain fun.
You guys should give a listen to their song grim reaper. the studio version is good but i like this live performance of it ua-cam.com/video/IausBvkbLAI/v-deo.htmlsi=dcFr0Z8omF0IuOlB

@@feral_orc Sorry, my English is bad. I mean lack of organic composition. Like potpourri, unrelated fragments replace each other, when they should smoothly evolve within the composition. Ok... hard to explain... it's not a movie, its a trailer. It's like they're trying to copy every prog band they know in 30 second chunks.
I love King Gizzard so much. If you throw their discography on shuffle, you'll end up listening to every genre under the sun
It’s a blessing
I love when I get Sense immediately followed by Dragon

Srsly no - stupid claim
Some parts i like, but some parts is confusing, sounds like a mish-mash mix of everything in the world. There is no integrity.
What do you mean by "integrity"? Because in the context of your comment that word makes no sense.
