does that engine have a fuel shutoff valve? do you know if that snowblower comes with a manual that tells you how to avoid that problem with the gummed up carburetor?
I have this one, it's crap. From day one cable adjustment was needed, it won't self-propel at times, if it hits a small clump of wet snow (I would expect the wheels to go over it, not stop altogether).Poorly designed chute, poorly designed transmission, expensive and hard to get parts locally. It's still under warranty but the parts I needed weren't covered, just nonstop aggravation, Buyer's remorse here.
Great video, thank you very much. I'm working on this exact model tonight, owner has a no start problem. Will update later.
Glad it helped
@@lmsmallenginerepair4471worked like an absolute charm! Once again, great video, thanks for putting it up!
thanks for the video I only use premium gas in mowers and blowers.. less gummy in the carburetor
Good call on the premium gas!
Manufacturers should just keep the bowl directly accessible. Seems like a machine can't sit for 3 months anymore without having to drain it.
How come they don't put a drain at the bottom of the bowl so you can shut the fuel valve and just run your machine out of gas , then drain the carb?
That's weird. I have the same make and model, but the fuel pan is different.
