Little piece of heaven wherever it is you're driving. How does the Tacoma handle that trailer? 4 or 6 cylinder? 4×4? I like these trailers but I've heard of a few people having axle problems. I was thinking of getting one of these 109's and putting in a independent suspension. Something like a Timbren. How heavy is your 109 when fully loaded? Thanks for sharing and for the footage outside the truck as you drive by. Very helpful for someone interested in how the trailer handles on a road like that. Safe and happy travels to you and that perfect traveling companion.

The 21 Tacoma is a six cylinder 4 x 4 manual transmission with the off-road package that pulls the 23Sunray 109 just fine. I haven’t had any issues with the axles. I do make sure that the wheel bearings are greased before going out.
Overall I really like the Sunray.

Consider a Gulfstream Trailboss 1090K its like the 109 but better in my opinion. 3500 lb axle,4 inches more on bed. The electric connection is better.

Seeing how the 109 only has a 2500 lb axle it won’t weigh much

I just purchased a small teardrop trailer, I will be towing with my jeep going in the back country with my dog, are you using trailer brakes? My little trailer has brakes but I don’t have a trailer brake hook up in my jeep I don’t know if it’s necessary since my trailer weighs about 1400 pounds, but since I’ll be doing a lot of off routing just curious if you feel it’s necessary, thanks for the awesome video👍

I do have breaks on the trailer, they do seem to help in the back country especially in the snow and mud.
Happy boon-docking friend enjoy every moment.

That’s funny, it’s brand new and that is the way the Tacoma engines sound.
