I still have my digital copy because I stopped actively using my Xbox and had my external 8TB hard drive with all my games installed on it unplugged from my Xbox and just sitting on my desk I am using my Xbox again but haven't reconnected the hard drive because I need to plug it into my pc to pull all the games off of it to make a "legal digital back up of my games"
This is actually a big part of why I got such a large external hard drive and have a personal offline archive of digital content because big companies apparently have the right to take back what we bought at any time without a refund, that and if I don't have an Internet connection I can still play my games, watch movies, and listen to music completely offline.
Streaming services and being able to download games at "any time" and not have a physical wall of game cases taking up space in your house would be convenient if that copy of the content was actually ours like it was if we had a DvD or Blu-ray but that is not the case and the reality is that it is a big waste of money because of how companies abuse/take advantage of the customers/users with the EULAs
