    Nice video, but you dont have to always use a mixer to pour the paint. You could have easily poured from paint jar to clear bottle and not have that paint spill...😂😂

    Excellent video! I love how you transfer the label very clever. How do you find the paints last when sitting in the bottle for awhile. Does the nozzle get clogged over time?

    • @tomassoejakto
      @tomassoejakto 2 роки тому +1

      Hello. I started learning to use the airbrush about a month ago and one of the first things I do was transfer some paints into those bottles to thin. A month later and the nozzles still work, so don't worry. Even if they clog up, I suppose you could always take them off for a bit and wash them.
      Good luck 🙏

    Wouldn't it be easier for you to use a funnel to pour the paint into the bottles? It wouldn't spill unless you overfill the funnel, which is easy to avoid doing.

    I know this is old, but new to me. Great videos! I’m glad to see these bottles I have been using them too. I like them better than pointed option and with separate cap. I see you using 1500 surfacer, do you use that more than 1000. I struggling whether to use 1000 or 1500, it think 1500 is perfect if not doing heavy mods, or am I wrong.

    • @RaggenZ
      @RaggenZ 4 роки тому +1

      Just take those number as sand paper 500 is for very Matt coat for weathering, 1000 like a semi smooth & the 1500 is the smoothest.

    Hi! Thanks for the video! Have another question, have you ever used the mr thinner leveler that contains retarder? Is there any benefits for airbrushing with retarder? To me sounds like retarder would help a lot for dry tips and giving time for paint to self level but not sure.

    • @spamstabber
      @spamstabber 4 роки тому +2

      Doesn't matter which one you use, the only difference is mr levelling is self levelling, you get a slightly smoother finish with mr levelling and it's a bit more forgiving if you spray too thick.

    Such a great idea!!
    But I would like to ask, will the thinner react with the plastic bottle?
    And will the mixture dry out if not used for too long?

    • @youmoyan4870
      @youmoyan4870 4 роки тому

      Had same question before, for react part, I’m using water based paint, it seems okay.
      For dry out issue, indeed it’s true, it would try up or at least thicken even it stay in the origin glass jar if given time. However, the solution is pretty straightforward, just add some more corresponding thinner, it should be okay.

    • @youmoyan4870
      @youmoyan4870 4 роки тому
