This is basically just Jared Dines jamming with himself for three minutes.
Which is a splendour the behold 🙂
I bet this was fake! They were both wearing the same pants!
Or you could say, Jared playing with himself
Actually no. It's Jared Dines jamming with his secret twin for three minutes :D
I'm okay with that.
Shred war: Jared dines vs. Jared dines (flannel shirt version)
Then riff war
Beanie vs Hat versions.
Senid Deraj*
Corey Taylor’s Neck ah yes Indian sounding name Jared
Its jared dines vs deraj senid
Jared's epitaph shall read "He really loved playing with himself. No... Not like that..."
Onanism rocks!
😂
“Insane man claims to jam with his clone in a guitar battle”
Florida man the musical
Weird how this mans twin brothers curtains are slightly a different color
i know right? that's really weird man
It's also weird how the shadows never cross over the different curtain colors. Shadow-thwarting technology has really grown since I was a kid, those are some good curtains
Sean Ellis Nice way to ruin it
Not sure what curtains you guys are looking at, all I see are blinds
Viggo Ulander oof, trying time have some fun my guy
I always much much prefer the rhythm riffs in these vids. Can't beat a badass meaty riff.
Exactlyyyy ;)
As an example, people always prefer artist's, like Buckethead's, lead stuff; insane shredding, fast moves and thin notes all around. But my personal favourites are always the ones with the thick good background rhythms. Can't argue about which is right or better because doing such a thing is just stupid and pointless.
MEATY.
You can tell these videos are openly pro riff guitar :D
Tani210 have you listened to his ‘hold me forever’ pike?
beanie jared: *rhythm time*
hat jared: *lead time*
hatless jared: *drum time*
jared dressed like a woman: *ooh yah. time to BASS*
Davie504 would not approve. NOT EPICC.
@@shayanmoosavi9139 i know lol. but what if davie and jared had a bass showdown?
@@calebrose4607 davie would win easily. CHECKMATE.
@@shayanmoosavi9139 so? jared would still have a good time trying to keep up with davie lol. it would be fun to watch too
@@calebrose4607 thanks for ruining the joke.
Impressive how Lead's guitar is right behind the Rhythm playyer
And there is two of the same red guitar in the middle.
Pfft. Idiots. It's so obvious.
They just like buying 2 of the same guitar for backup
Yeah , but why does called “Lead” if it was falling behind.
@@Alex-ll7ot and if you look to the bottom left you see that Rhythm has the same guitar that Lead is using
Metal logic:
Low guitar strap: rhythm.
High guitar strap: lead
Just like James hetfield and Kirk hammett
With high strap it's easier to play high notes, while with low strap easier to play low notes
Low strap with that majesty looks pretty sick though
Muhammad Irsyazman it’s more comfortable playing lead with the strap a little higher I guess. I wear my strap just a little lower than he is wearing it in this video the lead one
Lower the strap, the cooler you look!
I love how you can see where he split the screen 🤣
That happens when you don't shoot in manual
Same was in the first part
Noooo. His blinds are just half dirty half clean ;)
What do you mean? They're twins
@@viggoulander9671 oh yeah my bad :D
Narrator voice: when the two combine their powers...they become....The ear-gasms!!!
no.. the ear-gasms
How to tell a lead guitarist from a rhythm guitarist: *the lead guitarist always squats when shredding*
The lead is also the one shredding
Rythym guitarists also squat to do chugging breakdowns doing that low strap crab stance
and the rhythm guitarist *ALWAYS* squats.
@@lichkrieg4898 I was messin around lmao
Funny faces aside, that is some excellent playing.
I honestly love the rhythm more. Granted I'm not amazing at guitar, but playing a juicy rhythm part in pop-punk or metalcore/djent is always much more fun to me.
Chugging them low strings feels so good
That last riff + solo was so fire 🔥 awesome job Jared! You’re largely what inspired me to keep playing guitar when I felt like quitting, and now it’s one of my greatest joys in life. I can’t thank you enough! Keep on rocking!
0:20 my favorite riff of the whole vid
Is it just me or jared lead play has become better. New lick every rhythm and stop the same lick for like 2 years in his guitar solo.
Awesome jared
He still uses really similar licks in his lead playing but especially in shred wars he's become so much better. Solos are way more unique and interesting to listen to.
yes
He slays
As he plays,
Does it in his own particular ways
He protecc,
He atacc,
But, above all else
He brings the beanie bacc😀🤘👏
Stop trying so hard
@@altoid8450 Never give up🤘
Love that chorus on the lead tone!!!! Sounds so good!
This is...ACTUALLY, the coolest one youve made...every riff amazing, every solo cool af....you rock Dines...thankyou
Honestly this just makes me smile, your a boss dude.
This is actually very educational for me. I never understood the roles.
You never understood their roles? The rhythm player is essential, the lead player really is not. Now, it's best to have each player be the best they can be, but ultimately it all comes down to the rhythm of the song that makes it a good song or not. Think about this, think of your top ten favorites songs, how do you recognize each song when you first hear it? By the rhythm guitar! Songs like Layla are easily recognized by an opening lead part but that is rare. Sure the lead guitarists usually get more of the attention, but musicians recognize that the rhythm player is the true star. Angus got all the attention but had it not been for Malcoms rhythm playing those classic AC/DC songs wouldn't have been the same, right?
@@alabamahebrew Right. But, I meant in terms of who plays what. I've been trying to make music for a while now and always get stuck on combining guitars together. It's both a mixing problem and a matching problem (ha). Making an entire song on rhythm is not going to work for me because I can't play as well as Jared here does.
@@WesleyOverdijk I'm confused, I also do my own recording btw, how can you not make an entire song on rhythm? Are you basically saying you don't know how to put a lead part over a rhythm part? See, you have to establish the rhythm first, otherwise how will the lead player know what key to solo in? If that is your area of trouble, playing lead in the proper key, can I make a suggestion for you? Download some backing tracks off of You Tube. There are thousands of them for free that encourage you to download their stuff. Then play the backing track and practice soloing over them. It teaches you how to stay in the same key. If you have trouble remembering the keys, do what I did, I printed each key out on a piece of paper and have them taped on the wall in front of where I sit with my guitar, when in doubt look at the paper on the wall. Usually the backing tracks tell you what key they are in btw. I am not really much of a lead player but since I began using the backing tracks I have gotten much better. Lol I still can't play half as good as this show off Mr. Dines can though. Now sometimes a song will actually change keys just for the solo part. I remember one time hearing Jimmy Page was going to rehearse with someone, I don't recall the band he was going to make a special appearance with, the song they were doing had been changed to an E flat tuning and Page was pissed! he said he couldn't solo in that key for that particular song. I really didn't understand what he meant but I guess it caused some issue lol. A little trick I learned when I first began recording my own stuff. Solo one of two ways, either solo in the same area of the fret board as the rhythm is being played or move an octave up. If the rhythm is in the 1-4 fret area, solo in the 13 to 16 area. The backing tracks idea really helped me though.
Wesley Overdijk never compare yourself to what you see on youtube, they do many tries and fail a lot, I guarantee you he didnt video this and get it all right the first try, also they edit their mix, he has better equpiment than the average player, edits the sound(not drastically but cleans it up),no job or occupation to focus on other than him playing music, and hes been playing a very very long time. With all of that of course you won't compare to him, hes a professional. Just saying dont compare urself to youtube!
@@alabamahebrew What I meant is that I don't have a band so I play everything myself. I can't create a nice rhythm because I'm just not that good at it yet. So what I tend to do is play simple rhythm and add a second guitar to give it some "flair". The problem I then encounter is that it becomes muddy (the sound) and I have a hard time deciding what the second guitar should then do. I want to make it fuller because I can't do vocals so it's all instruments and no vocals (I get shy when screaming because the neighbours once called the police haha). But your advise is good and I think it can help me, I'll give that a go! As soon as I get home I'll find some backing tracks. Thanks!
Some amazing playing!!!!
Nice to revisit this concept I loved the first vid and now that one as well!!!!
I love these videos. You rhythm guitar riffs are always so chunky. It's fantastic. You always tend to figure out a lead riff that compliments the rhythm riff so well. It's so pleasing to the ears. ^_^
I need a full song out of that tremolo picking part

Awesome playing. I had to watch the old video afterwards. The first video you made of Rhythm vs Lead is hilarious when you bring the dive bomb in with the hat flying off. Great watch this video was.
Loved the rhythm playing in this vid along with the harmonics from the lead side right before the two minute mark.
Gotta say, Jared's playing has really improved over the last year and a half
Shirley you meant...
Jared's playing has come along this semester
;-P
“I can be like them” me watching at 3 am with some cereal
I love that you brought back your OG Ibanez for this vid.
Could you bring it back more often.
This was awesome man. This deserves a part three in the future. Or a special guest bassist lead vs rythm guitar vs lead guitar
1:20 I love simple rhythm riffs like that. So fucking fun to play.
lol! The Ibanez he's playing lead on is also in the left corner of the video haha! :-D
Good eye sir!
Keep these badass vids coming Jared! You are inspiring me to pick up the guitar again!
I loved this "lead-synth" sound. Amazing!
Why dont your songs ever sound like the music you play in these kinds of videos!?
Codey Cross because he makes hard rock not classic rock
@@peytoncrosby5892 genre this genre that... it shreds and could be used anywhere!
Codey Cross this sounds more like classic rock
@@peytoncrosby5892 influenced a bit, but with other heavy influences. Which is perfect. I hear several genres hes into without trying to just fit into one. Much more original
@@peytoncrosby5892 that's an odd definition of classic rock. This sounds nothing like Clapton, Zeppelin, Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Boston, Kansas, the Eagles, Badco, Foghat, etc.

Wtf
That rhythm guy's guitar transported to another dimension 😨
Jared's playing is always amazing...
These tones are amazing.... I want these sounds!
Like watching a split personality shred on a guitar, fantastic!
I need someone like you to jam with in my life 😂
These were your best riffs in any of your videos ever omfg these were sick
You're awesome, dude! I follow you pretty much time ago and told you several times, I admire you
Pretty funny how the lead "guy" actually respected and rocked out to what the rythm player did, but the rythm player always was annoyed, pretty accurate!! xD
T. Lead guitarist
You look really good in that beanie Jarvis ;)
Jared Dines, this types of videos should be on spotify, i can hear this for a long time
Man Jared should make a shred checklist things to practice to create those awsome shreds he produces dines the fk n man love his playing
The Ibanez you’re playing for lead is also behind the other you in the corner lol.
There goes Jared playing with himself again.
I loved that mixed tone shutter in the middle
I could listen to Jared playing guitar all day, I enjoy the riffs so much, need a very long playlist of songs just that sound like this! Recommendations, anyone?
Idk, this just seems like band practice when we’re trying to write a new song and the vocalist is sitting in the corner bored waiting for us to finish
Beanie versus Snapback - Shred Wars
Some really sick jams here, man.
There’s actually a ton of amazing riffs in this
Love how the lead holds his guitar much higher than the rhythm
"why not both?"
- EVH
Mo Bamba or Sicko Mode!?
@Lucid Dreams
no. just no.
Been waiting for the 2nd part to drop for a long time.. now I can rest at ease
Good work! Sounds absolutely awesome!
1:00 full song name please ??
Yeah, I want to know too
At least, I want to know what kind of Metal genre is it
Today's fact: The oldest living tree in the world is in California, and is around 4,843 years old.
Thank you, Sir!
Cool!
Thanks!
I don't know when to use this trivia. But thank you sir
Cut it down
Finaly some video of you playing!
WE REALLY NEED A FULL SONG OF BOTH THE 1ST VIDEO AND THIS ONE!!
Rhythm all the wayyy!!!!
Video title: how to go from human to supersaiyan.
Really enjoyed the Video. WELL DONE Jared!!!!
Dude... you're frickin' awesome. You deserve that Guitar World cover.. since some of us are lucky enough to get the opportunity to work from home we also have some dead time in between projects/meetings.
Jared Dines videos are what I choose to fill that time with.
i want an entire song of what was being played at 1:40
this is beanie vs hat
Hat Jared Vs beenie Jared battle of the ages \m/ love the content and the music keep it coming @jareddines
Awesome, a really miss those kind of videos.
That strap is lower than may self esteem
Is that a little bit of flanging on the lead I'm hearing?
Those riffs were amazing! Up the Dines!
I'm partial to both rythum an lead. I could listen for hours. Great little jam session. It reminds me bk in the day. How my husband's band at that time would compete for the attention.
Nice. It would be good to see guitarist vs bassist.
Rythm wins...just look at that strap
(I play lead in my band😂)
Fuck yeah Jared. This is the stuff man. Big love!
That was fun. And the guitar tone is amazing, compression and all that.
Hey this looks kinda sped up
Whoah!
Sir! Sir!
Step away from the controversy.
Keep your hands where we can see them.
😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
My aunts cousins brothers bestfriend heard from her daddys bestfriend that lucas' butt was so hurt he now has to carry a donut and has to sit while he takes a piss.
Ya and hands don't glitch like that
The dislikes probably are those other Jareds who did the other instruments
Some of these need to be made into full songs.
I appreciate the daily uploads on both channels
I take this back where’s my dickeydines show at boi
Actual footage of the voices in my head while I'm playing
Shreeeeed cooooolaaaaaab 2019
I love it when you play with yourself!
this is a tough one. that's a killer piece you've made. I'm going for rhythm on this one, it's a groove.
1:09 that Lead riff was so damn good!!!

So
I see that Fluff has lost some weight
These vids are always awesome

I’m going for the lead guitarist here. Also, who ever edited this needed to feather the mask haha.
And then there are guitarists that are both like Hendrix
That tone for the lead guitar is nuts, I went back multiple times to hear it
