This is actually a big part of why I got such a large external hard drive and have a personal offline archive of digital content because big companies apparently have the right to take back what we bought at any time without a refund, that and if I don't have an Internet connection I can still play my games, watch movies, and listen to music completely offline.

Streaming services and being able to download games at "any time" and not have a physical wall of game cases taking up space in your house would be convenient if that copy of the content was actually ours like it was if we had a DvD or Blu-ray but that is not the case and the reality is that it is a big waste of money because of how companies abuse/take advantage of the customers/users with the EULAs

My god it's so incredible what this guy did and he got slapped with a cease and desist for it. This is one of the best fan projects I've ever seen for any video game.

Ah, looks like I'm mistaken - I didn't know that all of those were technically part of Liberty City Stories' game files. Goes to show how detailed this mod is I suppose, that even the stuff unused in the game files can still be found on this PC port. Also, it's worth noting a couple of the vehicles are apparently cut beta vehicles from vanilla Liberty City Stories, like I believe the vehicle with the number 222 is a cut beta vehicle.

Put the files in your Watch Dogs 2/data_win64 folder. The same folder where you'll find files named patch1.dat and patch2.dat.

That is indeed true, yes. No cheats, no multiple saves, modders are cracked down upon instead of embraced, those too are elements of the gaming industry that are garbage right now and need to change. Not to mention the obsession with online features - how many games nowadays are about to come out with always online DRM? As in, you can't play singleplayer without an internet connection or the game won't work? All for basically nothing. Didn't think much of the Watch Dogs 1 door when I put it in the video, but yeah that's true too - games aren't daring to be unique and interesting either, or to tell a gritty story, or to have a world of their own at all. Instead games like Watch Dogs 2, Saints Row 2022, and GTA V are essentially just slapping a coat of goofy cartoony paint all over a copy-pasted real life setting, so you can goof around, without having anything deeper than that. I appreciate so much the thanks for this considering how frickin' long this took to make. And I'm glad to hear you're going to spread the word about the plague of magenta/blue (or teal)/yellow xD And you wouldn't believe how much I want a change, yes. Years in the 2000s you had absolute legends of games coming out left and right - 2010 as an example gave us the original Black Ops, Just Cause 2, Halo: Reach, Civilization V, Mass Effect 2, Mafia II, Fallout: New Vegas, and probably others that I can't remember, all legendary games all in the same year. Yeah that's definitely possible, my copy seems to flip between the NOoSE Cruiser and NOoSE Patriot pretty often, but I don't know what the hell was up with my game that I only managed to get the FIB Buffalo twice or so in all that time. Never tried to get it from Heat before this video either, apparently with good reason. Good luck, if you decide to see how it goes on your copy.

Agreed. Very fun to drive, no other law enforcement vehicle like it in the franchise, but not quite as aesthetically pleasing as the NOoSE Cruiser at the end of the day.

He's fine. Worst case scenario he respawned at the nearest hospital. XD And yes, shout out to what I believe is also my favorite law enforcement vehicle in the game. Roadblocks are definitely a bit faster for acquiring the vehicle, but the method shown is more for any level of game progression as those roadblocks are eventually removed as you unlock the map. (Unless you mean Heat-related roadblocks, which...aren't they scripted to only appear on bridges? If so, that's why I've literally never seen one because I don't really go across bridges at Heat 3.)

@@UsernamehereCustoms Yes, I did mean heat related roadblocks. The ones related to blocked map parts spawn a regular police vehicle. The roadblock is a quick way of knowing whether the game will now spawn the Cruiser or the Patriot as it takes a while for it to shuffle mid-heat and sometimes it's quicker to lose it and start over.

Well, technically that security company is an enemy in one multiplayer mission. Can't confirm as i've never played the mp. But you should have at least destroyed it for some quick cash.

Even when the police officers are fit and run at full speed, it still works as they can't really catch up to you because they slow down to aim their gun the closer they get. Having a female police officer model sounds fun, I wonder why they didn't put that in the final game?

@@UsernamehereCustoms Don't know, even in V which has female cops they appear only at police stations and will never spawn during chases and heat. That model seen in the trailer was also a fat cop. She was supposed to have red hair though, which would be pretty unique.

​@@AdarWidmopies I'd say it still doesn't fit the criteria of "Law Enforcement Vehicle" though due to the fact that it doesn't chase the player or belong to a faction that appears during Heat. I think my official definition for "Law Enforcement Vehicle" that would qualify for a tLEC episode is any vehicle that belongs to the official legal factions called to attack the player during Heat levels is what qualifies. So in this case, anything that appears throughout Heat levels 1-6 or anything that belongs to the organizations featured, so the LCPD, NOoSE, and the FIB. Anything that doesn't fall into the category of either appearing during Heat, or belonging to the LCPD, NOoSE, or the FIB, is disqualified. The Securicar despite belonging to an official legal security company does not qualify for those reasons.

@@AdarWidmopies Well, at least the models exist already, so modders can do Rockstar's job for them. Seems that Rockstar doesn't like that kind of thing though.

(btw, you can save the police boat if you're insane enough XD there are special vehicle saves for GTA VC with some unique property boats stashed in garages miles away from the nearest water)

One of these days for nostalgia's sake I should try to talk as slurred as possible and start with "HELLOOOO UA-cam!" with the volume turned up to max so the video gets over 50% dislikes from people with bleeding ears XD

@@AdarWidmopies How would that work exactly? Even if you somehow get a police boat and push it to one of the parking spots next to a safehouse, it won't save, right?

@@UsernamehereCustoms Never tried it, would be worth checking if it works with a boat summoned with a cheat... I mean it saves helicopters, why wouldn't it?

@@AdarWidmopies I tried it with a Police Predator spawned with a trainer a long time ago and it didn't save despite being fully in the parking space, so I don't think it works unfortunately.
