Another pod holds one of cafeteria's staff, whose pod was damaged by a portion of the ship landing on and around it, and sank close enough to the Jellyshroom caves for the crabsnakes to get curious. There's a pod behind the crash site with a broken fabricator, whose inhabitant seemingly starved, or potentially sparked an inadvertent explosion, given the state of his. There's multiple with broken Seaglides, some who succumbed to radiation, one which was blown up by a passenger misusing a flare, and there's also the Second Officer and Chief Technical Officer, both of whom escaped their pods (which had each sunk to 500 meters) and made it to the floating island before attempting to board the Aurora, and dying in an unknown way - though it was slow enough to get a message out about it. And any people who didn't succumb to the environment were removed by the warpers, just to finish it off. It's just not functional - you can close the door but the room never floods until the whole sub is gone. -The reinforced dive suit should absolutely be necessary, or some alternate easier dive suit, with the RDS doing perhaps somewhat less for it, and both being able to at least complete the game. -The ALZ is made to look nice. Which is fair enough, it does. The Sea Dragon does make perfect sense, though - it swallows lava, similarly to the Lava Lizards, and spits it back out, which is a phenomenon some real creatures can do through use of the same thing the two Subnautica counterparts are said to use - layers upon layers of dead skin to take the heat. @@kokushibo1014 Commander Keen. It was the second in command and I think two or three other crewmen who made it to the floating island only for the commander to order them to return to the Aurora to make repairs. They either died to the reapers around the Aurora, died to radiation exposure, died to the drive core explosion or died to lack of food and water since they probably didn’t make base building tools.
The lack of other survivors makes some sense: if you look at the position of the Aurora in the crater it’s pretty near the edge to the point where it’s very easy to accidentally wander into the void if you’re just trying to see what’s on the other side of the ship. As such it’s safe to assume that any and all lifepods ejected from the starboard side of the ship probably landed in the void where they were immediately set upon by ghost leviathans. So let’s assume of the 150 initial crew members 75 died to being on the wrong side of the ship. We can also assume the initial attack by the QEP probably killed some crew members or made them unable to reach lifepods, as well as causing severe malfunctions in multiple lifepods. We also know the captain chose to go down with the ship and it’s not impossible that since the ship was relatively intact the bridge crew tried to steer the Aurora into a safer landing rather than abandoning ship, although if the crash didn’t kill them the radiation would have so that was not a good landing. But let’s talk about the lifepods that did make it to the crater: why don’t we see more survivors? Well a few of them were unlucky enough to land in dangerous waters and their occupants died to reapers, radiation and in the case of the ship’s doctor a warper attack, but the remainder all seem to have tried traveling to the floating island to meet up. Here Commander Keen, now the default leader, decided the best thing to do was to lead the survivors back to the Aurora to repair the drive core and escape the planet. This turns out to be a bad idea for multiple reasons, the Aurora has attracted a lot of reapers which would have picked off the crew members and the radiation would have killed any survivors, and if they did this early enough they might have gotten caught in the drive core explosion. In addition because our other survivors prioritized getting to the floating island they didn’t invest time in creating a habitat builder so they were doing this without any sort of fabricator to supply them with food, water and equipment that would have helped them. We also find out that the warpers were hunting down other survivors as soon as their kharaa infections progressed enough and were eventually responsible for taking most out. The bladderfish is described as having a membrane that can be used to filter water so the implication is that the bladderfish filters were being used to desalinate sea water and turn it into something that’s at least drinkable.
The ship had 50 lifepods. The 25 starboard lifepods were destroyed by the initial attack, and it seems the remaining lifepods were launched from high enough up that about half of them may have ended up in the void, hence we only see 10 lifepods in-game.
Didn´t the game mention somewhere (I don´t remember if in a log or sth) that not all lifepods managed to launch? Also we have to take into consideration a strong possibility tha a lot of the pods landed beyond the crater in the ecological dead zone since the crater is not that big in diameter, so they sank to the very very deep bottom or got attacked by ghost leviathans....thats a very terrifying thought I think.
And the blowing up can be due the increased water pressure Maybe the pressure causes the engine and the batteries to be squeezed tonthe point of explosion Idk the science behind But batteries do be exploding ryt?
Actually with the sea dragon spitting fire underwater, in its bio it states that the sea dragon will engulf molten rocks and spit them out at potential prey as a hunting mechanism
6:21 Actually yes a human body can handle extreme pressure. The problem is the about in our veins, that causes all the problems that go with diving not carefully.
Eh, I personally think the other lifepods weren't so lucky with their landing and ended up in the void. The 9 lifepods we can find in the game are the other lucky ones who managed to land on the crater.
my guess as to why the Cyclops catches fire and blows up when below crush depth is that a power wire got crushed from the pressure, causing a fire which then obviously causes the engine to blow up since fire doesn't mix well with batteries usually
I was super tripped out the first time I saw water touching lava down in the jellyshroom caves. The realization that once you get close enough to a planet’s core, it’s so hot that magma and water can touch and be barely affected, was super weird and I just kinda stared at it for a second, lol.
Dont know if you mentioned it but i would like to add the real life underwater lakes are also acidic. There are videos were can see like a ton of decomposing fish corpses around them…. Its super cool!:D
I could imagine the cyclops explodes because the water pressure damages the electricity inside it, causing a short circuit thus leading to a head up in the engine eventually overheating and exploding. With crashed cars its similar- when the electricity is damaged, a car is more likely to catch fire because of this
If Conan Exiles really wanted to sponsor, I mean really sponsor, they should give you a server and then we could all play there. Also I always find it unrealistic that you can dive one meter over the crush depth and you are absolutely fine. Go just right below crush depth and your vehicle takes damage.
I think the log or something else mentions that half of the life pod bay - aka the other 40 life pods - were where the ship was hit at the point of impact, so there went half the people there and the lifepods for them to escape on. Still doesn’t make sense how our MC was able to make it but they tried!! 😅😂
Those were a few lifepods that did land successfully, but had incidents afterwards. Besides the lifepods we’re maybe an addition altrerra made to get more people to join the aurora knowing in a incident they could survive. But not design to actually work.
the base enter animation is one of my biggest pet peeves about subnautica, though i guess it could be explained through, say, a force field that only lets the player through
The crash fish isn’t actually unheard of when it comes to natural defence mechagnisms. There are some insects that literally explode into acid if a threat gets too close (an aphid species to be specific). This way they sacrefice themselves for the other aphids.
i personally have a theory that the hatches and vehicles have somesort of transparent water sealant in the middle of the hatch this also explains how the player isnt wet upon entering these things
Another theory, vacuum seals are used to make sure water stays out of certain areas, so it isn't impossible that since a seamoth can produce oxygen, it can also expel a large amount of oxygen as you enter to push any water away from the hatch as you get in. Same for bases and other vehicles. Sure, it's a bit of a stretch if you're thinking irl, but for a sci-fi based game like subnautica, I wouldn't be surprised if that happened.
The cyclops entry animation is realistic because there is no way for the air to get out so the water can get in. And it’s at the bottom, so not even gravity helps it happen. With the sea moth and prawn suit it makes sense to assume that it hey just very quickly drain the water
about the lifepods: the aurora blackbox said that there were only 50, then half of them were destroyed when the aurora was hit. so not 9 out of 80 landed, but 9 out of 25. and also the ones that landed did survive the fall they just died before you reached them.
With the fires in the cyclops, a reason to explain it could be the machinery being under pressure and combusting, as that's (Most likely) The cause of the hull breaches
Re: Life pods, half or more of them were destroyed by the initial blast from the QEP, so only 25 launched. Of those, some probably landed in the Void, some were probably knocked off course by the debris the first blast created and were left floating in space, and any that launched a few seconds later than the player's would've been caught in the Aurora's explosion. Out of the half dozen or so that made it to the Crater, only one died in the fall. Everyone else survived for a few hours before getting killed by bad luck or bad choices. Also the Cyclops going from flooding to burning to exploding is probably an electrical issue. Water gets into the wiring, causes an electrical fire, and then eventually kaboom.
I watched a program about the sea and learnt about brine pools I’m so glad they added them to the game but the thought of them scares me. There also cool.
There are other lifepod survivors though. Lifepods 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 12, 17, and 19 and all survive the landing. #2 has CTO Yu, and a second passenger who drowns or gets attacked and eaten/killed on their nearly 500m swim up to the Floating Island. #3 has 2 people who landed above then sank into the Creepvine Kelp Forest. #4 has the guy who’s only defense against a Reaper Leviathan is a couple of Creature Decoy Tubes #6’s passenger survived impact, but then died to and explosion shortly after, because one of them lit a flare while one of the gas lines in the pod was leaking. #7’s passenger had a faulty fabricator and was likely attacked, killed, and eaten by Bone Sharks as he went out into the Crag Fields to scavenge for resources to repair his fabricator. #12 was where Doctor Danby, the doctor onboard who fakes his credentials and doctorate, dies of Kharaa, or the Warpers hunt him down #17’s Passenger was one of the Cooks in the Mess Hall, and likely got eaten by either a Crab Snake due to his pod landing right next to the entrance to the Jellyshroom caves, or a Reaper Leviathan, since he’s in the South Western Grassy Plateau, which is bordered by the Dunes where Reapers are VERY frequent. Lastly, #19 held Second Officer Keen, who managed to swim all the way from the North Blood Kelp Zone, to the Floating Island to rendezvous with CTO Yu, as they then both attempt to restart the Aurora’s along Range Communications Antenna, but both are likely attacked and eaten by the numerous Reaper Leviathans patrolling the area around both ends of the Aurora.
they way it says in the pda is that the bladder fish is a water filter, and not filled with extra water of water. you probably just get a bottle of water from the planet and filter it with the fish.
The game does mention you crashlanding on a 2 by 2 square Kilometer volcanic crater (pretty sure this are holes but whatever game) the Aurora ist even naar a quarter of the map and could therefore not be anywhere near 1.2 km long
Hi aci i didn't know you until now, until i found your time capsules in subnautica with the aurora miniature! Thank you by the way and hello from france !🏅
I mean you can turn the bladderfish into oil and that into plastic to make the bottle and also there a some species of ants that can explode to protect the nest but this only makes sense because there is more than one ant, not like the boomer fish who is alone
I mean, there WERE other survivors, but by the time you wake up, they already died for various reasons. That’s why we see PDAs on the Floater Island, right? Second officer Keen and CTO Yu made it there safely, but they went and got themselves killed soon afterwards. As for the sea dragon, in lore, according to the PDA, it eats molten rock and later regurgitates it to spit the ‘fire’ in its attacks.
How do the precursor race build bases underwater, considering their form? They have flesh that might burn, and they have four legs. They wouldn't be able to survive the leviathans in theory since they wouldn't be able to move fast enough to even get to the base, let alone build it. Just a thought! Enjoy Aci!
Not getting crushed does kinda make sense. They’re instead simulating it with decreased oxygen efficiency, as more strain is put on your circulation...
Hello! I have a theory! I believe, that the Sea Treader’s migrate towards the crag fields, which used to be a, well, a lush reef. But, the aurora created the crag fields when it crashed, thereby destroying the “lush reef”. So, the sea treaders are the ones who made the sparse reef. They will go extinct because there is nothing to eat.
Also why the hatch was never just designed to be a little airlock in and of itself is beyond me! Why make me build the door and then a bulkhead just to simulate realism?!
They could have made the hatch be like it is now, but with a sliding door system that opens automatically when you walk to it. Have the water drain after it flows on the floow of the room. I think it would be equally cool, yet still just as fast. (Because I personally hate the idea of being my self and going out side my habitat realizing I had something to do inside, and than realize I did have something outside I needed to do. I’d spend hours of my time played going through doors).
There is a law made after the titanic sank, the law said that all ships must have enough lifeboats for the maximum capacity Say a boat can fit a maximum of 1500 people, 10 people can fit on a lifeboat, there will be 150 lifeboats
They did have a danger meter back in beta, but they took it out. Edit: also, the fundamentals of the world CAN be applied, but not be reinforced. The whole lava thing can happen, since its an alien world. Magnesium can be in it,we just dont know for sure
Considdering that the cyclops explodes at the engine first i'd assume that the batteries contain large amounts of lithium which can explode under water
Y'all make so much sense, then a lot of the life pods were badly damaged, most of them were. For lack of better words destroyed by the ion Cannon or torn open by some sort of life formand the only other life pod that survived was the life pod, literally right next to life, pod 5, it just got flipped over
It was propably the heaviest built part of the ship to maximize the chances that a crash wouldn’t end with a nuclear melt down. The rest of the ship could have been built to be destroyed on impact similarly to cars crumpling up when they crash. Maybe the ship was even designed to be destroyed around the reactor room to keep it safe.
Two words: Water Pressure Crush depths have something to do with it I think, but we can swim perfectly fine Downwards, which is difficult for me to do when I’m swimming because I’m a normal person… So was Ryley, no wait he’s a chief maintenance the last who left the Aurora. Yeah…
When the gun fired it made most of the lifepods not work/not work properly And only 2 worked perfectly fine And 1 one of these were destroyed by a reaper
I've no explanation of non flooding of bases or single seat vehicles but I think you mentioned the Cyclops.? That certainly wouldn't flood as the entrance is at the bottom therefore acting as a diving bell entrance. Why the DEVs fitted a door on it I can only speculate its function is to prevent the player falling out when getting to the bottom of the ladders or reaching that section.
Maybe 4546B’s water is different from earths water. That could explain why that one fire is just hangin out. Oh and if you do ever go diving at the lost river irl place bring something like a 3D printed gargantuan skull and put it down there. If that IS actually possible.
If I’m being stupid feel free to correct me but for the point about the life pods it’s entirely possible most of the others landed in the dead zone and got eaten by ghosts. Also for your point about how the plastic bottle doesn’t make sense bio plastics already exist irl and are probably more advanced in the subnautica universe. Also there already exists species of ants that can explode and also think about the environment of the safe shallows before you arrived everything native to that area is too small to cause it to crash so the only thing that could trigger it is a stalker wandering in which wouldn’t happen too often
I explain why I don't think the lifepods are scattered in the video As for the ants, I think there's a huge difference in the effectiveness of suicide bombers in an ant colony, where thousands of ants protect the nest, and the crashfish, where there's only one
Something that doesn't make sense to me is crush depth in cave systems. Sure, at the entrances the water might crush you, but would the water under the cave roofing really be abundant enough to crush you under the weight? Of course, the cave biomes like Jellyshroom caves, Lost River, and Lava Zone are tall, and they would crush an unupgraded Seamoth, but not an unupgraded P.R.A.W.N. suit going into the Lava Zone. I feel like the P.R.A.W.N suit would be fine, right? I might be wrong, I don't know.
For no one surviveing I hafe a plausible but no sientific anser: the Planet is cursed causing all live on it to eventiuli die (Karar and the Degasi) PS: the Fabricator creates the bottle itselfe but cant filter sea water.
Aci, a lot of survivors survived the fall but died to the planet. Lifepod 4, Officer keen and yu. The reason they’re all dead is due to the fact we passed out. This is meant as constructive criticism
What really doesn’t make sense is how the way you get into your base without it getting water into it. Like, is there an invisible barrier behind the hatch that makes it so water cannot enter but you can?
4:45 the is actually a creatures on earth that explodes its mostly insects mainly ants or Colobopsis saundersi so i would not say its too far fetched to see a alien animal explode to defend its eggs and nest
That would lead to the next point: why do we have unlimited reserves. I think the most "plausible" solution to this (if you can call it that xd) would be, that the fabricator is in some way able to rearrange and change protons, electrons and neutrons (the compounds of an atom) to create different elements. Of course- why don't we just create rare materials by doing this procedure, but eh, I would rather answer that question than why this damn fabricator is able to make what looks like plastic outta a fish
There are survivors, and just got killed by warmers or other things like reapers. not to mention how some people could have been crushed by the aroura or landed in the void
This is more than just a sponsor to me, I really love this game and it would mean a lot to me if you could check it out

lol!
25 launched and we find 9
and 50 exiasted
I personally don't mind the Cyclops catching on fire if it goes to deep, as the water entering could cause a short-circuit, starting a fire.
And the blowing up can be due the increased water pressure
Maybe the pressure causes the engine and the batteries to be squeezed tonthe point of explosion
Idk the science behind
But batteries do be exploding ryt?
Should it have start filling with water though?
@@nicky-su4uo TRUE
It would be cool to have a option in settings to turn realistic animations on and off, so if people don’t like it, they could just switch it off.
I think it would work very well
Actually with the sea dragon spitting fire underwater, in its bio it states that the sea dragon will engulf molten rocks and spit them out at potential prey as a hunting mechanism
But always remember, the real life Brine *usually* doesn't have Gragantuan Skeletons or Ghost Leviathans hanging around. Usually.
Maybe the purple stuff from the blatter fish has some particles that can be turned into plastic from their technology
6:21 Actually yes a human body can handle extreme pressure. The problem is the about in our veins, that causes all the problems that go with diving not carefully.
And this is because our body is made 60-70% out of water.
Eh, I personally think the other lifepods weren't so lucky with their landing and ended up in the void. The 9 lifepods we can find in the game are the other lucky ones who managed to land on the crater.
I cannot tell how many times I've seen this in my playthroughs 0:06
The fire on the water thing actualy happend with my in my last playtrought and the fun fact is its 100% acuratly on the zero point lol
my guess as to why the Cyclops catches fire and blows up when below crush depth is that a power wire got crushed from the pressure, causing a fire which then obviously causes the engine to blow up since fire doesn't mix well with batteries usually
I agree your main base should have some type of air lock
Or make the hach go under the base so it doesnt flood like the moonpool
the base enter animation is one of my biggest pet peeves about subnautica, though i guess it could be explained through, say, a force field that only lets the player through
When you realize your character has probably been holding in a poo for the whole game ☠️
it does make sense for when the Cyclops explodes because of crush depth. the engine gets overwhelmed causing a fire exploding
The crash fish isn’t actually unheard of when it comes to natural defence mechagnisms.
There are some insects that literally explode into acid if a threat gets too close (an aphid species to be specific). This way they sacrefice themselves for the other aphids.
Underwater rivers made of water also exist. We call them 'currents'.
Upvote this so Aci gets schooled please.
i personally have a theory that the hatches and vehicles have somesort of transparent water sealant in the middle of the hatch this also explains how the player isnt wet upon entering these things
@@Seraphim_1172 that could aslo work yeah
The cyclops entry animation is realistic because there is no way for the air to get out so the water can get in. And it’s at the bottom, so not even gravity helps it happen. With the sea moth and prawn suit it makes sense to assume that it hey just very quickly drain the water
about the lifepods: the aurora blackbox said that there were only 50, then half of them were destroyed when the aurora was hit. so not 9 out of 80 landed, but 9 out of 25. and also the ones that landed did survive the fall they just died before you reached them.
The fire on the water bug happens to me all the time ! Its just part of all my worlds now 😅
According to the PDA entry, sea dragons consume molten material & then puke it. So no, they don't breathe fire.
Mistake: You said 1,2 km while the text said 12 km. Love your content and I am Subscribed! =D
The way crash fish work is similar to an actual plant and lithium reacts with water btw
With the fires in the cyclops, a reason to explain it could be the machinery being under pressure and combusting, as that's (Most likely) The cause of the hull breaches
0:50 USUALLY?!
The PDA says that the sea dragon dont spits fire, it just stores the active lava zone lava in his digestive system and spit at us when threatened
another thing to do with crush limits when u make the modules they dont change the ships hull at all so how does that allow it go go deeper
Another thing that doesn't make sense in Subnautica.
The Aurora crashing and not COMPLETELY WIPING OUT THE CRATER!
Aci: The Aurora is 1.2 kilometers long.
Meanwhile the screen: 12000m
I think you mixed something up.
#4 has the guy who’s only defense against a Reaper Leviathan is a couple of Creature Decoy Tubes
#6’s passenger survived impact, but then died to and explosion shortly after, because one of them lit a flare while one of the gas lines in the pod was leaking.
#7’s passenger had a faulty fabricator and was likely attacked, killed, and eaten by Bone Sharks as he went out into the Crag Fields to scavenge for resources to repair his fabricator.
#12 was where Doctor Danby, the doctor onboard who fakes his credentials and doctorate, dies of Kharaa, or the Warpers hunt him down
#17’s Passenger was one of the Cooks in the Mess Hall, and likely got eaten by either a Crab Snake due to his pod landing right next to the entrance to the Jellyshroom caves, or a Reaper Leviathan, since he’s in the South Western Grassy Plateau, which is bordered by the Dunes where Reapers are VERY frequent.
6:20 Ummmmmm actually I think you're forgetting about the Reinforced Dive Suit as well as the Rebreather lol.
But its not reqiered to dive down that deep it just protect you from temperature and life form
@@csokolat Okay fair but try going down there without the rebreather and see how far you get lol.
@@ItsKagiVids ok but im not talkd about the repreather just the reinfoced dive suit the repreather is totaly fine (sorry for bad england)
they way it says in the pda is that the bladder fish is a water filter, and not filled with extra water of water. you probably just get a bottle of water from the planet and filter it with the fish.
The game does mention you crashlanding on a 2 by 2 square Kilometer volcanic crater (pretty sure this are holes but whatever game) the Aurora ist even naar a quarter of the map and could therefore not be anywhere near 1.2 km long
Everyone: this doesn’t make sense!
Me: *whispers: its an alien world*
Hi aci i didn't know you until now, until i found your time capsules in subnautica with the aurora miniature! Thank you by the way and hello from france !🏅
I mean you can turn the bladderfish into oil and that into plastic to make the bottle and also there a some species of ants that can explode to protect the nest but this only makes sense because there is more than one ant, not like the boomer fish who is alone
The crash fish one is rly interesting I mean yes minecraft creepers explode but as an attack not a Defense
The cyclops explodes because the crush is to much for the engine to handle
I mean, there WERE other survivors, but by the time you wake up, they already died for various reasons. That’s why we see PDAs on the Floater Island, right? Second officer Keen and CTO Yu made it there safely, but they went and got themselves killed soon afterwards. As for the sea dragon, in lore, according to the PDA, it eats molten rock and later regurgitates it to spit the ‘fire’ in its attacks.
The reaper leviathan was almost longer than the TU-160 super fast bomber
How do the precursor race build bases underwater, considering their form? They have flesh that might burn, and they have four legs. They wouldn't be able to survive the leviathans in theory since they wouldn't be able to move fast enough to even get to the base, let alone build it. Just a thought! Enjoy Aci!
2:43 ye 12000M is 1.2k ye right lol
Yeah I added one zero too many 😅
I did skip the sponsor but then I got caught so I went back to watch it
Haha thanks! ❤️
I didnt skip the sponsor and i will gladly try out the game.I was looking for something like this.
Maybe the "plastic" from the bottle is made from the remains of the fish?
Not getting crushed does kinda make sense. They’re instead simulating it with decreased oxygen efficiency, as more strain is put on your circulation...
Hello! I have a theory! I believe, that the Sea Treader’s migrate towards the crag fields, which used to be a, well, a lush reef. But, the aurora created the crag fields when it crashed, thereby destroying the “lush reef”. So, the sea treaders are the ones who made the sparse reef. They will go extinct because there is nothing to eat.
5:58 i think it would be AWESOME to add these doors before entering
Also why the hatch was never just designed to be a little airlock in and of itself is beyond me! Why make me build the door and then a bulkhead just to simulate realism?!
They could have made the hatch be like it is now, but with a sliding door system that opens automatically when you walk to it. Have the water drain after it flows on the floow of the room.
I think it would be equally cool, yet still just as fast. (Because I personally hate the idea of being my self and going out side my habitat realizing I had something to do inside, and than realize I did have something outside I needed to do. I’d spend hours of my time played going through doors).
There is a law made after the titanic sank, the law said that all ships must have enough lifeboats for the maximum capacity
Say a boat can fit a maximum of 1500 people, 10 people can fit on a lifeboat, there will be 150 lifeboats
For lack of better words destroyed by the ion Cannon or torn open by some sort of life formand the only other life pod that survived was the life pod, literally right next to life, pod 5, it just got flipped over
I have 1 more: How is the reactor room still mostly intact after the ship blew more or less up due to power instability?
It was propably the heaviest built part of the ship to maximize the chances that a crash wouldn’t end with a nuclear melt down.
The rest of the ship could have been built to be destroyed on impact similarly to cars crumpling up when they crash. Maybe the ship was even designed to be destroyed around the reactor room to keep it safe.
Dang i love this game so much.
Two words: Water Pressure
Crush depths have something to do with it I think, but we can swim perfectly fine Downwards, which is difficult for me to do when I’m swimming because I’m a normal person…
So was Ryley, no wait he’s a chief maintenance the last who left the Aurora. Yeah…
Since you bring up magnesium, that is what should be making the flares work underwater as well. But instead they chose to use suffer.
I believe they originally did use Mg in something back in the older game and sulphur was labeled as “Crash Fish Powder” so like eh
When the gun fired it made most of the lifepods not work/not work properly
And only 2 worked perfectly fine
And 1 one of these were destroyed by a reaper
I've no explanation of non flooding of bases or single seat vehicles but I think you mentioned the Cyclops.?
That certainly wouldn't flood as the entrance is at the bottom therefore acting as a diving bell entrance.
Why the DEVs fitted a door on it I can only speculate its function is to prevent the player falling out when getting to the bottom of the ladders or reaching that section.
The engine gets damaged and explodes, just like the seamoth
Maybe 4546B’s water is different from earths water. That could explain why that one fire is just hangin out. Oh and if you do ever go diving at the lost river irl place bring something like a 3D printed gargantuan skull and put it down there. If that IS actually possible.
nice
Wait until he finds out about certain species of ants
If I’m being stupid feel free to correct me but for the point about the life pods it’s entirely possible most of the others landed in the dead zone and got eaten by ghosts. Also for your point about how the plastic bottle doesn’t make sense bio plastics already exist irl and are probably more advanced in the subnautica universe. Also there already exists species of ants that can explode and also think about the environment of the safe shallows before you arrived everything native to that area is too small to cause it to crash so the only thing that could trigger it is a stalker wandering in which wouldn’t happen too often
I explain why I don't think the lifepods are scattered in the video
As for the ants, I think there's a huge difference in the effectiveness of suicide bombers in an ant colony, where thousands of ants protect the nest, and the crashfish, where there's only one
Mayby the baber fish has sum plastic material in him
Something that doesn't make sense to me is crush depth in cave systems.
Conan exiles kinda like skyrim
Aci, a lot of survivors survived the fall but died to the planet. Lifepod 4, Officer keen and yu. The reason they’re all dead is due to the fact we passed out. This is meant as constructive criticism
What really doesn’t make sense is how the way you get into your base without it getting water into it. Like, is there an invisible barrier behind the hatch that makes it so water cannot enter but you can?
Don't the architects have something like that?
@@Noah49295 True. Actually, that would make a lot more sense
me realizing that the sea dragon could be irl
4:45 the is actually a creatures on earth that explodes its mostly insects mainly ants or Colobopsis saundersi so i would not say its too far fetched to see a alien animal explode to defend its eggs and nest
4:39 maybe the fabricator had a reserve of certain materials like plastic and rubber.
It says in the description that the bottles are made of organic material not plastic
There are survivors, and just got killed by warmers or other things like reapers. not to mention how some people could have been crushed by the aroura or landed in the void
hol up if mag burns under water wouldn't the jelly caves be a small lava zone ?
Bro literally that reapers would rather eat a fucking robot that drills them in the face than fish
0:51 What do you mean by "usually"?
👀
Cyclops’s that go below crush depth should just flood and sink they should be scavengeable but just be sunken ships
0:06 So I'm not the only one who saw that?
12000 meters = 12 km
Yeah, i added a zero too many 😅
Why not look for a mod that disables ghost leviathans
Actually there's an ant that explodes Explosion to goo block enough entrances to the nest
On top of the point you were making about the lifepods how long would Riley have to be knocked out for all of the distress signals to happen?
Sci-fi technology also lets you eat plastic cool right?
Actually, I’m really life, technically you could open up the hatch to a submarine without it flooding because of the pressure inside of the submarine
*in real life
Docking station doesn’t make sense too, especialy when its build 1 km under water
