Yeah it purely depends on the specific project. I have planned out my mechanics, but because I need a lot of assets and it's due to submit for my course in a few months, I felt it would be better to get a head start on them because I know I can do the mechanics relatively easy. For my other game that I'm working on, I wanted a solid looking tilemap to make my levels and implement random level generation, so did those assets first too. Not all, but just the level generation related one's. Thanks for the comment

Yeah that'd be cool if this game takes off XD. The backstory is sort of foggy so it could be worked in somehow 😂
