The video shows a car passenger' seat whose bolster and lateral panel needs repairing. The upper bolster panel was done in leather and its lateral panel in vinyl material.
The first step is to remove the cover and unstitch the damaged parts.
Once we have the pieces apart the next step is to use the old cover as a pattern in order to get new pieces in similar materials.
The upper piece in leather is really flat. The lateral piece in vinyl has several bulky stretched areas and the process to get a new flat piece in vinyl is as shown.
To get a better general look of the seat and backrest cover I considered necessary to clean and remove the old sealer to apply a new black pigment and a transparent sealer on top.
I hope you find this short video useful!

The pleasure of watching a master craftsman! No music, hell no talking. Just quality work.
Restitching the damaged stitching following the original holes was brilliant!
Love the work man. You are what has inspired me to collect some material and machines and give it a go, even if just for my personal projects.

I need my seat done will upholstery shops do a partial repair like you or a full seat repair
Upholstery shops do whatever the customer asks for. In the case of the current video the customer requested a partial repair (left seat bolster in leather and side panel in vinyl) plus a thorough cleaning and repainting of main panels in leather.
Current video (Toyota passenger's seat):ua-cam.com/video/-ujYt5L-4bc/v-deo.html
In a previous video (Toyota driver's seat) the customer requested a wider repair:

The torn material, was that the skive leather that is given aplastic finish...???
👍
Thank you for the video! Did you run the new piece through the machine to make needle holes first? I understand why there are orginal needle holes from non-damaged section. Was this to match the thread pattern precisely?
On one side I discarded the old thread and sewed the new thread following the already done needle holes.

On the other side I had to make new lines of double stitches.
Hello, I'm an upholsterer and I want to learn something more to bring back my enthusiasm and get into action with (new) things, what do you advise me? Is there anything you can recommend? in lessons
First thing to consider is that our upholstery craft involves furniture and different vehicles, considering automobiles, motorcycles, boats, airplanes, etc. It is up to you to choose what field or lessons you would go after. You only know what is of more interest or liking.
Unfortunately , my basic courses are for beginners in the upholstery craft.
What is that you are brushing in to the seat? Is it some kind of conditioner/cleaner?
I used pumpkin soap to clean the old leather.
