    Intrigued by these 109 sports. But I've heard both good and very bad build quality from people who own them. The extra ground clearance you get in the sport version seems useful yet odd considering the axle and suspension are the same, I think, as the non sport version. Wish they would upgrade the suspension to fully change it to sport-like completely. Don't know if they've upgraded the axle weight rating wise because I've heard from some who say it is undersized/rated for the weight of the trailer. All the wood is a concern for both condensation and weight. Nevertheless the lay out and over all footprint are appealing. Seems a bit tight for 2 people but definitely do able. Spacious for one person for sure. Your mods are purposeful and well thought out. Thankyou so much for sharing. This little trailer has caught my eye and interest. Subscribing now and look forward to more of your experiences both good and bad with this trailer.

      Thank you for your input. If you do decide to get one of these campers, you will not be disappointed. Everything works great on ours from the day we got it except for the refrigerator had nothing but problems with the refrigerator. That is why we are considering to change it out with a 12 V cooler.

      Yes, there are a fair amount of quality issues from Sunray owners on the internet. Seems to be rampant in the rv industry. So it's reassuring that this owner is happy with his unit. There's hope yet!

    Very nice upgrades one thing I'd like to add you need to reapply black silicone around your brake lights I noticed that it's missing on over half and a little bit of water getting in that guy can cause alot of damage over time..

    • @lilfootadventures7474
      @lilfootadventures7474  Рік тому

      If anything, I lightened the tongue weight by moving the spare tire and the spare tire mount, bracket off the tongue also by moving the spare tire to the rear of the rig, transferred more weight towards the rear, and took it off the front as far as weight goes I am not sure, but the tongue boxes very lightweight
